I bought mine, stickered at 51k, but 5k in rebates, 45k for a car that is essentially the SRT 6.4 that you cannot buy now. From what I can tell, other than not having the adjustable suspension, I don't know what the difference. I have every option. I have this same identical car, 275s for the tires though.
I bought this exact car 10 hours ago. Spent 5 hours at the financing department lol. I don’t care what anyone says...this car is powerful as hell. Handles terribly in the rain/snow though unless you get custom tires
Man what, I got mine Tuesday and today was my first time driving in the rain today, you have to slowly accelerate from a red light like you have a flat tire or you going to slide 😂
Just hit 500 miles with my scatpack, time to have fun with launch control. Driving in ECO isn’t bad, got my “distance until empty” up to 299 miles lol. Awesome review Ben.
As far as the "jumpy" throttle goes, the ECM will eventually learn your driving habits and automatically adjust the throttle response while in default mode... aside from you making changes yourself using other modes. In fact, there are some who prefer that punch of torque they felt when they left the dealer... this can be re-had simply by pulling fuse #31 (for the ECM) for a few minutes, which will reset the ECM to what it was before it learned your habits.
If you're considering this vs a mustang or camaro here are the basic facts. +Challenger is the best at what it does. Which is going in a straight line +Challenger is the most comfortable +Challenger has the most power +Challenger has the most trunk space and legroom +Challenger feels like a true muscle car compared to the others which feel more like sports cars. -Challenger is a lot heavier than the others -Challenger doesn't handle quite as well as the others -Challenger feels like a one trick pony at times -Challenger Scatpack is more expensive than the other two. If you opt for the lower RT trim that's about the same price as the competition you lose a lot of power. +-?Challenger has worse fuel economy because it has more power and weight. Not sure if that's a bad thing considering no one buying a muscle car cares about this. Overall it's a great car and feels more true to the classic muscle car but that doesn't come with some downsides.
I have a 2015 Phantom Black Challenger Scat Pack I bought new. I love this car and have had no problems at all. i don't kill it but I do have fun every time I drive it. My Factory performance app shows 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and 0-100 in 11.9 seconds.

This is the second review of the Challenger Scat Pack where the reviewer tried awkwardly to climb in the back seat from the driver's side, who does that? It was probably Ben Hardy reviewing a different year Scat Pack. Normal people get in the back seat from the passenger side. When you pull the seatback forward, you can pull the whole seat forward without dicking around with the adjustment mechanism from that side. Also, if you don't get the 6 spd. manual, you're missing half the fun.
Good review as usual Ben! I recently (Summer 2022) traded up from my RT Shaker to a 2021 narrow body Scat Pack with The 8 speed Automatic. Awesome acceleration performance, and the SRT Dashboard is sweet....
I just bought a 2019 RAM. I like it but do not really need a truck. Sort of wish I had gotten one of these instead. I love the old muscle car looks. I also do not need a Hellcat. Scat Pack would be more than adequate.
No mention of one feature that I really like in my 2019 Challenger. The MDS (Multi-Displacement System) that comes built into the engines with automatic transmissions 6.4 Challengers and Chargers. MDS is Not available with the manual transmission. In normal driving mode, (not in Track, or Sport mode) the MDS drops off 4 cylinders when cruising between 50 and 70 MPH, without you even feeling it drops off 4 cylinders and improves your current gas mileage up to the 30-50 MPG range. I find it especially benificial when driving on the two-lane back roads in traffic and using the optional adaptive cruise control set the distance from the car in front of you, enjoy the tones from your 18 speaker Harmon Kardon stereo and see your gas mileage current gas mileage jump up into the 40's or better. As soon as you touch the gas pedal you back to 485HP and a lot lower MPG.
@James Dumas, Don't believe that gauge. Nobody gets 40-50 mpg except in Kia Rio. You might get 24 in a Scat Challenger on a flat road. Increase air pressure might yield 30mpg at your own peril.
I have a '19 Scat Pack. Your statements about the throttle being twitchy are really juvenile. Take her out of Sport mode maybe, and put her Normal mode, if that's still too much for you to handle then put her in Eco mode or Valet mode, in Eco mode she drive like the V6.
I had a 2015 Challenger Scat Pack manual transmission 6.4 and now I am driving a 2020 Mustang GT with Roush Supercharer Stage 2. I telling you than the Scat Pack has more low end torque than my Mystang supercharger. That 6.4 move that heavy car like nothing. Is really amazing engine. Is not replacement for displacement.
Rilla , Keep in mind the Mopar factory Techs will tell you the 8 speed automatic in sport mode will out shift anyone every time. Either way you will love it!!!
You’re good with a scat bro , my boy got one and he’s 19.. he didn’t have anything crazy before that , if you consider a gti crazy. I drove it too, it’s amazing, the acceleration isn’t crazy (as in it doesn’t push you back or isn’t uncontrollable) and the drive is smooth overall, by the way my boy has the charger, but I don’t think it makes a difference, the weight is only a bit less on a challenger
The Challenger Scat Pack is not a budget muscle car. It's the most sensibly correct price to pay for a muscle car. Everything else is way overpriced and not worth the money.

My Cuz just bought one and its the same color same RT 392 Scat Pack. Sounds good. For the power I think that is pretty good.
