    ** Scenario lore **
"The Order of the Ancestor Moth (or the Cult of the Moth) is a mysterious organization, the very existence of which is often doubted. The cult’s main task is to seek, protect, and study ancient artifacts of the Archotech, which, according to legends, possess incredible power capable of destroying or restoring entire worlds.
Members devote their entire lives to serving the goals of the Order. They renounce all connections with the outside world and spend all their time in meditation, study and physical training. The most successful acolytes in the study of the arcane arts acquire the ability to “read” ancient artifacts, revealing their true nature and shedding light on events of the past and future. But in gaining the True Vision, they lose the ability to see the physical world and remain blind for the rest of their days, for such is the price of Knowledge. Blinded during the study of the artifact, the members of the Order are revered as nobles.
The Order primarily relies on close combat weapons and high-tech gadgets in battle, as well as harnessing psionic abilities to gain an advantage over their enemies. Powerful psionics of the Cult feed their powers from natural sources through long meditations.
Cult members use combat stimulants to fight outnumbered enemies. The monks produce advanced battle serums on their own. The surplus herbs cultivated within the walls of the Order’s temples are often sold to locals in exchange for vital information or supplies. Additionally, the monks craft various works of art for sale. The Order rarely involves itself in political disputes and prefers to remain solitary."
"Only our order is able to read the Artifacts. All that is known of them comes from our augurs, whose readings are rewarded with flashes of insight into the Archotech's prophecies. Each reading exacts a price, eventually rendering the augur blind."
    ** A few notes **
WARNING: machine translation ahead. Sorry. :)
So the idea of this walkthrough was to try to create a colony of completely blind pawns relying mainly on melee combat and explosives. It was assumed that the colony would be located in an open area, have several entrances and generally have a more “realistic village” layout. I already knew that blindness imposes strong debuffs, so for the sake of balancing, I decided to make the pawns dependent on go-juice and will give them as many psionic abilities as possible. That is why I chose to start as a tribe in order to connect to the anima tree. But as soon as I started playing, I realized that I was very mistaken in the strength of the blindness debuffs.
Pawns become 50% less effective at everything while completely blind, and wounds patch speed are reduced by 80%. Pawns are also much more likely to break things during construction and miss a lot in battle. By the time I realized this, I had already built the foundation for the future colony, so it was too late to start over. So I decided to change my tactics a little.
I left only one entrance to the colony to create a “bottle neck” for melee pawns to slightly increase the effectiveness of the fighting. Then I rethought the lore and decided that only the “chosen” pawns would be completely blind, and the settlement’s doctors and sone warriors, on the contrary, would be augmented in every possible way. I also created several “hunters” who were given shotguns and rifles for hunting and especially difficult situations when melee combat is not possible. Then everything went as planned. Melee pawns in good armor + go-juice = unkillable destruction machines, even without eyes.

The layout is gorgeous how it transforms from a walled community to a self contained megastructure

Yep, the Order of the Ancestor Moth is from The Elder Scrolls lore. These are those blind monk dudes who can read the elder scrolls. In Skyrim, one of the members of the Moth cult helps us read the ancient scroll in the Dawnguard DLC. :)
