+Pravus Gaming Hi there Pravus and everyone that reads this, and a BIG thank you for this playthrough. Well, the description says what u asked about. This is a quote from the TL:DR section, which is right there in the description: TL;DR USE: ''Patho Stasis'' DO NOT USE: ''Base Hydrolysis'' WHEN EVERYONE IS INFECTED: DEVOLVE TRANSMISSIONS FOR EXTRA DNA, Also, you might have noticed beeing stealthy is not really working with my plague, the deal is to get people to realize there is an more agressive way to do things. Severety adds more DNA, aside from making your illness visible. And about the antivirus, I heard that complaint a lot, but think, theoretically it is possible to program a virus to attack cells of any lifeform, so yes one could attack a bacterium with a virus and call it antivirus ;D Also the Stem/Branch errors are errors from my brain trying to translate german into english. It's complex ;D . Funny is, I just released a new version this morning which should fix some issues... oh and one final thing; the creation kit from ndemic only lets one do so much, so that is the main reason for the workarounds for the information traits. They are the reason why I recommend using Patho Stasis. Whew, anyways it has been a pleasure to watch this. If you are okay withz me putting your video in the mod descriptio0n to the others, I will certainly do so. Now if you'll excuse me I still have to watch your Democracy 3 Playthrough with US and Canada. :D Thanks for the Great content you produce, I really hope you make it to the very Top, like TB or that swedish dude I really avoid to subscribe.
+NoVeXX Ahh, the patho-stasis would make sense. I figured there might be some restrictions as far as setting the cost of individual abilities, but I'm not sure if there's a way to program the scenario to give certain popups once you get a specific trait? If so, you could give those tutorials when they first pick their insect type. Then again, I'm sure some people would then whine about "too many popups," so who knows. So what was the deal with sweating symptoms not showing any stat changes? Was that a bug? Either way, big props to you for creating such an immensely complex scenario. I played it a couple more times off-camera trying to get the bug option to work. Pretty tough. :) And of course you are welcome to link this video in your mod description. Best of luck in your future endeavors!
+Pravus Gaming Okay since you ARE reading comments, lets see if I can clarify some things you noticed while playing. 1. Most of the spelling errors are due to words that are similar in german, which is my native language, and english. for example salivia is the same word in german, exept without the i. Some otheres are intentional because there are 30/150/250etc.. characters limits in place. The missing E in Extremely is such a case. but in todays update I added the E and killed the space before the bracket. 2. The inner ear is an organ of itself inside your ear which holds some tiny amount of liquid. You can only keep balance because of that. Tempering with the inner ear will actually cause giddiness. ;D 3. Itching, shivering and sweating were initially symptoms for the sole purpose to highten severety. Since stealth is not an option in that scenario I figured that people would like to get more severety to get more DNA and Cure Resist. But people avoided these symptoms and critisized them beeing there at all. So I cut the severety from them but forgot to add an substitute. 4. One can not disable the fact that costs go up for traits in the Editor. So ya, I had to make due with workaraounds. 5. I am releasing an update in about an hour (v.1.4), which will correct most of the issues you pointed out. 6. Chitin. The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind. Chitin Armor. I had to look it up back then, now I know the word ;D 7. Waiting for popups, these are triggered by ingame days. The are also limited by a few days, that is what makes the delay between them, sorry. No workaround. 8. The informatin traits are new to clear up confusion. Guess this scenario got pretty complex in the end. 9. In the version that i released on April 4th i actually fixed some (not all) of the problems you were pointing out, including the symptoms of the more complex insects are cheaper than the ones of the early insects. 10. I know technically spiders are no insects, they are Arthropoda, which makes them like siblings of insect but, oh wellIt's such a nice cruel thing, i couldn't resist. Phew I hope that covers everything. I wanted to ask you something in the end, could you, when you review the mods add a link to the modpage (in general not only my mod) in the future. I am adding your channel and everything in my description, and I think it would be fair to all the modauthors out there to do so. :D Not a critiqe just a note. Thanks for playing (again) and best of luck in your future endeavors as well!
Looks like the creator of the cenario speaks German or some germanic language. Stem instead of strain would be correct in German. Chitin is the same btw and this probably holds up for most European languages since it's more of a technical term.
