Game of Thrones is truly an amazing show, and Jack Gleeson is truly an *AMAZING* actor, as they both made us cheer with glee, the murder of a teenage boy.
It's always so fecked up that actors, writers or directors get death threats for creating, show, game etc.

On Brienne loving Jamie, don’t forget she has an underdeveloped romantic life. She was in love with Renley just because he was kind to her at a ball. I can see how lacking true relationship experience, she could develop a fantasy love for Jaime, keeping it to herself because she feels he’s unobtainable.

What’s weird is that I hated Joffrey but after he died I kinda missed him. Lol 😅

Jaime respects Brianne' s skills as a warrior but he Admires her honour more than anything.
In the books they definitely get intimate, but their relationship is a very slow burn. Pretty sure in the show they end up hooking up too.
This episode was much needed after the Red Wedding 😂 people got too depressed after watching that

I honestly wasn't. When I read about it, I realized Tyrion would be in serious trouble. Also, Joffrey at the end of the day was still a teen at best, corrupted by a life he never asked for, an absentee dad, a messed up mom and in all likelihood a physically abusive uncle (obv. not talking about Jaime).
My friend was a fan of Joffrey the whole time lol. God dam sick person

Bran's visions *always* gives me chills.
It's interesting how Catelyn Stark's death was for many of us, like having our own guts torn out, and yet Joffrey's death is filled with a joyous warmth. The agonized screams of his Mother, as soothing and reassuring as a Brahms concerto. This was almost as satisfying as another incident I will not mention the details of (down the road a bit). I'm sure there are many in the comments who know what I'm thinking of.

Notice the birds flew out of the pie and one was killed by Joffrey’s sword. Joffrey had said every time he uses the sword it will be like chopping off Ned Stark’s head again. Also, if you remember, Arya saw a flock of birds fly away when her father was executed. Both these things frame Joffrey’s death as justice for killing Ned.

During the wedding Sansa tells Tyrion "we have a new queen now" while rolling her eyes. She says it almost like she's affronted at being cast aside so callously for Margaery. Which is weird since the groom in question is Joffrey, but understandable as it is a matter of pride. It brings up the age old question of who would be the more prized bride, the more fitting queen between these two ladies from two old noble houses with two very different personalities. This is the quote that comes to my mind when I think of that. "Haunted vulnerability" is a great GRRM description of Sansa compared to the more self-assured and flashy beauty of Margaery.
Imo the character Joffrey is one of GRRM's greatest creations and hats off to Jack Gleeson man. What an actor, what an actor. He turned this role into one of the most memorable villains in the history of tv shows. Wish he hadn't quit acting tho, sucks that the role took a mental toll on him. He's like the sweetest guy in real life too lol and is a scholar of philosophy and theology.

No it doesn't. You make yourself cheer for a boy dying slowly agony if you let your baser instincts get to you. It was perfectly possible to be glad Joffrey died, but also empathetic for the parents, no matter how messed up, grieving for their child and reflective of the life circumstances that created a child like Joffrey.
@@SerbAtheist You are right. In the books Tyrion in the moment felt sad for Joffrey (despite everything he did), all he saw was a young boy choking to death while his parents were mourning for him.
