For the last forty years, I have been to the UK so often that this country can be considered my second home. The wilderness of English countryside, like Scottish and Welsh are charming and idyllic indeed. However, a third of the rural land is owned by aristocrats and land gentry. 50% of rural land ownership in England and Wales are family and corporate estates, some of them foreign companies. Besides the land mass, owners treat the hills, lakes, river, forest and meadows as their trophy assets. The UK economy has been in the doldrums for the last two decades but UK landownership policies and development will thwart any pro- growth plans. The British government will still unable to develop more decent home to address the acute housing shortages, to upgrade outdated facilities in public hospitals and schools and to develop infrastructure for more affordable and expeditious public transport and telecommunications. In this sense, constitutionally the UK is not a democracy... it's a plutocracy run by oligarchs. There's little prospect that the standard of living for the British general public to get better.

You know why we have internet barrier in China? because it's full of lies about China in Western Media.

Everytime when I was transferring in some big European airports, I always helped out several Chinese when they were struggling to communicate with working staffs in English. No offense, however, the working staffs did not show much patience with them as I observed many times. One time, a poor young Chinese girl was yelled at by a customs officer. It is difficult for non-Chinese speakers to travel in China. However, it is even more difficult for Chinese to travel abroad.

Have to say id rather have really high quality bootlegs than retros. Retros are made such a low quality and often nike dont even have the original data anymore. Nike retros are literally knock offs of crappy quality. And if maison mageila can make jordan knockoffs and make em really high quality and make them popular i dont see why other makers cant take inspo from classic designs. I have the mm reebok colabs and the mm deadstocks and i think thyre much better than nike retros.

Great video. This Castle was used to imprison and kill hundreds of Scots. The lake at the castle is particularly unnerving due to the large numbers of bodies dumped there. I visited many years ago and I felt ill beside the lake, eerily silent and oppressive
