Zermatt was misty and rainy when I arrived from Brig, bit I thought I would chance the Gornergratt train. Just above the treeline suddenly the mist disappeared, and there - in snowy majesty - was Matterhorn. I was just awestruck. The rest of the climb was in clear weather, too, though -3C. After lunch, the light was different as we returned, to be shrouded once more in sleety drizzle in Zermatt. The contrasts made a great trip truly memorable. Thanks, lorirocks for whisking me back 20 years.

Beautiful views, wow. But the video itself is nauseating. That angle and sideways motion... brrr. I was able to watch it in 5 minute segments with long pauses between, because I got motion sickness.

Őбидно, такая большая страна Россия 🇷🇺 (такая "Великая Держава", кормящая чуть ли не всю Европу, как нам говорят по росТВ) и тут ...полный игнор! Кстати, думаю, туристов "from Russia" немало приезжает в Швейцарию (те же "олигаркишы" там кишмя кишат), но, увы, по-русски никто ничего в объявлениях не говорит и нигде ничего на этом языке не пишет (хотя, предполагаю, "в общественных [швейцарских] туалетах есть надписи на русском языке"©)))))
