It was dope, needed to watch a speed level desing to get some ideas of how to do it for my own project, you helped me out here, new sub for you, ty mate! Keep the work.
Great work! I wouldn't call it level design though, as it does not feature gameplay elements. This is more in the "environment art" category. Keep it up!
Sorry for the late response but I used my own asset pack for the height map. You can get it from here: nestgfx.gumroad.com/l/HeightMaps?layout=profile&recommended_by=search
Thanks a lot bro. Here is a short guide I created on how to get this water material. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. Have a great day. imgur.com/a/f0ngI12
Did you have a reference or concept art that you used? I think the hardest for me is the beginning, just where to start. the types of details that need to be filled in, etc. I probably have OCD lol.
I don't always gather references for my scenes ( For this one, I didn't), but it's always a good practice to see some realated images of what you're going to create. And yes, it's always a headache thinking about where to start, but from my experience I would say ' just start ', and also always start with big details first, like houses or any other main focus point, then comes the medium details like big trees, bridges, big rocks, and then make the scene beautiful with the small details, like small trees, tree branches, small rocks, pebbles, mud etc. Hope this will help you, you can massage me back anytime if you need any help.
No problem, here’s the link: nestgfx.gumroad.com/l/HeightMaps Also I have updated the description, so that link works too. Thanks man and have a great day.
@@NestGFX_ thanks, i bought the package and is very good, there are so many height Maps, could you tell me which one you used for this video? I would like to use the same one
@@MrMoney-zu6su It's glad to know that you liked the pack.(You made my day actually). I would really appreciate if you can leave a review on the product, if you have the time. Also about the height map, I would love to tell you which one I used, but tbh I don't remember anymore. But I think it was either from the 'Mountain' or the 'Landscape' folder. Thanks :o
UA-cam is a great place to learn almost anything and everything. For a beginner I would suggest you Unreal Sensei's tutorials. Also good luck with your projects. 🔥
Hello @BoraYalcin, first off all it was not meant to be a full fledge tutorial. It was a speed level design, just to show how I approach my scenes. I'll probably make tutorials in the future if I get some free time from my life. Also as per the assets I used quixel megascans for the static meshes, for the mediaeval houses I used ' Mediaeval Houses Modular Vol 2 ' ( Just search on epic games' marketplace ) and for the trees I used quixel megascans trees. Hope this will help you & thanks. ✨
