I bought this pattern and made it with a gradient yarn, from charcoal to silvery white… and it’s gorgeous! I added a hood to it, as per request. The pattern was well written and very easy to follow… on top of being very affordable! Again… thank you for sharing!! 💜👍🏼

I just got started on teaching myself (and getting taught by the lovely content creators of UA-cam) how to knit and I’m just in awe at how beautifully intricate creating clothing and other things is! It’s so cool how the yarn pulls on itself and makes the shapes it does in the final product, and I admire the ability to keep track of where things go-I get lost in all the little holes. 😅 I’m gunna commit myself to knitting for a while, but I’ll be watching a bunch of your videos as well to prepare myself for when I get into crocheting! I’m interested in seeing the different shapes and stitches firsthand. Thank you for the videos! ✨

Wow, I can't believe this is pretty much just double crochets! It looks so detailed and luscious, but seems like it would be super relaxing to make. Definitely on my list to create.

From that menu you can choose the speed of the video and you can change that choice at any time you want to even while viewing. There is also a closed captioning for different languages if the video you are viewing supports that option. I hope this was helpful ☺️

Love the shawl. I also love that you are crocheting with a pen hold and just a regular crochet hook.
I’ve never heard anyone but you call that a “pen hold” even though those who taught me to crochet over forty five years ago told me to “hold the hook like you’re holding a pen”! I’ve never seen anyone else hold the hook that way until now.

@@eneal2056 I learned to hold the crochet like holding a pen also. Over time though, I also crochet like holding a knife, depends on the way my hands react on the day I decide to crochet .

Love this yarn, but not sure about a suitable alternative in the UK.
I have started the easy triple crochet triangular shawl, using DK with a tinsel strand, so it's not bad, tbf.
When you talk about crocheting it does show its an art !!!!

I think I will try this and practice, I prefer knitting but will try crochet and I love the pattern.
You’ll find it’s not as hard as you’d think. Good luck! I’m a crochet kinda girl but I have learned to knit thanks to Chandi! I just find it easier to crochet still.
Joni Smith I started with knitting so that is easier for me but I did teach myself how to crochet just need more practice and yes it’s easy so here is to trying a new pattern

Just finished it. I used one colour - a beautiful Breton blue in 100% linen yarn that I bought several years ago. I know it will soften with washing and time. Love the effect.
