Possibly, but I have two pairs both authentic. A DS size 11 and an 11.5 that I wear. The quality on the SB4 is top notch and imo the best 4 to date

It’s amazing how well they can rep a shoe these days. To the untrained eye and even to the trained eye they are almost indistinguishable.
It would be amazing but the production is all done overseas so it’s not too hard to get your hand on the blueprint when the shop is 2 blocks over
I know a black market dealer in Taiwan who has cops as customers. He told me reps are from same factory but they just make extra unauthorized supply. The reason for slight differences is due to same model from different factories that Nike uses so basically it’s the same product just one’s “retail” and the other’s “fake.”
The fact there is no glue on the rep is scary because you damn well know there will be people out there rejecting a pair just because of the glue staining
Placement of the Jumpman patch on the tongue was the biggest tell for me. I got it right.

Yeah that was the only huge give away for me. The tongue on the retail is taller/longer and the tag is higher up closer to the to edge the rep has a noticeable gap between the tag and the top/edge of the tongue
the only other thing I noticed and that and another the Nike SB on the rep looks slightly tilt/sideways but it’s so slight that you can only notice it with the retail next to it and if it wasn’t for the tongue It prob wouldn’t have caught my eye if I was still wondering which was which

The biggest difference I see is the tongue tag placement is a little low on the rep.

Height of the tongue is higher/longer on the retail and placement of the jumpman tag is also higher on the retail. The rep has a bigger noticeable gap between the tag and the top end of the tongue.

I bought a pair off eBay and the price including shipping was $390 CDN. That in itself should have made me think they were fake but I thought I would try them anyway. I knew as soon as I as I touched the heel tab that they were fake because it was hard paste and not rubber. But the quality outside of that isn’t that bad but I’m still going to try and return them.

Yeah I got fake voodoos and high 85s on goat, before I contacted goat I ran them through check check and they passed. Goat even gave me a refund for one pair because they confirmed em fake. The other I didn't find out in time so goat screwed me on that pair. With that said check check and all those apps are trash!

Plenty. They’re super stringent, perhaps more so than western companies given they are operating where the reps are so prevalent. Never had a problem

Real js cut smaller then fake period...like if you wear a 10 it's going to be to big if it's fake...trust me...all I wear is js...but I'm not going to lie...the fake is better quality for some reason... but you will never notice it just by looking at them unless you do all of that so it really don't make a difference

Some poor skater is nursing what might become a plantar fibroma on the foot arch with ointment, cause hypebeast doofuses took their skate shoes... it can't be me, or can it? These are up to $450 USD with authenticity verification for a used pair ... meanwhile my feet hurt after trying to learn a bunch of new tricks on the skateboard and landing primo often. Early 30's but no longer indestructible. These are perfect for someone prone to fatty tissue tumors, lipomas, etc.

No such thing as a fake and a real shoe. They both come from the same factories. Its only a matter of quality control. If you have to use special equipment such as blacklights etc you are wasting your time spending the extra 100 or so. The only shoes that would qualify for the outrageous prices are the Actual Period Specific ORIGINALS or ACTUAL OG's. Jordan has seriously over played their hand with all of these continual releases with minute color changes using cheap materials. I feel ALMOST bad for all of these so called collectors with 10's of thousands in shoe collections. Once the market crashes they will be sitting on a pile of nothing. Two words: Beanie Babies

Nike fell off with their quality when they shifted over to south east Asia in their pursuit of cheaper labour and cheaper costs. Jordan brand also using synthetics and budget material yet the price goes up?! Bonkers.
