Best sequence : pilot does not bail out with parachute, crashes plane in the ocean (close to beach), swims out, does not inform his superiors who think he is dead, pilot still in his flight suit, instead goes home to hug is daughter, and at that moment his unit commander comes and is pleased to see him alive... never mind going awol
Then a Cargo Plane lands on a Truck 🤣🤣🤣
I was wondering first that how he directly reached home from the crash site.. I.e. what transport he might have taken.. then I remembered he was able to run faster than army trucks. It was a cakewalk.
Also the drop tanks ( which carries fuel to fly longer) are used as air to air missiles and even bombs and these missiles chase the jets and not intercept and they literally copied scenes from other movies and the scene from behind the enemy lines even that movie scene is not realistic what were they thinking did they ask a 5 year old on what to do ?
And the Pakistani jets were flying so low and seemed slow as though they were floating.....and worst of all they showed MIG21s on the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya.....kuch tho research karne ka tha.....
@@KabirWorld That is still believable but that Vikram Singh Baz directly crashes into the ocean, does not bail whatsoever, swims till the beach unscathed and directly goes to meet his daughter. I mean Ajay Devgan ne bhi Logic ko bola hoga "Bolo Zubaan Kesari".

Just like they did in first 15 min of Saving Private Ryan..
We lived in Bhuj during the '71 war. The reality of war affects every citizen. I remember the sirens, blackouts, rationings, terror, triumphant marching army, and even distant bomb blasts. And I was only 4 years old.
There is no glory in war, folks. Only death and disaster. And when it is all over, no one would remember what started it.

Are we taking Indian Army and real life based war mission biopics as a considerstion here or showcasing of Army and war oriented movie (fiction) in general. Cause if latter is the case, i think Lakshya stands above URI
@Aniket Tiwari nah but few sequences are, jaise ki helicopter jana hi nahi tha original mission me, vo intern baccha nahi tha original me, Indian army ke pass khud ki techniques thi
@Aniket Tiwari the mission in hand was completely fictionalized.. matlab ek intern ko itna bada role play karne kaun deta hai bhai
@Aniket Tiwari i guess some of the action sequences would have been fictionalized for dramatic effect, but the context and facts behind those sequences must be real

The funniest scene is the indian fighter pilot who crashed into the ocean at a speed of around 700 kph and he came out of the water like nothing happened to him and within 5 minutes he was ready for his next flight. And the editing of the movie is most probably done in a cyber cafe
The difference is shershah potrayed nationalism and bhuj sold nationalism to us

Sher Shah movie was a masterpiece in my opinion.
Two of my favourite scenes were:
1) when they showed how indian army buried the enemey when pakistan refused to take the bodies of their fallen. The army buried them with respect , coverd in Pakistani flag and by islamic tradition, even though they were the enemy. This showcased how indian respects everyone, even their enemies.
2) When the Pakistani flag was on the ground, no one was stepping on it. This subtle detail showcased respect the Indian army gives even to the enemies.
There was also the madhuri dixit scene which humanised the enemies sitting in front. That's one of the most important things abt Shershaah. Black and white nahi he wo. Wo colorful he, where everyone shows different colors
I have just finished watching shershah just few minutes ago and can't stop crying since than, it was truly a masterpiece

The point is you can't make just about everything highly operatic and theatrical. It worked in Tanhaji 'coz of the legend attached to the story. But the OTT stuff won't work in a very compelling story that belongs to our relatively recent history. A bit of groundedness and subtlety would have done the trick.
This might be a very unpopular opinion but excluding the war scenes i felt tanhaji was a boring movie.
It proves that movie has to be good. patriotism alone can't sell movie
hatred is the last thing a person should pass to his/her children...
And to think of it, shows like Family Man at a fraction of the budget of such movies create far more compelling and engaging action with practical effects and very minimal vfx.
The action in Family Man was just mesmerizing. It was brilliant.
I so wanted to know how bad is this movie.
The moment I saw Sonakshi clean cut, without a single mud spot in her brand new clothes in the middle of building the air strip :D Ajay has been sporting same face for so many movies that I keep confusing his movies. This is exactly like what happened with Tiger Zinda Hai, actual story is reduced to a minor subplot.
BHUJ WAS LIKE ..aaj hum dialogue dialogue nahi sirf poem poem khelenge...
Sanjay Dutt single handedly killing almost a battalion deserves seperate Matlab Kuch Bhi episode 😂
There was an instance where single Indian soldier had destroyed battalion and killed around 200 enemies, but that was the case of Indo china war. More research is needed while making such films so that they can be as accurate as possible. A movie as old as LOC Kargil was much brilliant in comparison
When South Indian movies especially malayalam movies are becoming good to great.. bollywood movies are going from bad to worse...But said that I loved Mimi and Shershah.
True. Have you watched kurukshetram its a very good movie.
@@dalipsingh9765 Yes also have watched Keerthi Chakra..both movies were too good.
There are many but you seemed to be blind...😝😝😝
@@rameezrazaansari4534 Tell me some..
@@rahulmohan9857 if you dont know..it seems you.are not follwing good movies of bollywood . you only watch movies like race 3 cooli no.1 and set an opinion about bollywood. ..first start following bollywod properly...
Your analysis are getting better .. thanks for sharing 🤟🏾👍🏾
Sometimes I really feel Bollywood does not know how to make content for OTT. Since it's a pandemic and theaters are shut so they had to release their movies online but they were never made for OTT and always meant to be judged on box-office collections especially films of all "big stars".
Where regional cinema is making most of this situation and growing up rapidly, Bollywood is still stuck in 90s.
It requires tremendous mental strength to digest a movie like this. You got it man
They just went for a masala entertainment and pseudo nationalism. Shershaah will be remembered for a long time.
Only thing i didn't like in shershah was kiara's dialogue dilevery... It was a bit off for me in 1st half.... It would have been better in hindi...
End of the day Shershah is directed by a South indian Director Vishnuvardhan which made the difference.
Jai Hind👍
A telugu guy is always self proud about his caste creed language where ever he goes but couldn't utter his own language
Your comment doesnt make any sense. I can name 50 bad south Indian directors. North or South doesnt make any difference.
@@anitha2053 not really. I'm also a Telugu guy but I don't have any such mental issues 😂
Couldn't agree more bro. Spot on analysis.
I feel Sona can only act when she gets roles like lotera cuz maybe that's not acting that's how she is in her real-life due to which she doesn't really have to act.
No, lootera was directed by motwane while in other films ig there was no director
She was good in akira too
I disagree completely, she can act, she just makes poor decisions choosing films/trusting directors who don't director. Also her part in Lootera was so nuanced and brilliant there's no question of it being "just like her in real life" - she can be natural and charming even in masala roles, but Lootera was on a different level. Both her and Ranveer gave some of the best performances in their generation.
@@Cationna here's a deal she literally acts the same in all her flims it just fit right for lotera that's it end of story!
What about her performance in Ittefaq?
Nationalism in a war movie can be good, like Hackshaw Ridge, Uri , American Sniper. It can be good without nationalism - Dunkirk, 1917
Actually Hackshaw ridge was a movie detesting aggressive nationalism .You cannot compare it with Uri. It showed that even a guy who advocates non violence can serve the army in a lot more ways.
American Sniper is a god awful film. The story is full of made up nonsense and propaganda. Pure fiction as was the justification for the invasion of Iraq. Chris Kyle was a sociapathic, lunatic.
@@VasManHorrorLivesMatter it's one worst movies made by Clint Eastwood and surprisingly went for Oscar's
American jingoism
@@raghavchohda7290 Agree 100%. I have never been enamoured with Clint's directing outside those movies he also stars in. Last great one was Gran Torino IMO.
Hollywood war movies post 9/11 are either jingoistic, flag waving drivel made in cooperation with the Department of Defence or movies that boil down to 'Killing lots of innocent brown people made me feel sad'.
Can't speak for Indian war films cos I really haven't seen any apart from Kargil (a long time ago) and that sucker was so long I fell asleep.
I'll stick with horror films. Shame Bollywood can't make scary movies.
Jammy, kudos to you for going through this comic trajedy. I hope you're out of the trauma now.
two flims which made me cry....1) shersha 2)bhuj.... but not in the same sense... for bhuj I cried because it gave me a headache and I couldn't bear the torture to see full movie. on the other hand, shershaa is a gem. cried for about hours after watching the story of my hero vikram batra. and the movie shershaa is just mind blowing.
Totally agree with you. Even the trailer of bhuj was unbearable let alone the movie
On a sidenote , for "chennai express , but it's a horror movie " watch the playlists that I have
Shershah: dialogues are terrific
Bhuj: dialogues are terrifying

An unpopular opinion that Ajay Devgan character just should not exist. He is only there for being proud Maratha
The only thing I liked in this movie is the end credits 😂
ikr! The real photographs were the only sense of realism in the story
