I am not Native First Nations but love to see gatherings of all the various tribes... Love the dancing and beautiful regalia.. Way to go and never forget your heritage and traditions... America is more than the land of macdonald and walmart...
Watching this you should remember that these dances where acted thousands of years ago by the original peoples of america. Me being descendent of the Maya, can only feel proud. We where here ten thousand years ago and we will be here ten thousand years in the future, our children will dance these same dances and remeber the ancient wise of our race.
I always feel like the Creator's Spirit is here when I see these dances and know that we all share in the joy and dedication in each movement.Thank you so much!
Absolutely love this, could watch it over & over. Don't know what it is, this music & dancing just gives me goose bumps. I feel what I can only describe as a shiver running up my spine. I can feel the pride FOR these dancers, that they must feel. The head dress they wear, the feathers, it's the feeling like it's familiar & I want to join in with them. It makes me wish I was of First Nations heritage. If I was, I'd be proud to be, that's for sure.
Mesmerizing, hypnotic and beautiful. A joy to witness "dance in rhythm" to Native American drums and chant. Enough to rival the proud splendour of eagles and elegant attire of peacocks.
(ᏩᏙ'wado) growing up in central Okla and still living in Northeast Oklahoma the traditional/straight dance is my absolute favorite ceremonial dance for 57 years....well until today Jan 17-24, the Apsaalooke Baatawéelissuua brought me to tears, i felt such pride, honor, humbleness and very blessed to witness this. I'm surprised I've never seen the Baatawéelissuua until now, growing for several years as a kid in the Cheyenne Arapaho culture and traveling to countless pow-wows and Sacred Ceremony...the Great Spirit knows the time for blessings. Again (ᏩᏙ,wado) thank you.

G'day I am from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🦘🐨🙂🤠 . I loved watching this. Very talented whoever made their traditional regalia. Must've taken hours to make them, such detail & the headpieces too. Wowwwww & the dancing was just amazing too. Well done all of them. Good job!🙂.
What is better than drugs and alcohol ??? YES , dancing on a POW WOW !!! Im happy to see also young peoples like to save their proud and culture. Amazing video ! Long hair , long life !
I am 100% native american apache of texas and from other native american tribes in north america but i love the crows alot they are good native brothers and sisters
I don't know what it is, but when I'm having an anxiety attack, hearing the drum soothes me and I calm down. I'm not native but I do have native family (grandson and a cousin). And simply hearing the drum transports me away to someplace peaceful when I close my eyes.
It's a heart beat! Naturally soothing. This is of course my opinion. I was raised on a very small reservation. Have had drums and singing for my whole life. It's part of God, earth and sky. It does calm anxiety and tension. A'HO
@Bright Light Well, it's not only MY opinion. Most of us older Indigenous Native North Americans feel the same way. If you were really part of us you would understand. You choose to be rude. Not walk in harmony and beauty. Your choice. Too bad for you. Good thing for me is that your opinion mean's nothing to me!
THESE DANCER, DRUMMERS AND SINGERS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. THANK OUR CREATOR THAT ALL THE NATIVE AMERICAN KEEP THEIR CULTURE, TRADITION, SONGS AND DANCES ALIVE BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU 🌅💛
They look so beautiful. If men can be beautiful. ...they are! 🥰🥰😜😂 but i just love how this makes me feel so happy! So proud to be native American. I could watch them for hours!
По этим танцам можно определить характер народа. Это воины. Поэтому их расстреливали даже безоружных. Боялись их. Зная, что их обманули, отобрав землю на "законных" , капиталистических основаниях.
I agree 100% with you. Dancing in this way is not as easy as people think! It takes dedication and hard work. I love my people too. I am Cherokee and Paiute. A'HO
@@Busa-Girl75 When I was younger I danced every Powwow we went to. I wasn't the best but, it felt so good and magical at the same time. I made my own jingle dresses and was one of the best at that. My ancestors from my mothers side (Puerto Rico) were Taino (Awarak) and are said to be long distant relatives of Natives or something of that nature. Im hispanic white but something deep down inside me is joyous when I hear this....
@Teresa Fernández The Taino/Arawak people have a very strong tribe. You can find them everywhere! California and Arizona are two states with many and they are organized! They speak the language. Then all up and down the East Coast. Many integrated with other tribe's as do Most Indigenous North American tribe's. I am Cherokee and Paiute and my Quantum is Cherokee! What do you think Hispanics are? They are also Indigenous Native People! I would remind you where Hispanics were before Mr White Man stepped in and made war against them. Pretty certain that's why we have a State called New Mexico! Most of California and Arizona belonged to our Hispanic brothers and sister's. I would also remind you that Columbus wasn't the only invader! The Vikings had been established in our Native North American tribe's. Then you had England, France, Spain and a few other's. Plus First Nation Tribe's in Canada were also being killed, tortured and decimated. Meanwhile on our southern side Indigenous South American people were going through literal hell from the Spaniards. In many way's worse than here in this country. They endured burning at the stake, being impaled, beheadings and worse. Forcing many to hide and be assimilated against their will. Not all Indigenous people migrated from Asia. I do show Mongoloid DNA. But it's only a trace. I think many of you are quick to talk out of the side of your mouth with NO real knowledge of what you are talking about! Even CNN referred to us as "something else"! Educate yourselves! A'HO
@Hope Diamond kp is semi sorta right. Many of the now Indigenous North American Native's came across the Bering Straight while it was a solid land mass. Other Indigenous South American Tribes went the other direction. Our foundation's are pretty much the same however. The strong relationship between ancient Chinese and the Mongolian tribes is well established. Being the ruthless and nomadic nature of the Mongolians, the Great Wall of China was built to protect China from the aggressive nature of the Mongols. Later alliances were formed centuries after the Wall was built. Please learn the histories of the indigenous Native North Americans. That way, no one get's insulted!
