- Students, parents and activists gathered outside Tennessee’s State Capitol to protest gun violence. Gun reform protests have occurred nationwide following the shooting at Covenant School in Nashville where six were killed. Inside the Capitol, a House Session occurred to determine if three Tennessee Democratic representatives will be expelled for participating in gun control protests. Inside Edition Digital has more.
We protect judges, politicians, stadiums, airports, banks, celebrities, and athletes with guns.
We protect schools with “gun free zones”…..then call a guy with a gun when help is needed. 🤦♂️

Thanks for saying this because for some odd reason the MSM/big tech and "certain" politicians never mention or allow that very important point to be brought up when going on there tirades about "gun violence" from this shooting. Yet those same people along with the politicians screaming for gun bans all have armed security.
Fun Fact, a classmate called the terror hotline and the police before that crazed duck shot children...they did nothing to deter it.

Schools shouldn’t have to become bunkers. Elementary school is honestly the most innocent phase of life. There is no reason why little kids should have to go through so much trouble just to struggle to solve a problem that’s not even theirs.
More access to mental health services would help identify people with issues who shouldn't have access to firearms of any kind.

The phrase "well-regulated" is an idiom that means something like "working as expected, calibrated correctly, normal, regular".

I used to work in the school system in North Carolina and every school I worked in had at least 1 security guard. Some had 2 and they were sheriff deputies so you knew they had no qualms about stopping shooters.
and what happened? Let me guess. No shootings?
Same with the schools in my home county, always a deputy on property. Plus hunting season, there were probably 50 to 100 guns on campus at any given time. Still no shootings

Other countries with strict gun laws like Japan,UK, ect have seen much lower gun deaths than the us.

But it somewhat did change but not in a form of a gun law. Ever since the Parkland school shooting Florida made mass shooting threats illegal and so far they haven't had another notable school shooting. Because of that state law it allow law enforcement to intervene latent school shooters before the trigger was ever pulled. It probably won't stop all mass shooters but it barely works against school shooters.

The problem is that literally anyone can get guns. Even mentally unstable people. There should be heavy restrictions around weapons even for people with a clean record or ne mental health issues.
Almost every shooter of recent has been able to access a firearm the legal way. Want to fix things? Focus on mental health and not taking people's right to defend themselves
