So Jobby, about the Riku Tryon not plugging into the Umi Tryon problem, you can take out the arms of Umi Tryon to see the how the pegs should peg into the main body. It's easier to see how it's supposed to plug in if you check it from the side.

The first one focus specifically focus on the toy collecting and model kit building aspect of the Gundam franchise. It really is the Gundam series for the toy only fans and celebrating the franchise as a whole. Other than that, it's also just a fun and chill show. But yeah after the first one the rest of the series took a downhill after Divers.
The lion, the bird and the ray forms feels a bit forced because in-story it's literally a customized model made by a highschooler out of his love for the Super-Robot genre. So I wouldn't treat those separated forms too harshly but that's just me 🙂

Downhill after Divers? I loved Build Fighters, but I was already super disappointed by Try personally.
