Iceland - crossing river Hvanná (ext'd)

After heavy rain, the river had completely changed and we tried to safely leave Thorsmörk, accompanied by the camp site warden, the bus and two other Defenders - thanks guys!
The first significant ford was the Hvanná ("Kwennau").

Thanks. With help from local experts :-) The next ford, Steinholtsa, was a bit easier but nevertheless fatal for a young woman :-(

@@frank-lr The rivers in Þórsmörk, are not to be joked about. They have taken quite some lives so far. And killed a bunch of cars.
Loose bottom, very strong current. The trick is to let the current kind of push you over.
