I've seen some great products here but I'm planning on supporting you by buying the 4 bar array as I think you deserve it for how much you support your competitors and are fair and transparent about everything.
I’ve sworn by CMH until recently buying a Zeus 600w Pro. However, I still have to use CMH over winter with the Zeus as it’s in an attic and need the extra IR heat. I think for the summer I’ll swap out the CMH’s for the Array though.
LEDs have been legit for about two years now imo. Hard to go wrong with any brand that is remotely reputable. Just know there will be a newer better light every 6 months. We have not reached the maximum efficiency levels so this will be a thing for a few more years...
In my grow shop (not my own business, the one I use!) they have ceramic hps lights in there now which screw straight into an existing hps fixture - anyone know anything about them at all? Very interesting, what do you think about using UVB and for how long at the end of flower and how long per day, do you think this will increase terpenes?
Hi. UVB treatment for a few hours per day in the last 4 weeks of flowering is reported to increase potency. However effectiveness seems to vary, strain to strain. Please see a video I released on CBD production in the UK about a year ago. I report findings from a major grower in the UK of industrial hemp.
4:15 Looking at the par chart I am curious why the par on the left and lower left drops off so much versus the top and right. I understand the middle hot spot is due to overlap from the neighboring bars. However, it seems to me the par on the top would match the bottom and the left and right numbers would match. Have you ever rearranged the light bars on a light like this to see if you can get a better par reading? I know nothing about electrical wiring so it wouldn't surprise me if there is a simple explanation.
@@MIGROLIGHT I knew there had to be a simple explanation, thanks. I am beginning to think a par meter is a must if you are using the latest generation of LED lights.
on all the lights the problem of the central hot spot remains ... I think having 1000 ppf on the sides as in the center of the canopy is essential ... the distribution of light is essential ... having 1400 central and 700 on the sides is not good at all well

Photontek and Lumatek are the same company i believe, they seem like one of the most reliable brands. They have a 5 year warranty on their lights. Spider Farmer gives 3 months free warranty. For 1 year warranty you pay for shipping. After 1 year you pay other things as well, like 2-way shipping and components. Just like Mars Hydro with their low warranty. They are not reliable at all! I also think they send you components that you pay for, and then you have to fix the light yourself. Chinese lights are not reliable, as well as their customer service. I think Photontek and Lumatek are not made in China, but even if they are, they should be a good quality, a higher grade than other Chinese lights.
