@@daliborkrupica8392 😂 I think I know who you are now. This is such an unlucky coincidence, I can't wait for the p09c nocturne to come to South Africa, it'll be my first handgun if it comes with a threaded barrel. I love shooting the p07 so this is awesome. Any chance on a revised p10 line? 👀😂
Hey Honest outlaw where’s the follow up vid ? Most say this problem comes from the long optic screw on the ejection port side when it should be on the right side , let us Know thx Guy
Because of your P-07 reviews I bought this almost as soon as it dropped. I have about 400 rounds through it and haven’t had a failure, so I’m really hoping yours works out.
I got one too, had 2 failure to seat in the first 2 mags. But after that 200 rounds later I’ve had no problems. The ammo used I have seen consistently malfunction 4 different Cz pistols, so it actually did very well.
Same here. I am almost 1000 rounds in and have not had a single hiccup. Not a single failure. It runs flawless no matter what I feed it. I have tried everything from light target loads to high end stuff. I even fed it some old reloads that I got from my dad years ago. I think maybe Chris just got a lemon. I'm sure that he will send it in to CZ and have them take a look at it. I'm looking forward to a follow up video to see if they find out what went wrong.
I bought this pistol and initially the fit was so tight that I had 6 out of battery rounds in a 100. When I locked my wrist, it worked fine. Next trip, I used 124 grain Speer and it ran flawlessly. Fast forward 600 rounds, the trigger lost a pound and the pistol ran cheap 115 grain like a top. That's my experience and I love the gun.
That's why you always break in your new guns the night before taking them to a range. What I do is rack the slide a couple hundred times, clean in to get rid of all the shavings and the factory oil and then for some guns I leave the slide locked back an entire night. Haven't had a single malfunction on any of my guns. Just a few times my Canik slide wouldn't look back after last round but no big deal
@@tyquanwashington.8510 hello sir , I am registered as a sporting shooter so I can buy 15 guns of cat b . Which is Glock 19x , CZ TS 2 , walther PPK , Ak 47 . These are cat B I am limited on acquiring 15 guns. No limit for cat c shotguns, cal 12 ,20 etc. Bolt action rifles ex . Remington 700 . Big bonus compared with Us 🇺🇸 Is here every gun I own as a silencer! No need any kind of paperwork to buy silencers. You enter the shop and buy one no questions asked. It’s not considered to be a gun here!
@tyquanwashington.8510 Yes, there are laws, because here in France we love SO MUCH bureaucracy !😅 As a sport shooter, you must be in a sport club, and be given an "autorisation de détention" : if it is supressed , or if you die, your guns must be sold. Then you can't have more than 15 pistols or rifle with a 30 rounds maximum capacity (no autorisation for full auto guns). If the rifle is made for hunting, (no capacity more than 5 rounds), and you can buy as you want. There are plenty of others conditions and details but that's the spirit.
Hey Chris, Gene here, with G Squared Tactical on UA-cam. Been following you for years. I did my initial range review on the P09 C (P07 optic ready) and I was running the Holosun 407k. It ran great with garbage ammo as I do not have sponsors. It ran new republic, S&B and Blazer Brass and I ran it real hard as I too am a HUGE CZ fan. It would hurt my heart to have to report what you did today. However, I want to throw out a thought and I know it’s probably not the case because of your firearms knowledge. 3 days ago I bought the P09 F and I to put the vortex defender CCW on it and as there wasn’t a set of screws in the box that specifically said CZ I used the ones I thought would work. They seemed to be the right length and certainly thread pitch etc was correct. Sadly I don’t remember which size they were. Anyway I noticed that when tightening down the right side looking back to front it seemed weird like it bottomed out before the left side but it did tighten down flush and completely however I didn’t feel good about it for some reason. The slide seemed “catchy” when it didn’t before and maybe that was just in my head. Either way I removed the screws and found a set in the swamp fox optic screw set I have that was the same but slightly shorter and when installing left and right side seemed to bottom out at the same time and just felt better. I ran it hard at the range as well without incident. I’ve since installed the CCW on my P09 C and now I’m paranoid after watching your video so I’m going to the range tomorrow with some magtech but I wonder if the mounting screw is touching the ejector spring ever so slightly not allowing it to fully compress thus allowing it to hold the round. I’m not a gunsmith so I’m not sure just throwing out the thought.
I came here to make a similar comment. Give the screws on the optic another look to see if they are catching on the ejector or slide and possibly change them out. I had a similar experience with my 43X, and that was the issue.
I hope Chris sees this. It could very well be the issue. I'm still sort of surprised CZ went with the micro red dot foot print when you can send the old P-07 slides off to get milled for the regular size optics.
@@asathomas84 yeah I am a huge, huge CZ fan and the thing that upset me the most or really the only complaint that I had about the new release especially the full size is that they cut it for a micro optic. There have been aftermarket companies milling the original PO nine and PO seven for full size optics for years so you would think if they could figure it out that CZ could have certainly figured it out.
@@GSquaredTactical I've seen your channel too. At least enough to know you love your CZs! I'm not a gunsmith either, but I do know on my Shadow 2, the machine shop (Nameless Arms-awesome folks by the way) had to modify the extractor spring to mount a Trijicon RCR. Maybe CZ isn't willing to make such a modification for some reason if it's a similar situation on the Omega trigger guns.
@@asathomas84 I think that Chris is probably well past the area that I am of course only having 40,000 subscribers to the point where it’s not possible for him to read or even come close to responding to all of the comments as I do on my channel I don’t think it would be possible I mean it’s almost a daunting task for me to respond and I only get about 75 or 80 comments a day. So he likely will not ever see these comments but I am nearly 100% convinced that’s what he has going on because as I said, the only time I ever done that I had that exact same failure, to where the extractor was just holding the round inside of the chamber area or breach face
Try sending it back directly to CZ I believe there a problem with your sample, I say this because in theory internally is the exact same old gun so it doesn’t make sense that the new one would be less reliable. Please let us know, but thanks so much for your honesty!!
@@cmiles2012 Yep. I search P-09C on UA-cam and there are a few dozen reviews that show 100% reliability. It's a shame, but there just may be something wrong with Honest Outlaw's specific gun. I also wonder if mounting the optic may have changed how well the slide reciprocates? Those screws go right in over the top of where the firing pin block is, and it's mounted quite low into the slide.
Cz and Canik handguns are built to meet nato reliability/durability requirements for 124 +p. I remember having to lock my wrists really tight to shoot my canik tp9 fresh out of the box in order not to have failures during a short two hundred round break in period. Probably wouldn't have been a problem If I was using +p ammo. Canik had to send out lighter springs for some people.
This is why I like waiting like a year to buy a new model gun. Same shit that happened to them first batches of Canik TTI's but it wasnt jamming THAT bad. I'm sure CZ will get it right.
You’re optic screw at the back right is binding up on your extractor. Causing jamming malfunctions, take a Dremel, cut it just a nose 👃 hair short & it should work just fine. A good tip from a recent video i can’t remember his channel..I’ll post it when I find it later 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Actually the gun is fantastic. What causes the failure to eject issue is the right-side screw from the red dot is long enough to interfere with the extractor. You can either use a shorter screw for the right side or use a dremel tool and shorten the right-side screw for the optic. The problem goes away. This has happened in the past to other pistols, like the Glock and others. It seems as if this knowledge is getting lost.
I just bought my CZ P09 C Nocturne a little bit ago. I shot 200 rounds of Armscor 115 grain FMJ with 0 malfunctions. I also used the full size CZ P09 mags and had 0 malfunctions. Overall I really like the gun and I’m upset that u didn’t have the same experience as I did.
Since the slides/ frames are supposedly interchangeable from the prior generation, it would be interesting to see them switched around to further analyze those issues.
This is the sort of video that puts the "Honest" in "Honest Outlaw." If La Rae has issues, it's fair to think that a whole bunch of us would, too, since her experience and expertise is FAR above average. HUGE advantage having her shoot as well as Bubba to offer broader persoective. I am a CZ guy for a long time. I was really rooting for this pistol.
I agree. I most likely have stronger wrist than her but am 99.99% sure she is a better pistol shooter than me. So if she is having issues I’m out. Friends have CZ’s, they’ve all been great, but if she is having trouble that’s a big red flag. I’m confident CZ will fix it though.
0:460:500:52 Just picked mine up about an hour ago. Hope mine is ok. Update. Took it out today. Just put 200 rounds of blazer brass 100 of normal MHP and 100 of Winchester White box. No issues. Love this gun.
Honest Outlaw is the only youtuber I've seen with issues. Either he got a total lemon, or the optic was mounted incorrectly or with too long of screws. Hope yours is okay! I got mine the first week it came out, and 250 rounds in zero issues so far.
@@treedoori feel it’s a case of using the wrong magazines (as he said) and Mrs Outlaw riding her support hand thumb on the slide lock/release lever. Many ‘modern’ shooters are using the ‘accelerator pedal’ technique to minimise muzzle movement on recoil, and often mistake the lever for a ‘control pad’ on the firearm. If you look a the firearm, the slide lever is in exactly the same position as the textured pad on the other side.
Glad I watched this. I am a huge CZ fan and own several. I had planned to pick up one of these, but now I am waiting to see how this develops. Thanks for another great review.
You won't find a single other review with malfunctions. You also won't find a single other review where the shooter slams an incompatible mag into the gun before firing the first shot... I think HO may have bent the extractor doing that. Not certain though. Hopefully he figures out what went wrong for his 1000 round review.
@@treedoor It was after he zeroed, not before firing. The sheet metal feed lip on that mag can't bend the milled and heat-treated steel of the extractor.
@@AtlasJotun You are right, but the extractor would be hit by the stack of brass in the mag and not the mag itself. However, now that I think of it, what may have instead happened was he coupd have damaged the slide release. By ramming in the wrong mag, that may have shifted or bent that mechanism up causing the slide to encounter extra friction. He even eluded to that in the video when he questioned whether his wife accidentally hitting the slide stop. That would cause the same kind of malfunctions. Either way, dont shove the wrong mag in your gun.
@@treedoor Brass is even softer than the mild steel of the mag. I suspect the gun's a lemon and that it has a defect somewhere along the feed path. I also thought Outlaw was off his rocker when he mentioned the slide lock, because there's no mechanism by which an induced malfunction via the slide lock causes the presented cartridge to move sideways off the feed ramp. And again, that scenario requires a much weaker component inexplicably damaging the stronger component, which is highly atypical of malfunctions in firearms and machinery in general. That type of failure mode is usually only seen when the weaker component has been fretting or inducing NVH in the stronger components for thousands of cycles, not the case for this brand-new gun.
@@AtlasJotun if it was just a loose piece of brass, sure. But bullets are more than just brass, and they are all compressed down into a magazine. And that mass, along with the force of jamming it into the gun into a thin protruding steel rod could bend the rod. If steel was invincible against lead and brass simply because it's a harder metal, you wouldnt be able to shoot holes through steel. Force and pressure also factor into the equation. Additionally, HO could have damaged the slide stop doing this. Beyond that, he may have used optic screws that are too long and which are dragging across the top of his firing pin block every shot. The gun could also just be a lemon though. I hope HO determines the actual issue for his next video.
I hope CZ makes it right. This channel is the reason I purchased and now EDC the P-01. In other words, Honest Outlaw is an unofficial CZ brand ambassador.
1) What's to make right? Honest Outlaw's wife was limp-wristing the gun, she even said so herself. 2) What? Key word in those last two sentences is "unofficial," as in, what you've said has no bearing on reality.
Having watched every review on this firearm that is available on UA-cam, I am certain you got a lemon. Not any other review has the end user had any reliability related issues whatsoever. Definitely waiting on that 1,000 round review!
@@Iamshields632 gotcha, doomscrolling as far as possible & I am not able to find another negative review. I did see one other about issues with slide not locking back. But he did put 1000 rounds through it with no issues.
@@El_CamioneroReally? I’ve had zero issues with mine. My nephew who had never fired a pistol was having some issues but we figured out he was just limp-wristing it and once he firmed up his grip it ran fine. I don’t believe I’ve had a single instance of FTF/extract.
I picked mine up about a week ago and installed a Holosun 407K on it. We ran the factory mags and a +2 P07 mag in it this past weekend. Several of us shot it and put over 200 rounds of 115 white box through it without any issue. I'm really happy with mine. Sad to see you having issues with yours.
I love this gun so far. 250 rounds through mine on my first range day with zero failures. I also shoot it better than anything else I own. I would be interested to see if mounting the optic is causing the malfunctions. It'd be sad if so, but I have yet to see a single video about this gun that shows it as anything but 100% reliable. Most aren't using optics though. That would be worth checking in your 1000 round review!
Dude you absolutely got a lemon, I own one and I've shot over 700 rounds of various ammo brands without a single malfunction using the stock magazines.
No issues with mine yet. Got about 300rds through it (all 124gr NATO or 124gr +p JHPs) and that is with all of my P series mags including the P-09 21rd mags.
This surprises me as it did you….Just got mine yesterday and ran 300+ rounds through it today and not 1 malfunction. Also have p-07 and love it as well and maybe only 1 ammo malfunction in 2000 rounds or so so I’m hoping for the same reliability with this newer version.
This is crazy cz is arguably the most reliable gun ever. I’ve seen a cz 75 eat the cheapest ammo almost every other gun wouldn’t eat. Won’t be getting this one
I got the p09f nocturne. I only had two of those malfunctions in my first 300 where the slide wouldn’t full seat but was able to tap it into battery both times. But I was using 124g. I’m definitely going to shoot the other 300 rounds this week now. Will update
I wouldn't doubt either the optic is torqued down too hard or maybe the screws are too long. Maybe try to change out the red dot and see if it works? If not than hopefully you just have a lemon and it's not a bigger issue
Definitely not a production issue at CZ factory . . maybe someone installed the safety and removed it again and damaged something when adding the decocker/red-dot.
I used short screws to mount the red dot, especially over on the extractor side of the slide. My gun works well. Gabe Suarez recently posted This issue on his patreon page. This is a common issue of a too long screw binding the extractor.
It is obvious that Chris' gun did not ship with a Vortex Optic, so that is exactly the problem and it should have been a condition for CZ to notify ever gun purchaser about the condition or even for CZ to ship specific screws with instructions on installation. Gabe Suarez did mention that it was a prevalent problem for Glock, as well.
@@grapenut9 I used to buy those glock screws from Gabe's former business. He has since sold it, but I believe they still sell the correct screws. Last optic I purchased from I had them mount it on a used OEM slide for me.
Didn’t think it would take the Honest Outlaw very long to shake this CZ down. Unfortunate it had a bad showing. Looks like CZ may have some work to do.
I bought the original P-07 used years ago from your old school video, and that bad boy is still kicking. Nice to see you and Miss Outlaw. You the man Outlaw!!!!
I'm glad I waited. I wanted this sooo bad but stopped myself from buying until your review because I still want the p07. This definitely helped me make my final decision
I had the exact same problem with older gen 2 P-09 so i took it to cajun gunsmith he put a new extractor in it and new springs and slicked up the trigger and it now works perfectly.
That’s a shame, I was really looking forward to you having a stellar review of their new gun, I’m a fan of CZ too, but I really appreciate your honesty.
I bought my CZ P07 after your reviews and have now owned it for over a yr and super happy. Have had my eyes on this pistol now ! Great review as always ! Definitely did not expect the amount of failures!
Curious, did you run any 115? Or only 124? If it was all 124, was it NATO spec or loaded lighter? I have a sneaking suspicion that it’s tuned for hot NATO 124gr.
I had to send my 2024 P07 back for warranty repair twice for failure to feed. Ultimately replaced the recoil spring and now it is fine. Got one bad jam on the P09 C Nocturne but didn’t repeat. Maybe try a new recoil spring. Maybe rolling changes to some degree.
There was a lot of speculation that the merger with Colt might actually hurt the CZ brand and their mark of reliability…. Obviously this is only one review but curious to see how this may affect future product launches/build quality
The vast majority of CZs are still produced in Czech Republic so I’m not sure Colt would have any impact on those. They have recently started importing them into CT (Colt HQ) rather than KC (CZUSA), but that is really just intake. Maybe they are lacking there on final QC I guess. But as stated this is one example, all the other review videos out there didn’t have this issue nor is it being widely reported on the subs/forums (I’ve seen one person say they have a similar issue). For now, until there’s a more widespread issue, it makes more sense that outlaw just got a lemon (or even possibly used too long of screws for the optic). Shit sucks but it happens.
As a shooter in germany, I have to really really consider what gun to get, as the number is limited by law. Also I still have a couple of months until I get through all the paperwork, background checks, tests and certificates required. :D Germany. Burocracy! I was actually looking at the p09c or p07 with a tendency to the 09c (optics ready means a lot less headache in the future). Got really put off by this video, but I've heard a lot of theories now: Dot-Screws too long, guiderod/spring, magazine springs... I really hope you give this one another chance and maybe help CZ get to the bottom of this. Reliability is something that just NEEDS to be there. And the trust is already pretty shaken, now. :/ Thanks to you and the missus for being the ruthlessly honest outlaws.
Yo outlaw, I just ran into a video by Suarez tactics on the cz malfunctions. He talks about the right optic screw giving the extractor issues. He suggests hitting it with an dremel and popping it back in. Might be worth a try. -Koup
I’ve actually seen this type of feeding issue on new CZ polymer pistols a bit lately. Polish the feed ramp and chamber to a mirror finish with jeweler’s rouge. If you’re still getting rounds not going all the way into battery and/or difficulty extracting, inspect the nose of the slug for rifling marks - some of the chambers are cut too short and bullets with longer OAL or wide noses are engaging the rifling before they’re fully seated in the chamber.
What would just be inacceptable. Do not mess around with it but send it back untill they fix it. I expect "100%" reliability with a gun from the factory, especially with a company like CZ.
@@zeromaster80 feed ramp and chamber polishing is kind of standard practice for me with any new gun - as long as its only polish and not an abrasive, it’s pretty much impossible to do any harm and smoother feeding and extraction is good for everyone. I think CZ cuts their cambers to CIP (European spec) rather than SAAMI. Even though the gun is probably well within tolerance for CIP, CZ has been very good about opening the chamber up to SAAMI under warranty the few times I’ve asked.
Glad I pulled the trigger and ordered a p10f optics ready last week instead. I had slight buyers remorse with these coming out but I don't like being an early adopter
Got mine last week. Had a couple fail to return to battery in first 2 mags, no issues since with 150 rounds through it. Using Magtech 115GR, 124GR & CC 115GR FMJ. My P-07 mags work just fine with the P-09C
As a CZ Fan Boi I was hoping for a better performance. Why I love your content, you are always Honest. Thanks for the detailed review. I hope they fix this or send you another.
Also a huge CZ fanboy, and I had a similar issue to your wife with the slide release on the P09c. I had experienced this before with the IWI Jericho 941fs and found the same issue with my support hand thumb (for me more the base of my thumb than the pad) bumping the slide catch ever so slightly under recoil. I can shoot both the Jericho and the P09c Left handed or one handed (either right or left) with no malfunctions, but as soon as I go to the grip I use for 90% of my shooting on my P01 or Shadow 2 (which are both 100% reliable) I get this same malfunction. So I can confidently say it is not the gun or my recoil control ability, but simply a geometry issue with my hands. Ultimately after about five or six hundred rounds on the Jericho I had to concede it just didn't work for my hands without adapting my grip and I decided to sell it. I will likely do the same for the P09c unfortunately which is a shame because it was also a gun I was very excited about.
Holy crap, CZ sent THE P-07 ambassador a fucking lemon! That's embarrassing and sad at the same time. I've never actually seen a CZ fail this much (I've never actually seen one fail in videos or in person for that matter), there has to be a problem with the extractor or machining flaw. What a massive disappointment, it makes me apprehensive of the new P-10 I've been waiting all year for...
don't worry about the P-10. The only thing I found about the P-10 is that its chamber is euro spec and not sammi spec, so if you're reloading rounds that will work in sammi spec, they might be a bit too long for the chamber, but any factory ammo should work and you can always adjust how long your reloads are.
@@robertthebruce7176 yeah, I've heard this about CZ in general, the chambers can be tight for US market ammo. Never experienced it, personally, but it is a possibility. However, I'm talking about the newly redesigned P-10 that doesn't exist on the market yet, so it remains to be seen how it performs.
I know others have said it, but I picked a P-09c up as well after years of a fantastic P-07 and have around 500 rounds through mine with no issues. I will check for magazine compatibility next range day.
CZ should take it back and expedite the testing/repair, then send it back overnight and include extra mags. After all, Honest has been a huge fan of a number of CZ’s and is a MAJOR INFLUENCER on YT and should be given the red carpet treatment. I won’t be buying one myself until I hear that these problems have been corrected. Moreover that it’s not from the red dot optic mount, the other CZ mags (at least P07 or P09 mags, but not necessarily the P10F mags) or caused by any ammo.
I carry CZ for edc. Also I own and shoot a lot of CZ. I was soooo looking forward to this review since I carry a P-07 and was wanting an optic. Guess I’ll wait to see if they can fix the issues. I carry cz because of reliability. So sad. Thanks for the honest review. Please keep us updated if cz reaches out and makes it right.
Not really what I wanted to see. This is the first gun I have been excited about in a long time. The P07 is a great carry gun and I've always wanted to have an optics version.
If the optic screw on the ejection port side is a little too long it will put pressure on the extractor plunger and cause those malfunctions. Take the screw out and file it down to shorten it a bit then reinstall it. I bet that fixes it.
I’m glad I watched this video I was soon to get one because I love my P07, hopefully they work the kinks out of it sooner than later, another awesome video thank you for sharing brother.
My only cz experience is with the scorpion 3 plus: missing the screw that holds the trigger assembly in place, hand guard/barrel nut came loose and safety plunger started deforming in less than 300 rds. After replacing 90% of the parts I guess I can say I finally love it 😂
Man, I was waiting for your review and am a bit disappointed. I love my PO7 and was really excited for this gun. Hopefully once broken in a bit more it performs better. A little curious though that your wife had so many more malfunctions, but like you said she shoots more than a lot of people so I would still call that a failure as well. Thanks for the content and looking forward to 1000 round review.
Disappointed to see this result. The only major change from a firing point of view is the optics cut. Makes me wonder if the length of the screws on the optic are somehow interfering with the guns operation?
I ordered mine recently for pickup this week, now after seeing this review I'm really worried. I hope I have better luck than The Honest Outlaw. It was a total shock for me.
Really odd, had mine for two week and easily 300+ rounds with zero issues same with my p10c .. maybe he just got a bad one?!I hope so and mine doesn’t start turning to trash 😢
Thank you for your always honest review of this new gun from CZ. I have the P-07, that like you I love. Your review of the CZ 09C only confirmed by feelings that this gun was rushed out with new bells and whistles to attract those who must have the newest thing. Since I don’t need or want a red dot, and very happy with the grip of my P-07 I will not be “upgrading” to this new “dernier cri” by CZ.
Chris, I’m a huge CZ Fanboi and I had a P-01 fail on me like this. Send it back to CZ it will not get better by shooting it. CZ wound up cutting me a check to buy that P-01 back from me because they couldn’t even fix it
Let me start by saying I'm a very loyal CZ fan and was excited to watch this Honest review... Love my P09 and P07( one of my primary EDCs). Even if this is a lemon, as some state, what blows my mind is that this is completely out of character for CZ. You shouldn't have to worry about getting a lemon from CZ...ever! Other than grip texture and the optics cut, it seems like the rest are lipstick changes. I did MCarbo trigger jobs on both my P09 and P07, dropping the DA factory 9lb pull down to 6lb, and the SA from factory 4lb pull down to 2.4lb. I hope CZ makes this right for you, Chris. I'll definitely be keeping my amazing older CZ's.
Man as a fellow P07 fanatic (my personal GOAT handgun) I RAN to your channel specifically for this review when I found out about the P09c… man am I disappointed. I hope you just got a lemon. We need an update video
That is very disappointing performance. For an every person gun it is failing badly. They can't be setting it up for large people only. My thinking is it needs to go to the factory. I would not invest more ammo in it. As you said it should be past break in by now. Any weapon that takes 500 rounds or more to have any confidence in for carry would not go past 300 rounds before sending it back. The tech is too settled to be seeing issues like that.
I had the exact same strange failure issues recently with a brand new P-10F running 115 Blazer. I ran a few boxes of 124 through it flawlessly. Now it runs 115 perfectly as well. Still a bit disappointing but love it now.
One thing I've noticed on some Cz's and some Tanfoglio's is that to keep reliability going, the Extractor Spring must be changed. On my P01 and Cz75B I have fitted Wolff Extra Power Extractor Springs. No Problems since. The P01 in particular needed it's Extractor Spring replaced when it was new. The Cz75B needed an Extractor Spring after about a years worth of shooting. My Cz P07 on the other hand, has NEVER needed it's Extractor Spring changed, so far. Go Figure!
I am really sorry to hear that. our idea was literally 'keep the best, improve the rest' so we were not messing with functional geometry. Hey Honest outlaw where’s the follow up vid ? Most say this problem comes from the long optic screw on the ejection port side when it should be on the right side , let us Know thx Guy
Because of your P-07 reviews I bought this almost as soon as it dropped. I have about 400 rounds through it and haven’t had a failure, so I’m really hoping yours works out.
same here the day I picked mine up I shot 300 rounds and had zero failures
I got one too, had 2 failure to seat in the first 2 mags. But after that 200 rounds later I’ve had no problems. The ammo used I have seen consistently malfunction 4 different Cz pistols, so it actually did very well.
What if it was the sight they were using
I also wondered if switching to 124gr for break-in would make a difference.

Yes, there are laws, because here in France we love SO MUCH bureaucracy !😅
As a sport shooter, you must be in a sport club, and be given an "autorisation de détention" : if it is supressed , or if you die, your guns must be sold.

This was heartbreaking. I can't believe how poorly it did
Actually the gun is fantastic.

They will. It's probably something very simple. That looks to be a high-quality piece. And basic.

Glad I saw your review. I hope they take notice and fix their issues! It's a sweet lookin pistol.
This is why I look at your reviews before considering buying a new gun. That is kind of wild 😮

I agree on the P07. One of my favorite carry pieces
I actually think it's a good thing. This means they didn't cherry pick the gun or tune it in any way before sending it out to him.
don't worry about the P-10.

@@TheOfficialCaseMade Ooh a new P-10, this is the first I'm hearing of it but that excites me.
I know others have said it, but I picked a P-09c up as well after years of a fantastic P-07 and have around 500 rounds through mine with no issues. I will check for magazine compatibility next range day.
Check your ejector to see if you damaged it from overinserting the full size mag. I've seen that happen many times with original P-07s.
Great point. Can happen w the caniks too
Check the optics screw to see if it's pushing on the ejector. I watched a few videos and Suarez tactical brought it up
Been subscribed to your channel for ages, keep it up!
Thank you so much for your amazing channel. We have learned so much.
CZ happily sends new gun to a known CZ fan. Gun fails epically.
Sent him a lemon!
Heh, well, maybe they sent him one right off the production line and skipped quality control, knowing he'd find any flaws ?
They are very good at making it right for you. It's been my experience.
@@OllamhDrabWhy would they want to make that a Public process?...
I love my P07
Don’t judge it by this review alone.
seems like it was more user error
If the optic screw on the ejection port side is a little too long it will put pressure on the extractor plunger and cause those malfunctions. Take the screw out and file it down to shorten it a bit then reinstall it. I bet that fixes it.
Still getting one. Hopefully mine won’t have the same issues.
Just don't slam an incompatible mag into it and bend the extractor pin like HO did.
I’m glad I watched this video I was soon to get one because I love my P07, hopefully they work the kinks out of it sooner than later, another awesome video thank you for sharing brother.
Try swapping the slides between theP-07 and the P-09 C, to test whether it's the upper or the lower that's causing the malfunctions...
My only cz experience is with the scorpion 3 plus: missing the screw that holds the trigger assembly in place, hand guard/barrel nut came loose and safety plunger started deforming in less than 300 rds.
After replacing 90% of the parts I guess I can say I finally love it 😂
The optic screw is to long on the right side. That’s why it jams
It's probably your optic screws. Someone even made a video explaining the issue. You need shorter screws so they don't jam the extractor up.
I have a 75b decoder and love it. Never had a problem. I'm sure they'll stand by their product and fix the issue
This collab is pure gold!
Thank you Honest Outlaw... I am really interested in this model from CZ. Cannot wait for your 1000 rd review!
Disappointed to see this result. The only major change from a firing point of view is the optics cut. Makes me wonder if the length of the screws on the optic are somehow interfering with the guns operation?
My man's got a brain 🧠 on him!
@@josephmcbrien7646 HA! I think he needs 9mm or 10mm screws vs the the standard 12mm
I ordered mine recently for pickup this week, now after seeing this review I'm really worried. I hope I have better luck than The Honest Outlaw. It was a total shock for me.
Your optic screws were probably too long and contacting your extractor.
Thank you for an honest review that is why I like your channel
Optic screw hitting ejector?
Are we starting to see the 'Colt' in 'Colt CZ Group'? Hope not, but my hair is tingling.
Wait did colt buy cz?
@@2A-J.MAY08 CZ bought Colt a few year back. Colt got merged with CZ USA.
Go Figure!
