Is Pokemon Mystery Dungeon REALLY That Bad?!

Pokemon's spin-off dungeon-crawling series has never seen a lot of love from critics as the highest-ranked release from it is a whopping 69 (nice). Even with its deeper and darker stories compared to the mainline series, the redundancy sets in quickly for many. With Pokemon Mystery Dungeon being a hot topic, I think it's time to see if the series is truly as bad as it has been reviewed.
