Jack Gleason did NOT get bullied out of the business. That is misinformation that spread after the show aired, generally by people who did not watch the show when the show first aired. Jack Gleason had no bad experiences and was not bullied while he was on the show. Fans LOVED to hate Joffrey and were able to separate the character from the actor and give praise to the actor. He quit acting because he wanted to be a humanitarian and help people and devote his time to doing that. He was a young guy who valued his education and didn’t see himself as an career industry actor. He gave ab interview and explained this after his characters death. That being said, he got married not too long ago and recently came back to act for one role and so it’s possible we may see more of him. Jack Gleason also gave an interview more recently where he touched on the weird rumors about him being bullied and said that wasn’t true and that he’s had not one bad interaction and has had nothing but lovely interactions with fans. The dude is known for being a great guy in real life and really nice.
They really did a great job of making Joffrey's death extra satisfying. He was so f**king obnoxious in this episode. As someone who loves Tyrion, it was really hard to watch him be humiliated like that. And of course, I felt for Sansa as well.
🏆 *Jack Gleason* as Geoffrey Baratheon is a phenomenal actor! So are *Iwan Rheon* as Ramsay Snow/Bolton and *Alfie Allen* as Theon Greyjoy. It's always easier to act as the hero and good guy but to be convincing as a truly scary baddie or tortured hero is way harder. They should've gotten more accolades and awards!
At this point millions of people jumped to their feet celebrating a child's death. Huge shout out to Jack Gleeson for his portrayal of Joffrey. Phenomenal job, I don't think there was a single person watching it who was not happy about it. Another great episode, great writing and acting, so many great dialogues. Olenna and Tywin, Oberyn and Tywin + Cersei, really great job all around.
I’m glad Jack has got back into acting after a little hiatus. He had a couple of projects last year, I’m looking forward to what he puts out in the future!
The wedding feast is such a good scene for the audience to see each character -Tyrells; Margaery show that she was ambitious but here, she show us that she doesnt enjoy such cruel acts. Several times, she look disgust by Joffrey actions. She even tried several times, break the tensions. Lady Olenna did sympathized with Sansa and she didnt approved Joffrey actions. This shows that Tyrells are ambitious and dubious, but they are not cruel. -Martells; Oberyn show us that he is witty and like a viper (his nickname) played with Tywin and Cersei till reveal his fangs. cornered both in certain places and revealing that Martells didnt forgot what Lannisters did to them. Later, Oberyn and Ellaria are surprised by Joffrey actions and didnt approved any of them -Lannisters; Tywin in the beginning did enjoy the dwarf play, till it become disrespectaful to point that even Lannister house was offended. But what he could do in public? Nothing. Perhaps we was waiting for Margaery to step in, like she did... we could see a releaf in his face, once Margaery broke the tension. He may not like Tyrion, but Joffrey was public shaming House Lannister by attacking one of its members; Tommen was a kid, and innocently he didnt understood how dangerous the play was. Till Tyrion show him a straight face. Cersei was the only one really enjoying the play and Joffrey behaver towards Tyrion. This show us how cruel and ruthless she is. No wonder Joffrey become what he trully was; Joffrey didnt understood any of his actions and behaver or how dangerous it was. He publicaly humiliate almost every big noble houses, and assume he could run clean, because he was the king. He need it to be stopped or else things could get worst. A possible war against the Tyrells could happen, if he mistreated Margaery, He could killed Tyrion or Tywin... there was so many things Joffrey could had done if he was alive. Joffrey was not such a sadist, he also was a tyrant.
The king's sons are his principal heirs in order of seniority, followed by his brothers in order of seniority. Because Joffrey was childless, the next in line is his brother Tommen. The king's wife is not in the line of succession, and their marriage hadn't been consummated anyway.
Stannis's brother in law was attempting to make peace with the Lannisters without checking with Stannis in the book. He was also the hand at this time. Its after the burning that Davis gets the job. Kinda wish they had kept that for the show. Its more satisfying then "he was an infedel."
So many great, small moments/interactions between characters at the wedding.. ..though it is Mace Tyrell who has the most interesting storyline..lol If I was an actor during that wedding sequence, there is no way I'd be able to keep a straight face through it all.. The band that Joffrey throws coins at while Margery is intently listening, is an amazing Icelandic band called Sigur ros, for those who didn't know.. They do the version of "The Rains of Castamere" that is heard in the end credits.. XO
I just watched your Prometheus reaction so it’s funny you mentioned in this reaction post that you are having Alien dreams. That movie always freaks me out too. I digress The delivery of “Who’s Tansy?” Then Blake’s audible snicker had me laughing so hard for some reason. And “pigeon” is what Igli heard instead of Pig Shit. 😂 I’m maybe loopy due to lack of sleep but your reaction this week was chock full of laughs for me for the most random reasons. Papa Bolton lettin Ramsay know his place… The head games… I can’t say it’s understandable why Ramsay is the way he is but it makes some sense And the “Yo” “ No one help him” “No one help him” “Let’s goooooo!!!” delivery… That also took me out! Oh and YES Gleason really was such an amazing talent at such a young age. It’s crazy how gifted he is as an actor because in his interviews he seems so genuinely sweet
I watched a video of Jack answering questions at University College Dublin and it was kinda jarring how un-Joffrey like he was, LOL. And I've seen interviews with the cast where they give Joffrey as the character who died that they would bring back, simply because they miss working with Jack.
RIP Joffrey - the most noble child the gods ever put on this good earth ❤
tbh he was a bit annoying sometime.
@@Raminagrobisfr it's treason then

We have the same birthday! Love that dude
He's a very likeable fella. It must've been fun for him to get into character and act like a doosh for a while.
He is coming back to acting. It was announced a few months ago I believe! He was awesome as Joffrey
He made an appearance already in season 4 of sex education.
Cersei : but you love Jaime, don't you ?
Brienne : like a brother
Cersei : ** visible confusion **
😂
I've always thought that would have been the perfect retort. 🤣
@@bill.godwin-austen it's not only about her incestuous relationship with jaime, but also about her hate for Tyrion.

Finally, a wedding we enjoy lol. Margery tried so hard to soften the tension down😂

Great moment. Furthermore when I watch it for the first I did not expect it
34:53 hope that Blake’s partner or roommate in the background and he didn’t just get robbed 😂
I know right that black hoodie hunching over and grabbing stuff up looked sus 😂
It happened in the last reaction. He really needs to lock his door 😂
It would be funny if that roommate wear a Ghost face.
It's his mom 🤣
😂😂❤ thought the same . I’m sure she’s lovely
Blake - your ghostly background apparition is back!!!

I know this is off topic but Blake is such a good looking guy
He’s cute af 😍
Joffery is peak acting
Scream 5 yesterday and *this* episode the day after? You’re spoiling us!❤
They're not witch burnings, they are sacrifices to Lord of Light.😊
You can name D&D - AKA: Dumb & Dumber, that's fine!
omg guy on the left 😅 MIZ
The king 👑 is dead ☠️ ❤😂❤😂. Brilliant actor.
Blake's GF leaving him and taking the dog while he streams his life away is the subplot.
That's his mom 🤣
Joffrey death was well deserved and executed! Ya'll laughing at the end has me weak!
He died of an undiagnosed peanut allergy. 🎉

I recommend you guys to watch the walking dead, its really long and has a lot of up and downs but i think you guys might enjoy it
His name is pronounced Pas-cal, not like a typical qu sound.😊
I think they know, they're just pronouncing it silly for fun 😜
Few of Pedro Pascal fellow actors call him that as a tease.
Really enjoy the reactions. Got is a fun journey...until s8 ep4...
