Roof debate Jon……. Get that hard top off. That way you enjoy the summer and can look forward to getting those beautiful lines back in the winter. It’s a win win

I’m in the same predicament as Jon. The dealer said that a hardtop option was no longer available when I bought my FE, but he called a few months later to say that I was getting a hardtop for free because of the CoVid issue in India. I’m not complaining, but the weather is ideal to take the top off now…

Thanks really enjoyed that! Although I loved the A052's on my Cup I'm afraid my pockets aren't deep enough to replace them every 3k miles, I went with the 105's and found the front did understeer a bit, I've just had Dan at HPE(You know him I'm sure) have a look at my geo and he found the factory set up to be very conservative, he's adjusted it and I'd suggest you do the same. They're never going to be as grippy as the 52's but a big improvement front and back👍

@@OneElevenCars Definitely, I’m talking about road driving, not on track, where the 52’s will come into their own. Another plus point of the 105’s is the reduced gravel rash to the side aero😉

Thanks Drew. Gain settings on the mics were set correctly, but I think there might be some input settings on the camera which need playing with… we were using a new camera for this one, so still figuring it all out!

I think that RRR air filter sounds superb. You said it is easy to fit yourself ?
I don't suppose you have a video link for a fitment guide?
In the past I did fit an induction kit to my Honda S2000,but there was a lot more space in the engine bay 🙂
It is relatively easy yes. Will take a couple of hours if handy with a screwdriver (a dealer/garage can fit in less than an hour). You will need to also go through the rear wheel arch to fit the cone though! No video guide unfortunately (although we could point a few things out in a future video), but RRR are very friendly and it comes with the mounting bracket that uses existing points on the car.
You guys seem to have the same view of the A052s that I do; definitely a grippy tyre and I like that they're not directional, but they do wear quickly albeit grip well even when near slicks. Here in Australia we have no need of summer/winter tyres, and I'm happy about that!!!

I got a cone type air filter system for my Sport 240 for exactly the same reason. I’ve been a little afraid to install it based on the concern over the ECU throwing an error code (which might not bode well should warranty repair ever be necessary). Did you not find this to be an issue?
Yes you always need to weigh up pros/cons and risks when doing any modifications of course. I can’t speak for other filters, but this one is well tested, and has thrown no errors and no issues with anything. Apart from being a blessing to my ears 😂.
