Thanks Nigel for sharing this. The pots had been gifts 🎁 for Nigel for being such a nice fellow sharing all these heart-warming videos and inspiring me to what I do right now. For all interested in the 3d tool I use... it's "Blender" an open-source free to use tool. IMHO the best in the industry I have stumbled upon the last 25 years 😅
Your pots are really beautiful. I love your technique because it gives them texture and drip marks like a real glazed clay pot! What sort of varnish do you use to seal the pot?
Damn!! I am so facinated with the process, the way this guy is painting a pot, we are watching a video but imagine how much time he has put into perfecting one single pot. I love it!! This is also the reason why I love this channel as well, you can binge watch Nigel's videos and you will never get bored!!
These pots really have the mark of a master. Every step is so perfect. It really pops out to me how creative it is to lay a layer of clay and bury it in mat varnish to create a persistent pigment.
I had to come back and watch the beginning of the video. Long process in making the pots. No wonder pots are expensive. Your Jades are really great looking.
I'm of two minds about the 3D pots, but just wanted to say that there's a world of potters out there who would appreciate the opportunities to collaborate in making the pots of your dreams. It's well worth seeking them out!
Just rediscovered you in my subscriptions last week, found you when you still had less than 10k subs. Good to see your still at it and have been Groningen a lot! Wanting to start my own bonsai next week
Designing a pot with appropriate supports that spans over a larger area counters weight issues for more top heavy trees. It seems like a lot of work for a piece of plastic, but it is a hobby like any other and is much cheaper than buying glazed pots and much more rewarding when you make your own!
@@tomaremerald3403 Yes, as a hobby, but Nigel mentioned, that Stephan wants to make a business out of it. With all the work and time that was put in the pot, it'll be nearly as expensive as pottery, I estimate. Don't want to discourage, just thinking...
Here is an image that looks similar to the ones I have..... thegardenpages.com/succulents-cacti-plants/color-change-crassula-capitella-succulent-plant-care/ Maybe once they get a bit more plump, they will look more like the typical image? I think they need the sun to change them to a nice red colour too.

Thanks Tom, yes a lot of work making a nice pot!

A neat idea for Stephan could be to make his logo the center hole, rather than a stamp.
Stunning in any material or process. Workmanship is phenomenal.. very talented guy.. thanks for sharing Nigel. Nice jades also
Very nice finish on the pots! That's a lot of new jades 😋

I've never had a potter contact me, I think I'm an outcast in the bonsai world!
Great video as usual. Thanks for sharing Stephan’s creations
Very cool pot . Love those. Great vid.

Just got another jade! My girlfriend bought it, and she chose a good one.
Nice to hear!
Great work and great results. Those are some really nice pots.
Fun video. Much more then just the trees, it adds to the adventure of bonsai. I hope Ryan reads this🤪
Great looking Pots! Fun new trees. Future Bonsai for sure. Nice work NIgel.
Thanks Dave, I hope the new trees grow I'm rooting for them!
Beautiful as always, inspiring me to create with nature
Those are nice pots! Their plants will be just as nice I'm sure! :)
Can you share the website where you ordered the City Style Penjing?
i made my own pot with the same softwares. I just have no idea how to give it such an amazing paint job....yet
Hi Nigel, you sure keep busy!
Cheers Nigel
Stephan's green Bonsai Pot is worthy of the Greek and Khmer Gods.
Very nicely done. What is the material of the pot? PETG?
Nigel! I was wondering if you could grow a jade bonsai from a single leaf propagation on your channel?
Nigel is Awesome!
Excellent! What software do you think he uses? Looks fancy!
Blender. Free, open-source 3D modelling software!
@@tomaremerald3403 wow, incredible. I use Sketchup, but that gets tricky when doing really detailed work. Thanks, will definitely give it a try!
Wow, very nice result. what is the computer program used for the designing stage?
I use Blender, it's the best 3d tool in industry and it's free since it's open-source
@@VanTheuni ok, thank you! I wil try it for fun
Does he share his stls?
I was just doing plant stuff myself!
Wish I could buy a cutting from you.
What program did he use to create the 3d pots?
I used Blender... it's open-source and free to use
A lot of work for just a plastic pot. I also think for top heavy crassula they don't have enough counter weight.

👌👌👌...!!!
Thanks Sunit!!!
Don't know why but all my jades trunks become like jelly and breakdown.
Sounds like you're giving them too much water. Treat them like cactus and let them dry out between waterings.
👏
Its time to buy 3D printer :)

They do not look like campfire jades. At least not according to google.

These cuttings are probably just very leggy, and greenish looking. This happens to succulents when they don’t have enough light ;)
