Jack Gleeson played Joffrey so well, I always have to smile, when other actors (especially Sophie/Sansa) describe him as the sweetest person on set. It's easy to play heros, but villains are another level. Great job on this, doesn't change the fact, that we all (?) hate Joffrey :D .
I mean he modeled him after possibly an even worse person than Joffrey, Commidus from Gladiator, and while Joaquin Phoenix is known to be aloof, I don't think anyone whose worked with him has ever said he's a bad person either. Just shows how great of an actor both Jack and Joaquin are, for playing two of the worst people in cinema history. Could say the same for Iwan Rheon (Ramsay). It takes a real good actor to play people that horrible. To get people to buy into the act that these people are truly horrible is a lot harder than playing a noble character like Ned, Jon or Robb.
@@mr.m7491 yes because he got lots of hate comments.. some people are so toxic.. we love him because he was so good to receive hate in this series but some people took it seriously and hated him in real life

Because Cersei may love her child but she doesn't like the man he's become. He doesn't feel that kind of devotion towards her. Once that marriage was consummated, he is no longer hers. She is no longer Queen Regent. He doesn't need her. He doesn't want her around nor does he value her input. Once the marriage is consummated, she is to be married off to someone she doesn't have any use for and sent far away from court, Jamie,Tommen & the life & power she knows. The moment the marriage is consummated, her child is lost to her anyways. But dying just before? He would always stay forever her boy. She retains her crown. And she does have a spare. That's why it's a plausible theory. Let's not pretend that Cersei doesn't have some convoluted ideas about what love means & how it's shown. Her love is not known for being healthy.
42:50 Joffrey says "since you're too cowardly to fight", funny thing is, Tyrion was the one leading soldiers into battle at Blackwater while Joffrey was the one that was too cowardly to stay on the beach and fight. Just nice to take something away from what a good job he did creating such a monster-prick character!
Fun facts: About Lady Walda, (no R at the end) Roose's wife (who is the bigger lady). I didn't comment at the time but I'm glad you addressed the feminist thing. It was jarring. It's been beyond sad to see women recoil from the label in recent years but your explanation makes perfect sense.
The term has definitely been poisoned. But also when women use that disclaimer, it comes off as "I am not one of those shrill harpies that [want to, uh, secure women's rights as equal to men]." Basically "I'm not like those other girls!" energy. It's often a "pick me" mentality. Glad to see that's not the case here.
Right?
I did comment. And have now commented to thank them for explaining. It makes me sad that she is in that rock and hard place.
All tyrells have best comebacks😂😂😂
Be careful with reading the comments as there's always some idiot in the comments section. I've seen it in others before spoil it for other people who have reacted to game of thrones.
But carry on with this because you guys are awesome to watch reacting :)
Absolutely love the Inuyasha jumper 😍 thats so cute!! You guys are my fav 💕
Crazy consistency
Believe it or not, it actually IS very difficult to wipe using your non-dominant hand. 😜
Joffery dies.
Tywin: oh, thank God.
Don’t worry ab what ppl say. Just ignore them. Feminism isn’t what it used to be and labels are one extreme to the next. Let’s stick to reactions and enjoy them without ppl in their feelings wanting to be offended by something. When you address it, you give them the attention they’re seeking wether it’s good or bad. Love you guys and all your wacky convos.
