I ordered one about 3 weeks ago 2021 scatpack with wide body shaker. How long is total delivery time? they keep delaying mine.

I have a 2019 widebody in white. I get so many more compliments on it than I ever did in my regular bodied SRT.

We're talking about a Dodge here. A company virtually bankrupt and owned by Fiat/Ferarri. Dodge is crap. They make like 3 cars anymore. Why is that? Because they make crap. I paid $53k for mine back in Jan 2022. It was a great deal in my book. Even if prices do come down in the coming years, my dealership will send me rebates in the mail to put towards my loan to reflect the price change

@@travisdurham29 it’s a given. Just like when you buy an item in store. If it goes on sale a week later for $20 less, the store will send you a rebate for the difference. Just a month ago, the dealership came through and got me the $500 gas card they were offering on new vehicles even though I purchased before then
Ordered my 2019 b5 blue widebody scatpack challenger and hell yea its worth it. honestly you need that extra meat on the road for acceleration/grip around the corners
Great job on these reviews, I love the Challenger. I think the Scat Pack version is the sweet spot for most people.

Love how the new R/T logo is a lot bigger than the previous generation ScatPacks. That big red logo stands out a lot and I think it looks even better than an SRT with a cat next to it
I have a 2016 Shaker. Did a couple tweaks, Diablo Sport tune, larger Throttle Body, and bumped up the tires. Love the car. Will probably never get rid of it.

I LOVE the new leather stitching on the dash and door trim for 2020. Much better than the rough “elephant skin” like material on previous years.
My pick over the other challengers love the scat packs the wide bodies look awesome.

I have a 2020 widebody with 2k miles being delivered to me in 10 days, paid $49k and it's the same as 2022, I couldn't wait few months, also have a 17 RT with staggered wheels, 305s in the rear.
Really want this vehicle but with 2 kids and a newborn(carseat) will thst fit with enough space or should i go with charger widebody scat?!?
Whats the factory code i have a 2019 wide body and i got locked out before had to disconnect the battery before i could re activate the normal functions

It’s about time for Dodge to upgrade the 6.4 Hemi to 500 horsepower.
you can grab 15 horses pretty easily with some basic, non-intrusive mods. even a KN air filter for like 50 bucks might get you that on the 392.

It's already making more than 500. They are underrating it. Stock Dyno results show this.

@@smartguy6243 depending on MSRP, you should be able able to up get up to 8k off. For example, if MSRP is 56k, you can be 48k out the door.
I've got a 2016 Challenger Hellcat and I'm thinking of upgrading to the Widebody for the suspension and body upgrades alone. Torn between if I want to go back with a Hellcat or go with the 392. My car has been flawless, but I rarely use it to even halfway of its capabilities. I've driven a Charger 392(standard body) and that thing can move! Choices choices....
The 392 WB is better setup for daily driving... It's 200lbs lighter up front and the front and rear sway bars are hollow instead of solid like the hellcat WB. I'm going to order mine because it's hard finding the one I want with a manual. Good luck in your choice, above anything else, I'd ask myself if the supercharger whine is worth more than the well balanced 392 WB.
I'd honestly go with the 392 if you're not using much of the hellcats power. It's only about a second slower in the 1/4 and it grips way better.
I have this car in the vid but 2019. I had a 2016 charger hellcat which I traded in. I live in the burbs and never used the power and even when I do the ass end is all over the place. Digged the widebody look to much to not make the trade but here in Canada this car was 60k CDN and the hellcat which is the exact same car but has the supercharger is 100k. That supercharger is not worth 40k ffs. No regrets man I love this car 500hp is more then enough and the cars a good deal imo. Cheers.
idk where you got the feeling that this car had softer ride feel compared to the hellcat.. this one has the stiffest suspension setup out of all the challenger trims! great video regardless, thanks for the review!

Factory break-in procedure for the first 100 miles: Maximum speed 55mph, engine speed below 3,500 no more than 50% throttle.
I hope the tech that does the PDI mine adheres to that......lol
My house was 90 miles from the dealership. I drove it at 80mph on my way home.

305's on all four corners, that's easily $2000 in upgrades right there
Plus going from 9.5inch rims to 11inch rims......wheels/tires alone have to be $3000-$3500
The original looks better, but I'm sure the performance of this one can compensate

Wide body just makes it so much sexier. Still wish they would make an AWD trim. That's the only thing that stops me from buying one these or a Hellcat.

The wide body & the 11” tires are very cool looking. Do you know if the vented seats run through the a/c or is it just cabin temperature air?

They don’t make the srt8 anymore so there’s your answer. If want an srt you gotta it used or get a hellcat. Good news, the difference between the scat pack and srt 392 used to be the srt track app where you can adjust the suspension and the hood. As you can see, the scat pack now has the app and the hood from the previous hellcat. So, they’re the same thing.

don't like the 'eyelid' fenders. If they blended better I might like. They look stuck on.
I try so hard to try and like the wide body but I just can’t. Those fender flares don’t sit right with me.
You can fit behind the passenger seat... I have a Challenger and my 6'4 tall brother fits in the back seat just fine... I consider the Challenger a 3 seater... Ain't no body sitting behind me 😆

Sport mode with a 6.4 in the wet. Not the brightest decision. Moreover, a test of the handling characteristics would have been better accomplished on a winding highway - not a circle around the block among moderate traffic where the posted speed limit is mere 35mph. Just sayin.

I completely agree. I have the 2019 wide body and the thing that bothers me the most is the RT badge. There is not one difference between this car and the hellcat other than the engine. Hell the 2018 model had a SRT model with much less than the wide body 2019 and 2020

The Challenger is never going to handle well so the wide body package just adds weight and bigger tyres.
The normal Challenger scat pack can be fitted with different offset wheels so 255 265 or 275 tyres can be fitted to the back.
Before I bought my widebody scat, I was looking at a used straight body hellcat and looked into putting 305s on the 9.5imch rims and 2 tire shops told me they wouldn’t do it......not safe.....too narrow of a rim for 305s
Beautiful car, but they’re a 2018 or 19 hellcat at my local dodge dealer cheaper It’s not a wide body, but 707hp out weighs the wide body in my opinion. You can buy the wide body aftermarket. I don’t even think it needs to be cut.
Ryan 1995 you’re not getting a 2018 hellcat for $40k. Also, it will cost you more to add all the items after the fact than to get the widebody
How tall are you? The back seat looks like it can only accommodate a shorter person.

1aikane I drive my Challenger with the seat all the way back (I’m 6’), almost touching the back seat. Only a legless person could sit behind me. A tall person could sit behind the passenger seat if it’s moved forward a little.

Not worth it unless you prefer the look. Yes better traction but if your not racing it dosent matter. Narrow body is a better daily driver.
