I would like to share with you my practice: I use the vegatable moisture for this food insted of water.
I wish you the best ❤ and I enjoy your channel so much!

    Recipe and macros:
    1-1.5 kg veg total
    1 large courgette grated
    1 onion grated
    1 kg potatoes grated
    3 tbs ground flax seed
    9 tbs of water
    250g frozen peas
At least 4 tablespoons of flour
    Salt
    1.5 tbs oil to fry.
    1. Put the grated courgette and potato into a colander. Put a generous pinch of salt onto the vegetables.
    2. After a few minutes press out all the moisture and add the thawed peas
    3. Mix the flax seed and water to make flax eggs, leave for a few minutes to coagulate then mix into the vegetables.
    4. Add four tablespoons of flour - you may need more than this
    5. 1 teasp garlic powder
    6. Zest of half lemon
    7. 1.5 tbs of oil on a frying pan
    8. Don’t be tempted to flip the fritters before they’re properly brown.
4 servings each of 281kcal, 9.2 grams of protein; 9.1g fat; 34.8g carbohydrate.
I also miss the Yo Dudes start to the vid's.

Chickpea flour instead of plain flour would make these gluten free and higher in protein. Plus the fritters would not fall apart because chickpea flour is a great egg substitute!

@@katireijonen - Kati, thank you so much! I was just going to try to figure out how to make this gf. Did not think of chickpea flour. Will try that!
      💖
Also, looked up the Japanese cabbage pancake and found a recipe that called for 2 xl eggs & 3/4c to 1c flour. How would you sub chickpea flour? Or do you have a link for a recipe you'd recommend?
      👏🏻💖🌹😊

@@rose8662 Thanks Rose. When you substitute eggs with chickpea flour, the ratio usually is 3 tbsp of chickpea flour for 1 egg. Try replacing half of the flour in the recipe with chickpea flour. The last time I made the okonomiyakis I did not measure the ingredients but I think thats what I did: half and half. You can also make the pancakes with chickpea flour only but the result will be smoother and tastier with some wheat. And do get some Tonkatsu sauce (Bull-Dog) and vegan mayo (easy to make with soy milk and oil). Tonkatsu is delicious. My family loves okonomiyakis! Happy cooking and let me know how your pancakes turned out!

Hi, I am part Syrian and raised in a Syrian home. Heres my grandmothers' recipe. cooked garbanzos with a weight of 30 oz. or two cans of garbanzos. 2 cloves of garlic, juice o0f 1 lemon and a heaped Tablespoon. of tahini, we don't use toasted tahini, just regular with some of the oil in the jar. peel the garlic and add to a food processor or blender. with the lemon juice and a bit of the tahini oil. blend until fine chop. add the beans and the tahini and just let the machine whirl the mix around hence perfect hummus. now, every measurement is subjective, some lemons are juicier, the tahini brand may taste different from the other brand, sometimes a bit of salt is needed or you need more tahini. Sometimes at the last whirl I will add a bit of parsley then zap it quick. I buy organic and usually find it needs salt. it keeps well and once you start making it, you'll never want the prepackaged
hummus. adjust everything to your taste. Ive got faith that you'll be a wonderful hummus
also it cost about 90% less. My grandmother was born in 1899 and she brought this recipe to the states when she immigrated. Heck if you need any middle eastern recipe, just respond with what you want and I will glady give it to you. oh do not use olive oil over it. when you go to serve the hummus, sprinkle cayenne to form an X in the center. it symbolizes you are in a Christian home. I have faith you will do our family recipe proud.

Lovely recipe ! Can you please tell me what roasted tahini is and what colour it is ? I'm from the UK and we only get one type of tahni from the jar . The colour is brown . But it's bitter when I've tried to eat it with falafels and actually inedible ! Would it be okay to use it to make hummus with though?
In all the falafel shops the tahni is white . Why is that? Is it un-toasted tahini? Or do they mix the brown tahni with something ?
Please help! I'm confused and would love to know!

Chickpea flour instead of white flour would be better and nutritious.

Did somebody misplace or break the tamper that should be the buddy of the food processor? 😜🤣 By the way..... here in the US, a courgette is called zucchini. 😌 And we also say Baaaisil, but here I prefer the “European English” pronunciation you used. 😉

LOL I am having an interesting time with these words and others in the US. I say bahzil not bayzil, courgette, Dehpo (depot) not deepo. There are so many others but my favourite was a few days ago at the ophthalmologist. As I read the letters on the chart, I said ZED for the letter Z. He had a chuckle and asked where I was from because I didn't say ZEE. :)

Im curious, while I get you guys say that it serves 4 it looks like you can get way more than 4 out of that mix, how many would you recommend per serving on their own, 2/3?

Cassava root will also bind the veges, cassava root must be under 3 months old. Simply grate it.

I think my old school hand grater will work, so no need for food processor, therefore more savings in perspective...
