    This is why we need to bring back native indigenous empire and just start over clean and no more of what Europe brought over here long ago. We need a pure wild country with no borders and no stuff we have in todays usa and just dance in the field like tribes do.

    Humans have advanced the highest achievements in technology, art, literature, transportation, mathematics, manufacture, music, politics, weapons, materials, communications. In the meantime Indians dance the way they have for thousands of years.

      Neither familiar with the true history of the Americas or Europe I take it. Earliest people in Europe arrived some 54,000 years ago. Then around 9000 years ago light-skinned people from the Middle East settled Europe, bringing their agriculture and livestock with them while replacing the people before them. In the 40,000+ years in between, the 'indigenous' 'Europeans' had pretty much zero technological advancements or achievements of their own. Contrast that with the Americas and you get agriculture, writing, textiles, metal(lurgy), stone masonry, the wheel, etc, in the shortest time span since 'settlement' anywhere in the world.

      @@lordpickle8424 American Indians arrived in North America around twenty thousand years ago. They didn't invent the wheel. They didn't use much writing - mostly oral communication (unless you know of great ancient Indian libraries). Textiles? They wove the same woolen clothing for thousands of years (and I understand they didn't even weave traditional Indian blankets until they sold them as tourist items to Americans.). Stone masonry? Where in the United States are located the great stone buildings? Of course they did carve holes in rocks. And their metallurgy advances seem to be in the area of making arrowheads. Sophisticated European and American advances (of around 400 years) in the U.S. can be seen all over the place in the U.S. Having spent many times that in the U.S. the legacy of Indians is rather primitive.

      @@darz3829 That's why I mentioned about not being familiar with the true history of the Americas or Europe. The vast majority of Native Americans across the Americas were farmers and had been growing food for about 10,000 years before 'Europeans' showed up. Your image of native people seems to be based on that of 'hunter-gatherers' from the US. Growing food can support a far larger population than hunting and gathering can and in the areas where agriculture was prevalent, meaning not in what is now the US, there were tens of millions of Native Americans. Natives in the US/Canada probably made up less than 1% of the total population. So, it's within the agricultural areas of 'Latin America' where things such as textiles, stone masonry, a wheel, writing, etc, developed. This is where the vast majority of the Native Americans were. As for your "great stone buildings" there's quite a few in the 'four corners' of the US. I noticed too you're trying to present a thoroughly non 'European' way of life as being 'European' in origin. It's not. That's why I mentioned that the earliest people in Europe arrived there around 54,000 years ago or so. Then about 9000 years ago light-skinned settlers from the Middle East brought their Middle Eastern way of life with them and replaced the dark-skinned Europeans over thousands of years. Agriculture, livestock, etc, originated in various places throughout the world and Europe isn't one of them. From the earliest people in Europe until roughly 9000 years is over 40,000 years where 'Europeans' had Europe all to themselves and despite having so much time at their disposal they had pretty much zero technological advancements or achievements of any kind aside from some pretty realistic cave paintings. So, if you care to rattle off a list of inventions or meaningful achievements within that 40,000+ year period then go ahead. Try not to present anything after roughly 9000 years ago as being 'European' in origin because it's not.

      @@lordpickle8424 I was commenting in regards to the You Tube video. My point was that -in today's era - the contributions of Native American Indians that are shown - appear very primitive and apparently haven't progressed past anything they did thousands of years ago. That would be in contrast to those accomplishments of European and/or American lineage. You seem to be hung up on Indians from the rest of the world - and of course, that is way off the topic. But I do hope your side excursion brought you some pleasure.

    • @lordpickle8424
      @lordpickle8424 5 місяців тому

      @@darz3829 And I was commenting on the stupidity of your initial post. Your cute little list of "technology, art, literature, transportation, mathematics, manufacture, music, politics, weapons, materials, communications" owes its very existence to an entirely non-'European' way of life. 'Europeans' had Europe all to themselves for over 40,000 years and in all that time had zero achievements or accomplishments of any kind. So, in your posts you're trying to make comparisons between 'Europeans' and Native Americans and trying to present things in your little list as being 'European' in origin. They're not, and it's an incredibly ironic comparison to make given that 40,000 period where absolutely nothing occurred. The thing with the Americas is that it's the only place in the world where one singular group of people (Native Americans) "invented" everything on their own with zero influence from elsewhere. You can't say that for anywhere in the world, especially Europe. If not for the ancient Middle East 'Europeans' would be at a level similar to the Andamanese. Even when the last of the dark-skinned 'Europeans' were dying out around 6000 years ago they still hadn't accomplished anything. The reason you can't rattle off a list of inventions that took place in that 40,000 year period is because nothing happened. So, yeah... absolutely stupid comparisons you're making there.

    (ᏩᏙ'wado) growing up in central Okla and still living in Northeast Oklahoma the traditional/straight dance is my absolute favorite ceremonial dance for 57 years....well until today Jan 17-24, the Apsaalooke Baatawéelissuua brought me to tears, i felt such pride,honor, humbleness and very blessed to witness this. I'm surprised I've never seen the Baatawéelissuua until now, growing for several years as a kid in the Cheyenne Arapaho culture and traveling to countless pow-wows and Sacred Ceremony...the Great Spirit knows the time for blessings. Again (ᏩᏙ,wado) thank you.
