We never find out the important stuff, like what happened to the two guys who found the car. They need to make Law and Order: Cold Open Stories.
I’ve unironically thought about this before
It’s so clear that especially as the series went on the writers seemed to enjoy finding new ways to do the cold open in a way I honestly don’t think any other procedural series has quite matched
There’s one I constantly think about that opens on a father preparing to commit suicide and begging to talk to his kids before hearing a murder. I wonder if he changed his mind after calling the cops.
One of the guys moved to North Jersey and took over his father’s restaurant. I think his name was Bucco, Artie Bucco.

@@barbarossa1780 You killing me :)
Mike Logan had a great pre intro one liner that they cut. He looks back from the water and says, "East River- I'd rather eat a gun."
Lol
Sarah Paulson makes multiple guest appearances in L&O? So cool!
Did not recognise her - thanks.
@@minsapint8007 Yes, she looks like a baby.
She’s an underrated actress. Love her in every show/movie she’s in
Plus SVU
@@MuzzyBarker They actually used pics of her from this episode in her SVU episode!
This was Sarah Paulson’s on-screen acting debut. This was the beginning of an incredible career for her. Although she has spoken despairingly of her performance here, she is wonderful in this episode.
She is truly amazing actress and a beautiful classy lady too, Sarah Paulson. She was on both law and order plus SVU also. She is such a talented actress from TV and in movies too 👍👍👍👍
She was great in American Horror Story, definitely worth watching
P
Why do they always set this up to be some sort of affair? It’s grooming! People miss use that word all the time, but for god sake’s it’s this!!
Grooming? He does have nice hair. They all do. You sure “grooming” not “woke grooming” “DEI grooming” “sexualization grooming” “Astro Pizza grooming”? Sure pick a side and then avoid this cycle’s word of year and use your own words.
Because back when this episode aired wokeness wasn't a thing.

Ah yes the good old days!
@@salanzaldi4551 The Good Old Days, when you could get DILAUDED prescribed for a backache? YES, PLEASE!!
@@jacksilver9935congratulations on posting this idiotic nonsense.
It’s revealing she’s sleeping with her stepfather like that isn’t still a crime 🥴
Lots of states 16&17 is consensual
It isn't a crime
Not even sad about her mother's death either.
@@threedragonstalk2123it is!
I thought it said she was 14, so that is ick and illegal.
Brisco and Logan...the dynamic duo.
They were the best of all deceives
Artie wouldn’t steal a car. He’s a chef.
Chef Artie Buco was leading a double life as a car thief.
That's how he earned the money to buy the restaurant.
I didn't know Mr. Big was a detective.
No one could do this show like Jerry Orbach and Chris Noth!
For real , I just love them so much , this Law and Order wasn't the same without them. I love Law and Order SVU so much also , best two partnerships in crime TV shows and Ofcourse , Criminal Minds , I watch all of the old shows all the time and now they put Liv and Elliot back together 👋👋👋👋
Maybe she wanted to go with a view of the Bronx! Lenny was one of a kind!
My favorite
Interesting Peter and Jackie Florrick during younger years. The good wife is another excellent legal drama.
I miss Briscoe and Logan.
Maybe she wanted to go with the view of the Bronx🙊😂😂
Ironically Lennie it is Christmas in July time 😂
There are so many people in this episode! Sarah Paulson, Jeffrey Dean Anderson, Grams from Dawson's Creek!
SVU also has an amazing list of guest stars.
Didn't know Artie Buco was a car thief back in the day
Sarah Paulson fantastic actress.
Great episode and Sarah Paulson killed it.
that’s Artie. He went on to a great career as restaurant owner and chef to the NJ Mafia.
Tony Soprano is going to be upset with Artie for trying to steal the car.
It’s amusing seeing the now well-known actors doing bit parts in the old episodes. So young. Christine Baranski was in one I saw recently; same voice but looked like a college kid.
Yo good wife moment, it's the governor and his mom. 😂
They saw everything at this point, Why they didn't have a better pay?
Love me some Sarah Paulson! 💕💕💕💕
Wish they had these Law and Order on prime with Chris North in them.
So close on the title: Detectives Discover Dead Dames Daughter Doing Daddy Dearest
If she was a minor, it is a crime, not an affair
Thank you, Clarence Fkn Darrow.
The episode came out in the 90s. Laws that were created/altered dont go into effect until the senate voted it, so you crime was consider a crime until like 06ish give or take
If she was 16 that’s the age of consent through out most of the states in the United States
@captainprice9683 i believe they said she was 17
I guess this is a 3 part video. Yesterday I saw the part right after this, and today I come upon this one somehow. I never knew that they were breaking them down into parts. I was just getting aggravated because I felt like it never gave us a conclusion. Who knew there was more than one video. Sure would be nice if they put part 1, part 2…
… just watch the show.
Season 5 Ep.4
Sadly, I live in the middle of 50,000 acres of Michigan pines. We can't afford to buy every streaming service on social security.
Isn't this the one where they brought in another 'gf' to get a confession or open some eyes?
She was in the movie "Serenity" too..
Love seeing a young sarah Paulson! ❤
That Dr is violating HIPAA disclosing what she did to Brisco and Logan.
Hipaa became a thing in 1997. This might be filmed before hipaa.
@@merlinshouseoffreereadings4641 of course. I forgot when this episode was filmed. Ty.
@@merlinshouseoffreereadings4641 this came out in 1994
Doesn't death remove that issue it just normal doctor patient common law?
@@julesmasseffectmusic I’m not sure.
Okay. Call me crazy, but is that woman the same lady that plays Chris Noth's mother in 'The Good Wife'? Are these two in the same episode? Wow!
Artie from the Sopranos ❤
That is just fkin mental...that's your step father
What is even more mental is "that is your step daughter"
Good Morning Salim....Thanks NYPD
No. 4!
2:08 we're in the mini mall
I see some horror stories and stardom in this one’s future
haha is that Artie Buco? Friend of tony Soprano at the start the guy with the jean Jacket
Oh snap she has several appearances in l&o thats dope
All of the greats started on SVU. Sarah Paulson was just a baby here
This isn’t Law & Order: SVU though. It’s the first series which is why it’s Briscoe and Logan who are investigating the case, not Benson and Stabler. But, yes, a lot of the greats started on the L&O franchise.
Stop advertising episode we can't watch on Peacock!! Only like the latest five seasons are even available!!
Heh heh heh heh 😂
HEH HEH HEHEHE HEH 😆
The psychiatrist is Gran from Dawson’s Creek!

Feelin' Groovy?
Sarah Paulson in her first acting role as Maggie.
I nees to watch these shows from the start instead of these clips. Lol
Love Lenny
Artie before the restaurant.
I was looking for this comment 😂
Sarah Paulson hooked up with Charlie’s Mom, Holland Taylor. Of course she is crazy.
I kind of wish Sarah Paulson had appeared in Criminal Intent, Trial By Jury, Los Angeles, and Organized Crime, as well as Homicide: Life on the Street, just to have her appearing in almost everything L&O based.
Artie Bucco!
So this is where Artie Buco’s life of crime began!
It all started when she got stuck in a washing machine
What year was this?
8:45 the queen of the FBI
I don't get it
17 year old looks like shes 40
Is that Joe Rogan as thief #2 ?
