You mean that Vinhetro guy???
Yes
Ahh yes hes like a pianist but a guitarist 😌
Imagine being a gladiator and you walk into an arena expecting to die a horrible death, and then some dude plays this song: 4:18
Hillarious
Nice Sense of Humour 🤣
You enter the arena, squinting to see from the sudden change in light. The music begins to play, you ready your weapons as your eyes begin to adjust. And then you get hit by a pie in the face from a man on a tiny unicycle
Ok when the composers name popped up I literally thought his name said Julius Fučkik

Thank you
I also I heard these classical music I've heard from Tom and Jerry, Lone ranger, and other movies/TV shows used classical music that we heard and don't know the names.
That takes me back to listen them again and learn this on piano and guitar.
Retweet
Dang little Einsteins.... completely forgot about that show 😂
YES SAME THE FIRST WAS LIKE “WE’RE OFF TO SEE THE KITE PARADE” AND VIVALDI WAS LIKE “ITS SPRING TIME”
AA YES I remember that Halloween episode with Hall of the Mountain king!!!
4:19 “ah, the carnival song” *Entrance of the Gladiators* *Immediately imagines Spartacus entering an arena with this song blasting* “...what a fitting title for the song...”
In some way acrobats entering the circus arena isn't that far off from gladiators entering the arena of entertaining death
I like the one that goes da da da do do doooo
Haha or almost oh blah di blah day, Beatles.
Or conversation with Ozzy Osbourne
I personally prefer the ons that goes like do da do da do da do da. U know, it starts wirth "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing" ;)

hey lucas! i live in portugal and im 13 y.o. I've wanted to play guitar since i was seven but my parents never cared about that because they thought it was just a phase. I started watching your vids a few time ago and showed them to my parents and they finally see how beautiful the guitar is and are buying me one. Ur my biggest inspiration keep the good work man :)
EDIT: It arrived! Finally :))
best of luck with guitar!
Hey! Really glad to hear that!! Good luck with the guitar!
Boa sorte nisso, Beatriz! Comecei com essa idade, com dedicação e esforço chegas lá!
Happy for you. Just keep at it. Luckily you do not have to start only as an adult (father also did not care for music)
Wow awesome
I couldn't care less about the songs. It was the fact that this guy was playing the freaking circus song on a GUITAR that got my like. Good job man
Fun fact: a lot of people (including me for a long time) think that #6 is called "air on the G string". This is technically incorrect. Bach's original piece makes no reference to the G string. However, a later composer, August Wilhelmj, rearranged Bach's piece and in doing so transposed it down a tone, from D to C. This made it possible to play the whole first violin part on the G string and since Wilhelmj liked the sound of this, he wrote an instructional note at the top of the sheet music saying "on the G string", which later gave his arrangement that nickname.
@@RobPires WHY?
@@RobPires Oh I see.
Ahh. But then shouldn’t you be able to call it “Air on the G string” Wilhelmj or Air by Bach (Rearranged by Wilhelmj on the G string). Because since Bach didn’t use the G String. It makes sense not to include the G string. But if you’re playing Wilhelmj’s rearrangement which does infact contain the G String then it’s worth mentioning the G string or else others might now know that the G string must be used.
@@Imm23743 oh
Just here to say again that your playing is absolutely amazing.
Thank you very much!
I love these songs, I still don't know know their names, but I'm happy to hear them again. Thanks man

I'm I the only one that is suffering with the fact that he called them all songs instead of pieces? Good job btw
Yes
During "in the hall of the mountain king" I very confidently announced "that's the tetris theme!!" hahaha shows how long it's been since I've played tetris
Really? I recognize it as the Inspector Gadget theme.
Everyone: Oh wow these *SONGS* are great!
Musicians: *_TRIGGERED_* THEY ARE CALLED PIECES!!!
Me being a classically trained musician and forgetting like half these pieces exist AHAHAHHAHA
damn i never thought i would find the name of the song "Air"

Omg the circus song is called “entrance of the gladiators”?? That sounds like the gladiators would be clowns, that song doesn’t sound like gladiators at all!
Me a fan of classical music who knew most of these: 😏
lol God bless you btw :" ) He loves and cares deeply for you and anyone else who might be reading this
Are you maybe a ling ling wannabe also?👀

I know all of them.
i also know most of them
Anyone else randomly get this in their recommend but was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful his playing was?
🙋🏻♀️
Who else clicked on this thinking “ah I’ll probably know 8 or 9 out of 10” but actually got none
I got 2 of it, becuse i was in a class of classic dance XD
This was a good refresher. I’m a classical pianist and even I forgot the names to some of these😅
4:50 That Nokia ringtone haha. Glad to know it's from a Classical guitar piece
I didn't know that the circus song had such a badass name
Puddin pops ; )
I mean, circus is a badass thing. Back in the day i mean. Waaaaay back in the gladiator era.
It's like "Orpheus in the Underworld" by Jacques Offenbach, the Finale of it is known as Can-Can.
This classical music just made my morning. Reminds me of playing in orchestra when I was younger.
Omg you are so good! Thank you for this beautiful music!!!
Thanks for listening!!
Your fingerstyle is so beautiful i hope someday i can be like you!
always love your fingerstyle guitar video brother keep it up!
From Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭...
Me: *knows the name of the first song* “Pffft. Easy”
Reply: “But aren’t you Norwegian?”
Me: ...
...yes
I do think it’s a very famous song if one’s interested in classical music, at least I knew it aswell. It’s beautiful.
Other than that, I only recognized the German pieces... Guess where I’m from? 😂
@@emdove 👉😎👉
Wonderful songs, brought back many memories from when I was in orchestra, keep playing theses kinds of songs, please make a part 2
3:38 this only makes me think of Mr Burn’s office in level 1 of the Simpsons hit and run
3:52 Actually that’s named, “Spring,” one of the Four Seasons that Vivaldi made...
Where can I find the music sheet for "entrance of the gladiators" ? It's your arrangement?
These were so soothing to hear you play i dont know why. Youre very talented 😌👏
Hey did y’all hear about Dawn’s “powerwash” dish spray? I did too.
I really like how these videos can help introduce more people to classical music, in fact these videos were also one of the reasons I got into classical music
I'd been searching for the 'Minuetto" for so long
Your playing is beautiful to watch 🥺
I either knew the names or hadn't heard the song :) am happy
(I no people dont care but um proud of myself)
Also, can we appreciate how talented this guy is??!!
I'm glad I knew some of them, but I'm just here to hear you play! Genuinely moving. Great job!
Lucas, what is that on the neck of your guitar at 1:10 near the seventh fret? Is it for a strap? I've seen a similar position recommended for classical guitarists but I've never noticed it on your guitar before.
its for more swag
I think that's his guide/marker
What a lovely insight into Lucas’ wedding reception repertoire.
No one:
The hall of the mountain king: oh that’s from that game I used to play... oh yeah blockheads.
unnecessary “no one” but ok.
I just know it from having to play it in school on some crappy sounding percussion instruments.
damn, I loved that game......
I hear that song from pirates of the Caribbean, rat race and many films
It was also in a TON of Looney Tunes cartoons
Omg that last one killed me. Dude, this was so amazing! The precision in which you play those notes. Sounds like two guitars at once at times. Such an inspiring video. Thanks for sharing. You've come a long way since only being able to play Wonderwall. 😅
I like how he picked up the wrong text font for Fučík :D
whoa this video was perfect! Awesome performance, awesome choice of pieces and awesome editing!!
Ahah love the last one! 😂😂
5/10 not that bad for a non-musician.
Very nice guitar work. And nice camera work. Kudos!
Its like listening to that one anime op, but in japanese title
Knew all of them. Yet still tremendous playing. Gosh, that Fuĉik's piece is so impressive technically... You're great
But the scary part is that I genuinely cannot remember how I know them...
Same lol
The most underrated guitarist. You deserve millions of subs. Keep up my idol..
Who else wants to see Lucas do a full performance of Gran Vals?
Fantastic playing! Bravo!
Awesome reupload!
Once gain we can retitle this as “songs you don’t know if you aren’t classical musician”
the first one randomly gets stuck in my head at times and i didn’t know the name till now but i don’t remember where i heard it either

It’s insane how popular opera and classical music and stuff used to be that those songs can be so well known even if we don’t know their actual origins usually.
If its a reupload then i just watched it again.
But i dont care cause it sounds too nice... to not watch it for the sixth time or so :)
I'm very surprised I actually knew some of those. Great guitar playing 😊 makes me wanna pick up mine and practice for hours
One of the most underated guitarist on UA-cam
trained in classical piano as a child, was able to accurately guess most of the names before the the title popped up. but all of these were so fun to hear on the guitar over the soft hammers
I think it’s hilarious that a song associated with the circus is called Entrance of the Gladiators! 😂
EXCELLEEEEEEEEEEEEENT job my friend, keep on rocking
U are fav of me and my teacher😂❤️
Glad to hear that. Say hello from me!
The 1st one I know very well. One of my favourite bands covered this classical masterpiece and made it more metal, if anyone is curious it's called Hall of the Mountain King by Apocalyptica.
It is interesting hearing it on a guitar.
I could tell u then names of the songs but I don’t know them
Playing piano, electric and classic guitar sure helped in life I could name pretty much all of them
Number 9 is titled incorrectly. The name of the song is “rot dot dada dada dada circus.”
This is really interesting, even if I forget this information immediately, but also you're Amazing!
