I have this tank and purchased it about 6 months ago. Much nicer having more distance until empty.
David S have any issues below 1/4 tank with hard starting? Any issue filling the tank to full capacity?
Charles Casto Yes. If you're under 1/4 you might have issues restarting. If you're on an incline, like my driveway, that exacerbates the issue. From what people have said they've run pretty far after the DTE runs to "0", although I won't try it. Most I've filled up it's 38 gallons
David S so you can get a full 50 in the tank you just don't run it very low. Correct?
Charles Casto Yes. I initially filled it with roughly 12 gallons after install, drove to the gas station, and filled up with 38 gallons
I've got one of these tanks and yes, I have run out of fuel twice when it's says 1/4 of a tank and I only put in 34 gallons. WTF?
Called Titan tanks and they said it was a 'low pressure fuel pump' problem. I had the pump replaced and guess what? It ran out of fuel at 1/4 of a tank again.
Now what?!
Seeing the video peaked my interest, but after researching about the complaints I think I’ll stick to my original tank.
I have the 17 XD. Installed this tank at 5,000. miles. Love the extra distance, hate the breather. It leaks! Can't top my tank off or I lose a gallon or two all over the driveway! Also, even with a full tank my distance Guage shows about 280 miles till empty. Last trip I took was around 820 miles till empty.
You have to re tighten the bolts
I was just about to buy one for my 2019 XD till I read the complaints. Have they fixed the issues yet?

Darn...that's a definitely a nice upgrade. Towing a heavy trailer would suck down 26 gallons pretty quickly.
Nice idea but going by the comments it would seem that they have issues to work out, might be easier to just live with the stock tank.
Yup, or add an extra 30 gal tank in the bed with a pump.
Have a solution yet for the inability to use the full 50gal?

I for sure need this on my titan xd. the 26gallon is way too small.
Why would Nissan use such a small tank in the first place?

It says right on it diesel only. I was disappointed. My XD is gas.

Yea they made this tank because the truck sucks gas like theres no tomorrow.
