I did a Build with the Immolation Mod in Remnant From Hell and I vaguely remember in one of your vids that a Golden Plum should keep you HP up with the minimal amount of damage that that The Immolation Mod deals but that didn't happen for me. Any Input on that. Thank you.

I agree bro unlocking that archetype took an entire day no exaggeration. They should leave that archetype alone and let it be OP this is a PVE game anyway

When they change the game with buffs and nerfs, they change my experience compared to someone else's that already beat the game. I think they should sorted all this out before the game's initial release. I personally hate when they do this.
That's fair, as someone who's still going through the game it can really suck to have a lot of the gear you used be changed. Sorry to hear about that 🙁
Biggest issue i have is that I'm pretty sure the nerfs are still in effect even if you dont buy the dlc. I get nothing new, and only get worse. Wonderful.
I'm really excited to try out the changes to some of the Melee Weapons. I used a Melee Tank build to get though Apocalypse with my friend and the Stone Breaker, Atom Splitter and Huntress Spear were my go to picks. Plus Atom Splitter was really strong in certain set ups so these are some nice buffs for sure. Can't wait to pick this up again.
@@AjaxOutlaw Annihilation is annoying but the neutral dodge attack of the Atom Splitter and the Huntress Spear throw still counts as Melee Damage and are helpful for hard to reach bosses. It's much easier just shooting it though. Plus I saw that Steadfast, maybe the best mutator for the build I was using got a bit of a nerf so it won't be as tanky anymore (it WAS insanely good though so it makes sense)

DLC should be extended part of main campaign where the gameplay progress further after the main one. It's odd to reroll certain map in adventure mode to access DLC, at least that was the case last time.
They are natural parts of the game you just have to play it in adventure mode first. After your first roll these dlc areas will be integrated into the campaign

I mean on lower difficulty these nerfs don’t really matter. But I’m thinking, even 5-10% nerfs on some of these fragments and rings can make a 5 minute semi-difficult fight turn into a 10 minute panic on apocalypse. I mean as long as you got your dodges on point then you can manage but shit, anyone trying to do hardcore mode is so out of luck now it’s not even funny
The movement speed will be amazing. i got an apoc build to give me max speed, basically the highest defense, and still be able to cook EVERYTHING Alternatively, this may have killed my apoc gunslinger build
IDEA FOR ACTUAL SUMMONER REWORK: Other than some questionable neft most was realy nice buff Only thing i dont like about the patch and new dlc is rework for summoner. And i have an idea for it. I know this is a long text but hope the developer see and give some thought on it. For attack perk 20% all damages, 5% melee, skill, mod, range crt. PRIME PERK: 25% skill, mod cast speed. Double press to override, cooldown 35s. FIRST SKILL: 2 charge max 4 minion. Damage scales: skill + explosive. OVERDRIVE: summon 2 minons per charge 50% minions moving speed. Press to detonate deal 2m AOE, give 40% charge back upon detonate. Charge time: 15s. SECOND SKILL: 2 charge max 2 minions. Hit scan laser shoot( projectile keep messing with engineer turret mode need to get ripped of it.) Damage scales: skill + mod. OVERDRIVE: constant beams do 25% increases Damage compared to normal mode( make the beams change to red color and look bigger for cool factor.) Press to detonate give you 10s of 5% vampire. Charge time: 20s. LAST SKILL: 1 charge 1max minions. Our big minion do the same as now but Damage type: skill + melee. OVERDRIVE: change to Jump slams attack deal melee Damage in 3m AOE, 50% moving speed ( change his running animation to fast shoulder run animation to clear indication of him in "babarian" mode. Press to detonate returns 50% charge( this way when he low on hp you can choose to get back half charge or risk losing him for full charge time). Charge time: 35s. This way player can choose to play explosive style with first skill. Skill+ mod style with second skill. Or run in with melee build like a madness dual fighter with last skill.
Approximately 30% nerf to crit builds and status builds. But between buffs, bug fixes, reworks, and all the new items and archtype coming, I am sure that we will have much more build diversity.

I don't like that challenger got nerfed. I use him in most of my builds, kinda hurts since he's favorite archetype. I hope what gunfire games is cooking be worth the nerf.
The engineer class actually has a few rings that specifically benefit it! A’Taerii booster and Mechanic’s cog are rings to keep an eye out for. The first being a random find on N’Erud, and the second being a ring sold by Cass in the Ward (It may take some time for her to have it in stock but if you see it pick it up!) index of the scribe (A necklace from the Awakened King DLC) is also a pretty good pick as it boosts the weakspot damage of your engineer weapons by a nice amount. For your second archetype I’d recommend anything that boosts either total damage or skill damage. Summoner gives 35% more, handler gives 30% as well as ranged and melee damage. I personally use the rail gun from the third skill a lot so I prefer to max out as much skill damage as possible. Building for crit can also work, crit hits with all of engineer’s skills do great damage. There’s a ton of ways to build for Engineer!
@@AjaxOutlaw Weapons are totally up to you! I’d say pick weapons to complement your choice of Engineer skill. If you use the flamethrower use along net range weapons, if you use the Vulcan minigun or rail gun use something more close range. It’s entirely personal preference though, so use whatever you feel like!
It's funny, the patch notes are why I'm not buying the DLC. The weird Dev that is in every forum preaching about how amazing his "negative buffs" are, killed the game.
I think they should be, I can’t recall off the top of my head but I don’t believe any of the low health trinkets were nerfed. Grey health builds got s lot and they even buffed the consumable that helps you convert your health into it. So if anything your setup will have access to some buffed grey health trinkets now.
I do worry about that Shovel buff maybe too much but we well see tho, I usually don't like about nerfing in PVE but i'm really happy they want to make some unique weapon like corrupted Savior or Alpha / Omega fluids better with mod. to me I like my gun has great synergy with mod so i do really looking forward with upcoming update. Edit:Ok now i have read the whole patch note and see how much stuff got changed actually reminds me about the early BL3 days which is not a good thing. So yeah, I start to getting worry right now.
It's better that these nerfs happen now, especially if these are the only nerfs that are planned. It'll make that massive overhaul feel even better without any nerfs dragging it down.
I seriously hope they dont just adjust stuff based on statistics. Inb4 that one super skilled player who uses some obscure weapon and excels at it, and statistics says that its "too stong" and nerf it again... Mytics are no longer mythics. Mythics are just meh now.
Yeah a few of the mythics aren’t super worth it now. We can only hope whatever future plan they have for the fragment system makes up for the reductions to them. And I agree that stuff shouldn’t be balanced around statistics, it’s easy to misinterpret why players are running certain aspects so frequently, and then make changes that don’t address the core issue as to why they actually used them.

My Nightweaver themed cosplay build is gonna be eating, and I can't wait to do an Invoker Summoner/Summoner Invoker build that's themed around the three nature spirits of Yaesha to the maximum possible degree.
Pretty happy with all the changes on paper. None of 'em matter until they actually get time in the field, tho, which is 100% why they pushed the relic changes forward now. Need to get a clear indication of what folks are using and how and how they're affecting live play (not just whatever community heads are the loudest) before they actually push ahead with the major overhaul of that system.
I personally prefer the nerfs as it makes it that so you can use more weapons and not feel like you're handicapping yourself when some weapons can just melt everything while the rest does next to nothing
I’ve played a bit of the DLC so far and messed around with some of the changes to Archon and I kind of actually like the new passive mod power generation. I’ve been running Aphelion with it and still demolishing a lot of the enemies.
@WryHarpy I might try it out but I've been busy with no rest for the wicked and stellarblade coming out. I really used to love remnant 2 but let's be honest nerfs in a single player game shouldn't be a thing. It is a great game and I loved the last dlc but I don't understand why developers must nerf everything to make changes why not bring the lesser used weapons or archtypes up to the meta
@@pacman5800 I think one issue is that crits being one of the few multiplicative damage sources makes everything that’s a small additive source far weaker by comparison. Crits are only on a few trinkets out of the hundreds in the game. They could buff literally everything else around them, it’d be a lot of sharp increases in stats but it is possible, or they can adjust/nerf what few issues there are and buff up the others to a lesser degree. That seems to be their intention with these changes. Braided thorns is now a flat 10% cc now, I never saw myself using it before but now it’s essentially prenerf atonement fold without the bleeding downside. I personally believe that balance even in single player games is important, at least in the context of the game at play. Not everyone will agree with that and I think that’s fine, we all have our own views on what we think is best for the games we enjoy.
@WryHarpy that's a fair point and valid explanation of the game and overall adjustments. I guess it is good for the game for the long haul otherwise it would essentially be the same game with a few added items and it makes for repetitive gameplay. So having an overhaul and adjustments let's you use weapons and skills we wouldn't of used before hand. So I see what you mean by nerfs are good for games. Some games I don't agree but it is fair for long-term of the games life and gives it a fresh feel. I'll probably still play it but I am having a blast with a few others at the moment.
Aw yes the nerf notes the game has been downgraded all around how fun with five different builds gutted and no meaningful buff the game a chore now instead of a dlc

Crit Damage, and crit chance were WAY too easy to stack, it basically took no effort compared to other builds.
Acoustic people freak out when they see other people pull off numbers bigger than them. That's all this is.

How do you go about melee the annihilation?? I just beat the game yesterday and it seems unlikely to do

I just beat the game last night and learned of the dlc today 😂 so any tips? I want to build into the engineer class

So having an overhaul and adjustments let's you use weapons and skills we wouldn't of used before hand. So I see what you mean by nerfs are good for games. Some games I don't agree but it is fair for long-term of the games life and gives it a fresh feel. I'll probably still play it but I am having a blast with a few others at the moment.
Aw yes the nerf notes the game has been downgraded all around how fun with five different builds gutted and no meaningful buff the game a chore now instead of a dlc

Honestly don't see why so many people are mad at the nerfs when we got so many more buffs plus the game is still gonna be playable and we'll still be able to destroy everything💀
