I love that I watch a video entitled “top 10 budget one watch collection” as if I don’t already own way too many non-budget watches, and am likely weeks away from rationalizing yet another purchase. Good stuff, Harrison, as always.
Ye, i dont know this guy but his definition of budget is definitely different than mine lol for me budget is under 500... and there wasnt a single one here lol
TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solar is pretty much a one watch collection that good for almost everything, unless if we're on the budget then I suggest Citizen Promaster Dive BN0167-50H, it's beautiful shaded grey, it's solar, it's bracelet, it's not over 450 Pounds. Pretty much beater.
Got my Sinn 556a RS on today as I have done since I picked it up last week from your friends over the road in Argyle Arcade at James Porter. I’d always liked this watch but seeing it in the metal for the first time really sealed the deal for me. Such a good watch and still very good value for money I think.
Just like to add that the Tudor Calibre T601 from the Tudor Royal is not an in house movement, but a top grade Selita SW200 movement that Tudor use an in house rotor for its movement.
I am still convinced my Seiko 5 Alpinist 1959 reimagination is the finest all rounder. It's my everyday luxury and deals with diving, kiteboarding, DIY etc. and is hypnotically beautiful.
Huge fan of your videos: knowledgeable without the snobbery. As I’m from Glasgow, I regularly annoy the Argyle Arcade CH team too. A PRX, engagement ring & BB58 all picked up there. Keep up the great work!
It's much bigger than an explorer for one thing (41mm v 38.5mm) so yes, it is much more like an OP (which is still smaller) even without the 3/6/9. I would say its the most like a Rolex of all watches in many ways. They really should do a brushed three fold clasp without a date. It's nothing like an aquaterra to wear IMO. The Aquaterra's are so thick and heavy.
Well I’m glad you included the CW C63 sealander as that’s what I have, it was my one watch collection, but then I got the bug for owning more watches and so my collection is growing. Although the C63 is still my favourite and the one I wear most, they’re just amazing value for money.
I have several Tissots, Tag Heuer Aquaracer (300 pro tho), Hamilton Field (Murph tho), Longines Zulu Time (gold tho), and Garmin Tactix Pro 7 (brother to the one listed). So I think I have between 6 to 8 one watch collections per this video🤣. All great choices.
I agree with you on the Garmin smart watch for a one watch collection but you picked the wrong one- Garmin instinct 2X tactical solar is the watch nerds choice as it looks like a proper cool coloured watch, lasts a month with all the health stuff turned on, lasts 100 days in low power mode AND potentially never needs charging if your outdoors as it’s solar powered too. Perfect 👍
Re: the Aquaracer. My Seiko Prospex "Air Diver" SBDN001 watch is titanium and solar powered, and far more affordable than a TAG. Has worked flawlessly for more than 10 years (but the rechargeable battery will need replacing within 5 years probably). I don't need to baby it, so it does get used for swimming, kayaking, hiking, travelling etc. It is grab and go for work if my automatics need setting. The scratches on the case and band add character and the crystal doesn't have a single scratch on it (yet!). The shade of blue in the dial is dreamy (better and different to most photos). The small size (for a diver) and light weight make it super comfortable. Great lume. If it were my only watch, THAT would be an affordable one and done watch! Seiko prices have jumped recently, but it was a steal in 2013.
I'm wearing a 1 watch collection you should consider covering. The Citizen AQ4100-57L. Eco-drive and accurate to 5 seconds a year. Plus once the date is set the Perpetual Calendar feature allows you to never have to set the date again.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.
Wrist check: 38mm Aqua Terra blue dial. For one watch collection I’d exclude numbered bezels and any that aren’t available at 39mm or less. Good call on the Conquest but I thought you’d have gone for the Carrera Date as the Tag Heuer, which is all that anybody really needs in a watch. You can get some amazing Seikos - Prospex (SPB249) or Presage (SSK 039 for a GMT or SRPH27 if you can’t afford a Hamilton) under £500 or even £300.
For my budget watch I really like my Certina DS Diver in 38mm. Size wise it hits the sweet spot and looks really nice. Today I'm wearing my 40mm Yacht-Master.
I'm wearing the Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition 37mm black on the bracelet. Im in Calgary just waiting for the smoke to go away to take this watch up a mountain in Banff!
I’m a huge, die-hard fan of your channel, but i’m not a fan of these 1-watch selections you call “budget.” 😅 These watches are on a 4-digit price range. My wrist check is the Casio Oceanus T200. A watch from the Japanese Domestic Market that is solar-powered, bluetooth, radio for perfect timing, perpetual calendar, the finishing is claimed to be in the same factory as grand seiko (but it looks inviting and elegant); it’s sporty & can dress up or down. I can wear it to the beach, weddings, vacations, office, whatever; It’s 41mm BUT the steel Bracelet is so comfortable that fits perfectly on my 6-inch wrist. (My girlfriend even tries to steal the watch and wear it without me knowing) It’s the perfect everyday 1-watch collection & all that for $300 USD.
Agree about the green and black Longines GMT but I went for the new 39mm Tudor BB58 GMT as my one and done. Looks good for either smart or casual and it won't die if I go swimming 😊
I got a Rolex AirKing on the wrist. Was thinking of buying a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 soon but I just might buy a Tudor Royale after this video. Phenomenal watch that Tudor.
Regarding the Tag I would say that the premium for solar technology is a very small part and the name is everything. You can get a solar Casio for 100$ so the tech is cheap.
I have that exact Hamilton Khaki Field and I love. Possibly my most worn watch. But one thing it is not is versatile hahaha. The bead blasted case makes it zero dressy and the large gap between the case and the lug holes make it look goofy and wrong on any strap that isn't a pass through (in my opinion of course, I assume Nomos fans dont mind )
Great video as always. If I was to purchase any of the watches ( Hamilton khaki field a side as I own one of those) it would be the Longines Zulu time great watch
So far I have 3 watches: a Gshock, a Seiko SSC813 Panda Speedtimer, and a CW C65 Dune Shoreline.... looking for my next and possibly final watch (mainly for my wallet's sake) and its been tough to narrow it down my options as I want a nice watch but don't want to spend over $6K for a watch so this was helpful, thank you!!
Hello Harrison - it's awesome to have chapters on the videos now! Today on the wrist is my King Seiko 5626-7000. Quick question, are you planning on doing a quick review on the new khaki field bronze with the white dial? Definitely like the look of bronze on white, but i'd like your insight on whether paying a premium for a bronze case is worth it.
@alwayspooh1588 nope, the blue fluted-motif dial! The Wimbledon is great, but too hyped in my opinion. The blue fluted-motif was my favorite when they were around 2021 till this past year.
THe Riveria comes in different sizes and styles though. You can get smaller 39-40mm i think, and i think it has like 120 hour power reserve. Doesn't get covered enough
I agree with choice of Tissot Gentleman. Timeless and, I think anyway, elegant design. Comes with upgraded powermatic movement - even though one in PRX is perfectly fine I think. Finally 21mm lugs but there are lots still to choose from to change your look from lots of vendors.
I have the older seiko samurai and it's amazing. ironically just bought the CW C63 GMT and the Tissot Gentleman is on my next to buy list along with the Tag ang Longines. Why is this video targeting my own list 😅 All he needed to do was add a Hamilton Murph and Tudor Pelegos.
When he said digital, I was expecting something like a stainless steel G-Shock Square, or at least a casio. Then he mentions a smart watch 😅 I would have just given that spot to a Seiko Alpinist.
I've got the Seiko Essentials SNES 529 Solar Green face silver case I think it was 200 though on the Seiko website they sell it for 240. I can't really afford the super-expensive watches though I appreciate nice watches. Regarding smartwatches, I have the Samsung 5 watch that I pair with my Zflip 4 though I'm about due for a trade-in to the 6.
How is it forgotten that PRX runs on plastic parts while the Gentleman has the same movement az ones that can be COSC certified including a Si hairspring..? It is a completily different watch and superior to plastic PRXs. I can only recomment the Gentleman, and wanna see a 36 mm version of ot.
I love that I watch a video entitled “top 10 budget one watch collection” as if I don’t already own way too many non-budget watches, and am likely weeks away from rationalizing yet another purchase. Good stuff, Harrison, as always.

To many divewatches kind of boring particularly when you not dive anymore
Got my Sinn 556a RS on today as I have done since I picked it up last week from your friends over the road in Argyle Arcade at James Porter.
I’d always liked this watch but seeing it in the metal for the first time really sealed the deal for me. Such a good watch and still very good value for money I think.
I’ve been eyeing the RS, either the A or I, on the fine link bracelet. What a great, simple watch!
Nice selection❤. The Longines Conquest is a stunner, and the winner here for me👍
Just like to add that the Tudor Calibre T601 from the Tudor Royal is not an in house movement, but a top grade Selita SW200 movement that Tudor use an in house rotor for its movement.
I am still convinced my Seiko 5 Alpinist 1959 reimagination is the finest all rounder. It's my everyday luxury and deals with diving, kiteboarding, DIY etc. and is hypnotically beautiful.
Longines Conquest gorgeous GADA watch 🖤
Some great recommendations in this list. Love both the Longines and the CW C63
I certainly don’t have a “1-watch collection”, but I think my SARB035 would fit the budget 1-watch collection spot nicely.
Huge fan of your videos: knowledgeable without the snobbery. As I’m from Glasgow, I regularly annoy the Argyle Arcade CH team too. A PRX, engagement ring & BB58 all picked up there. Keep up the great work!
Thank you Jordan, I really appreciate the support mate.
The Tissot gentleman is nothing like a budget Rolex explorer, it looks way more like a Rolex oyster perpetual.
Or an Aquaterra.
Wrist check: Longines Spirit Zulu Time Anthracite/Green 42
Number 9 longines, for me is number 1
The Longines and CW are the best bang for the money imo..
Quick tip: Most ppl who wear GMT doesn't use the gmt function, the same can be applied to dive watches
100 % agreed on Longines Zulu Time GMT, because I am wearing it. Black/Green , 42 mm.
Same
All great choices. One more point to add is that the 500-3,000 price category is full of competition. Also, it helps to shop to find discounts.
Well I’m glad you included the CW C63 sealander as that’s what I have, it was my one watch collection, but then I got the bug for owning more watches and so my collection is growing. Although the C63 is still my favourite and the one I wear most, they’re just amazing value for money.
Longines. Luxury bang for budget buck.
Wristcheck: Omega Swatch “Earth” Variant as a farewell gift from my team!
Got the Spirit Zulu with green/ black 2 weeks ago, love it
I have several Tissots, Tag Heuer Aquaracer (300 pro tho), Hamilton Field (Murph tho), Longines Zulu Time (gold tho), and Garmin Tactix Pro 7 (brother to the one listed). So I think I have between 6 to 8 one watch collections per this video🤣. All great choices.

B&M Riviera Baumatic with a smoked dial is so underrated.
"Miller&Scott London" today is on my wrist In your presentation I like the Longine Conquest in silver

Wrist check: longines hydroconquest
Fun video. I've got on my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean.
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the MAMACOO's watches are the most intriguing.

The Tudor Royal 41mm Day/Date is one of the best value for dollar piece on the market right now in my opinion.
Seen some used ones going for £1,500
Wrist check: Hamilton khaki field titanium which I got from Chisholm Hunter Nottingham based on your review 😀
Love my CW C63 Sealander GMT with the green dial. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
I have the white dial myself. Love it!!
Today on my wrist: Christopher Ward Twelve frosted lavender.
I'm wearing the Hamilton Khaki Field Expedition 37mm black on the bracelet. Im in Calgary just waiting for the smoke to go away to take this watch up a mountain in Banff!
Wrist check - Tag Heuer Monaco Calibre 12
The Tudor looks extremely classy!
I’m a huge, die-hard fan of your channel, but i’m not a fan of these 1-watch selections you call “budget.” 😅 These watches are on a 4-digit price range.

Agree about the green and black Longines GMT but I went for the new 39mm Tudor BB58 GMT as my one and done. Looks good for either smart or casual and it won't die if I go swimming 😊
Tudor Royal uses Sellita
Gotta be a Seiko Alpinist for me !
Great list!
I got a Rolex AirKing on the wrist. Was thinking of buying a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 soon but I just might buy a Tudor Royale after this video. Phenomenal watch that Tudor.
More and more I’m just wearing my BB36. It does everything other than gym duty.
Love this!
Nice video! Wrist check: blancpain, air command, flyback from 1997.
My favourite one do it all budget watch is Mido big date TV with the blue dial
Regarding the Tag I would say that the premium for solar technology is a very small part and the name is everything. You can get a solar Casio for 100$ so the tech is cheap.

Hamilton Khaki Field Auto, Seiko Alpinist - two other GADA / one watch collection.
I need that seiko suggardaddy!
Wrist check: Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive 37 mm
Mine has been running for over 12 years non-stop.
Wrist check: Garmin Instinct 2X Solar Tactical
Great video as always. If I was to purchase any of the watches ( Hamilton khaki field a side as I own one of those) it would be the Longines Zulu time great watch

Wearing my CW Elite 1000 on a Zulu Alpha nato strap (best straps on the market)
Tudor Royal is one of the best value piece on the market. I would prefer the 41 mm with Day/Date
Gentleman all the way, quality, beauty and price.
Hello Harrison - it's awesome to have chapters on the videos now! Today on the wrist is my King Seiko 5626-7000. Quick question, are you planning on doing a quick review on the new khaki field bronze with the white dial? wrist check; Bell & Ross BRS92 Golden Heritage 39mm Automatic
Had to wear the DJ36 while watching the Wimbledon Gentlemen's Championship!
But is it the Wimbledon model????
@alwayspooh1588 nope, the blue fluted-motif dial! The Wimbledon is great, but too hyped in my opinion. The blue fluted-motif was my favorite when they were around 2021 till this past year.
Write check: Omega Speedmaster 57' green dial
What's your thought on a wearing gold chain with stainless/silver watches?
Second! What do u guys think about Tudor black bay ceramic.
THe Riveria comes in different sizes and styles though. You can get smaller 39-40mm i think, and i think it has like 120 hour power reserve. Doesn't get covered enough
Tag Heuer Monaco WAW131A.FC6177 is my recommendation for a one watch collection
Longines e Tissot ❤
Tudor Royal does not use in-hous movement, the T603 is from Sellita.
Good vid but I found for a one watch collection most of these watches leaned far to heavy on the sport. Just another opinion.
I don’t know if it was just camera angle but the second hand not lining up with the markers on the dial made my ocd crazy on the Tag
The Seiko Shogurai is insane!
Wow! I just wish it would have a slightly better movement.
Hardlex though👎
Seiko SNE589, solar diver on a black irezumi strap from Uncle straps. Solar is very underrated in my opinion...
The Chudor is nice
Tissot gentlmen should also come in 36-38mm range.
I agree with choice of Tissot Gentleman. Timeless and, I think anyway, elegant design. Comes with upgraded powermatic movement - even though one in PRX is perfectly fine I think. Finally 21mm lugs but there are lots still to choose from to change your look from lots of vendors.
I like all of them.💯👍

Why is this video targeting my own list 😅 All he needed to do was add a Hamilton Murph and Tudor Pelegos.
Having watched another video showing that Tissot use Plastic parts in their movements I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.
Citizen Zenshin ST. Best watch under 500$ imo.
Tissot “Gentleman” quartz Titanium is great and cheaper than the mechanical version.
Tissot powermatic 80 and the Longines 38mm
Made in hmt watches one of the best watch affordable gud mechanism
When he said digital, I was expecting something like a stainless steel G-Shock Square, or at least a casio. Then he mentions a smart watch 😅 I would have just given that spot to a Seiko Alpinist.
You made a mistake with the Tudor royal- it has a selitta movement, not an in house movement
Royale instead of the 1926? Interesting. Good list, surprised you didn’t throw in a G shock. Doesn’t CW do a 36mm gmt too
You forget the real all rounder seiko alpinist
Wrist Check: Orient Mako XL
Wrist check: Seiko 5 GMT.
Hamilton is an excellent watch for someone watching their bills.
Wearing my brew metric black
Monta also checks this box IMO
Wearing my Rolex Datejust 16203 today
How is it forgotten that PRX runs on plastic parts while the Gentleman has the same movement az ones that can be COSC certified including a Si hairspring..? It is a completily different watch and superior to plastic PRXs. I can only recomment the Gentleman, and wanna see a 36 mm version of ot.
For me personally i dont like how shiny and blingy is the aqua, the conquest is way more quite and not scream like the aqua
EEEEW no the garmin 😭
Great video tho otherwise thanks for the interesting list!
The best one watch….well watch…..(I don’t know how one collects one thing)…..is the Omega Ti World Timer.
Seiko alpinist mountain glacier
Leather when I wear it with my suite and tie
Rubber when I take it to beach or travel
Green Citizen tsuyosa on my wrist now
