Natchez is my hometown. Everybody knows of the Keyhole House, of course, but not many have seen the inside until now. Thanks for the peek inside. Just as a quick side note for everybody out there in case you are having trouble, Natchez's correct pronunciation rhymes with "matches".
I love that you show homes like this, as well as teaching us what the designs are, and the date that they originate. This is a beautiful home and I can't even imagine living in this wonderful showcase of an older home. What luxury to me. Thank you Laine. Plus, your narration is very professional and easy to listen to, along with Kevin doing the video. Very nicely done!!!!!! Oh yeah, the music is perfect! I had to watch it twice!
Does anyone remember the show “If Walls Could Talk?” ….When they talk about the items found in the houses they are restoring and you learn all about the family who used to live there. This channel reminds me of that show… It gives me chills thinking about the memories these homes contain. Thank you for the time, blood, sweat, and tears into giving life back to these old homes.
This House is so cute. Like a Dollhouse. 😍 I love Victorian Homes, i wish i lived in a House like this. Houses like this but build with Bricks, called in German, Villa. Lovely greetings from Germany.
Miss a place I restored in Philadelphia. Long time ago. Know the upkeep. But this is a treasure for which I thank you for our visit. Partial to attics or uppermost floors myself.
Can’t help but to wander how much land and woods were with it and how different the landscape was when first built before it started getting surrounded by others.
What amazing home. The fireplace mantels & the tiles are a WOW! Have to say, the kitchen is nice with that great old stove but it stll needs some kind of refreshment! Thanks for showing us that amazing home.
Fabulous home…I’ve been to the historical home tour in Naches Mississippi several times but this home was not featured either time I’m so glad to have seen the inside of this one..Thank you for these tours..I have no doubt this lovely home will sell after this tour..You really are multi talented…
I've been to Natchez once on a retreat with my sisters and mom, headed to Biloxi. I just had to stop in Natchez on the way from West Tennessee. I loved all the homes that have been lovingly restored. My favorite place was the old cemetery. I need to make another trip to visit there for a week or 2, not just over night. Beautiful home there you showed.
We had a turn of the century with beveled leaded cut glass pocket doors. It was amazing when the light reflected through it. You could see it from the street as it beautifully shined through the big picture window in the living room.
That was a absolutely beautiful home. All the details shows such great craftsmanship. It’s wonderful to see that it’s pretty much up to it’s original design n no one changed it. I’m just so overwhelmed of all the fireplaces n still in its original state. I’m just drooling over this house. Love it! ♥️😊👍
That is an absolutely exquisite house. It has modern updates where needed that in no way detract from the period detail of the home. Laine and Kevin, excellent and professional presentation. 👍 👍
Natchez is so we'll known for it's vast collection of Greek Revival masterpieces that few know of the tremendous number of extraordinary Victorians. Glen Auburn may be the finest Second Empire mansion in The South. The Towers, while a bit earlier is exceptional. Ravennaside is stunning. There are entire crepe myrtle and azalea lined streets filled with turreted houses that tourist never see. Thanks y'all!
What an amazing and beautiful home! The prices of these wonderful homes in the South are so much more reasonable than here in the Boise area. This house in Boise would probably go for around 2 million!
At first it's almost sensory overload, but then you see how it all works together. The house has been made fully functional for the 21st century while preserving the exquisite Queen Anne style and craftsmanship.
All I got to say is wow what a gorgeous beautiful house that is seeing stuff like that makes me realize why you guys are so passionate about what you do if there were more people like you in this country there'd be more gems to see like the one you showed here thank you very much keep up the good work bless you guys 😀❤️
It's so rare that homeowners invest wisely in their homes, but this home owner did. The roof, not living up to the fad of the time, the period bath, and somewhat period kitchen is nice to see!
Very high quality, professional video! Beautiful job! The house is pristine and I love the area! Thanks for the tour! (But, no need to get dirty here… 😭)
Wow! What another wonderful video of a Grande Damme. And along with the beautiful video comes an education about period style and style influences. Thank you.
I’m only 3 min. in and its just such an amazing home! My goodness, at 1.30 min in, I was ready to buyit myself, wow...too cool! What a unique treasure!!! 👍❤️🥰 Thank you for sharing your Miss. experience!! 👌🏾😁🌺
Love a Chambers range! We had a monster of an old Chambers range growing up, it had 6 burners, a well, a griddle, double ovens and separate warming drawers.
Not really my style either. My smaller less ornate 1906 has charming details. I liked seeing this house; they’re all fascinating. There were so many ways people personalized their homes. Thank you again for a lovely video.
I loved this house so much! Now that being said... the dolls in the house were beautiful...until you got to the guest section of the house and walked into the bathroom 😳. I'm not weirded out by dolls but I might start to if I am in the bathroom while they are having a tea party staring at me 🤣
Soon as I saw that kitchen stove I knew it was a Chambers. I used to see them in older rowhomes where I grew up in Baltimore. My aunt also had a newer model Chambers in her home. Everything in most Victorian homes is very ornate and artistic as well as being functional. Newer homes are quite functional but fairly simple in their interior and exterior design....rarely ornate or artistic.
So much bigger on the inside than it would seem from the outside, and every room beautiful, too

We were actually on that show YEARS ago!
@@OurRestorationNation No wonder why I love you guys so much! I’ll have to see if I can find that show somewhere - I loved watching it with my mom.
This House is so cute. Like a Dollhouse. 😍 I love Victorian Homes, i wish i lived in a House like this. Houses like this but build with Bricks, called in German, Villa. Lovely greetings from Germany.
Love that all the woodwork has been untouched, gorgeous!!
I wanted to touch it! It looks so silky smooth...
What a gorgeous home . Oozing with charm and personality. Yes houses can have a personality! Under a million...what a steal.
I am amazed this isn't selling for over 1 million. Honestly a steal.. for those who are in that budget to begin with! Beautiful home!
Natchez is full of such historic treasures like this. Spent my honeymoon in Natchez and plan to go there for my anniversary. Great post thanks 🇺🇸😀
Thanks for showing us all the details. Even when a house isn’t my favorite style, I always appreciate it more with Laine’s commentary.
Just wow.... I really have no other words. This is an extraordinary house. Absolutely stunning. Wow. I'm lost for words and in awe of its beauty
My grandmother’s house had pocket doors…always loved them.
So gorgeous and amazing. The craftsmanship is something you don’t see anymore. Probably my favorite house you have shown.
Just a joy to go on these house tours. Thank you.

Awww I seen the old wooden highchair against the wall, so cool!
Absolutely gorgeous! Certainly appreciate the proper vernacular and knowledge you have about these homes.
Incredible historic house
Absolutely beautiful. Love the fireplaces.
Absolutely stunning! I love the walk out windows! They have been a new favorite since I have discovered your channel! ❤
I dream of Victorian pocket doors, what a beautiful home.
I love the Chamber’s stove. I grew up cooking on a stove just like that one. From Yazoo City, MS
Absolutely stunning, thank you for letting us view!

The exterior is already so beautiful and inviting!
What a beautiful home. We love Natchez. Thanks for sharing.
Beauty mattered and love of perfection in all they did during the Victorian times.
The Chambers stove was made in Shelbyville, Indiana. These old stoves are treasures and work forever !
That's really beautiful! Love how the house was made .

I love George Barber houses they are all spectacular
I’m pretty sure my house growing up had that same green stripped with design wall paper as in the entry way/up the stairs!
The staircase looks like a long ruffle. Love it! 😍
Beautiful job, Kevin and Laine!!!
Watching from Western Australia ✨🙏✨
