I discover your channel today. Congrats for orders 😁🤩👍. Vivid Green is gorgeous. Ordered mine in Burnt Orange, with black wheels 🤣. Should have it in september😉
Great video - look forward to the next instalment. Nice to meet you both on Sunday, and Rob - your car looks fantastic in the flesh! Hope your delivery is sooner, rather than later Jon . If you ever want to feature a boring white Elise 220, let me know :)
Yep, the 260 was an incredible piece of kit. I remember being part of an organised run through the Welsh mountains and there were Lambos & 911s struggling to keep up with it! Hopefully a car we can feature on the channel sometime soon! 🤞
Kudos for ignoring your dealer's advice and ordering without AC! My brother and I also have Cup 250s on order both without AC! I owned an Elise S2 without AC for 5 years so know what I'm getting into, I'd have it on an Exige but will be taking the roof off at every opportunity so not much point having it. Our cars are delayed also, mine should be showing up some time next month.
Haha, thanks - just figured it adds weight and I’ll never use it. But then again, I specced a stereo which adds the weight back on 🤷♂️ Lots of delays at the moment - it’ll definitely be worth the wait though.
Personally I would have gone for a used exige V6 over a new Elise 250. Purely for the noise. The Elise is probably better on smaller roads here in the UK.
It’s definitely a tricky choice - the Exige ticks so many boxes. The Elise is a proper giant killer though - will outpace almost anything on narrow, twisty British roads. It’s also cheaper to run and maintain than the Exige… so more money to drive the thing!
@@OneElevenCars yeah the exige will be more to run, bigger tyres, more fuel, faster car too so you'll have to brake more and harder. I just like that V6 noise better though. The Elise sounds good for a 4cyl but it will never compete with the V6. 😎
@@OneElevenCars I’m already stocking up an after markets parts, I have selected the same racing green paint found on the 2018/19 Exige type 25 limited edition car which is a darker shade of British racing green.
Bit of an unknown at the moment as the factory are struggling with parts delays (due to COVID). Originally the cars were due to be built in June and August, but it’ll be later than that now. Fingers crossed it’ll be soon!

Congrats Michael - sounds like a great spec. Bet you can’t wait!
@@OneElevenCars I am dreaming of my Final Edition every nights😂. Il will inform you with instagram I hope😉👍
Hi guys - looking forward to your first drive and video. Like you I’m also waiting for delivery of a Vortex Grey 250 Cup with diamond cut wheels 🤣.
Congrats! When are you hoping to take delivery? Video on the first of the Cup 250s coming to the channel very soon!
December if no delay

Thanks Duncan - great to meet you too!
Green is much less boring than grey. Great choices on the colours
Congrats on your purchases, gents. Look forward to them featuring in your vids.
Thanks Drew - appreciate it 👍
Nice choice, even though you're late to get the most ultimate evolution of lotus Elise cup 260, but hey the final edition is pretty neat too

Are you around the Peak District? I’m hoping to get my hands on an Elise soon and live just by Alton Towers so love to explore the peaks.
Yes, we’re based in Sheffield so we’re in the Peaks often. Would be fantastic to meet up for a drive once you’ve got an Elise!
Look forward to the new content guys!
Thanks! Plenty more to come…

Agreed - that V6 noise is just unbeatable! Looking forward to hearing the AMG 4cyl in the Emira though
@@OneElevenCars That engine will be turbocharged though, so I’d be surprised if it sounds as good as the Elise.
Awesome podcast!
Thanks Nicholas - really appreciate the support!
I have a 430 Cup on order too 🙂
Congrats! Bet you can’t wait!

Silver wheels look way better. Black wheels are awful. Can't wait for the black wheel trend to die
Thanks Lawrence - couldn’t agree more (don’t tell Jon) 😜
@@OneElevenCars what about grey wheels. I have had 2 cars with grey wheels, but I still like the silver better, but not enough to get them re painted.
