Black, white, hispanic, asian, martian, doesn't matter. Nobody can ignore the sheer power of that breakdown. You have to give it the respect it deserves. Even if it's just a simple head bob, you can't hear it and not react. Love seeing people react to awesome shit not of their normal taste. They both get it. Rock the fuck out dude and chick!

They estimated that over five hundred thousand people attended that show. That’s unprecedented. I saw Pantera probably 12-13 times and I’ve seen hundreds of bands play live. And to this day, Pantera played the best concert I’ve ever seen.

I love watching my black US cousins reacting to metal. I can see a time soon when black metal bands will start making great music. Please do Holy Wars by Megadeth studio version and then Master of Puppets by Metallica. Love from Australia.

Black metalheads are already kicking ass! There have been and still are several great metal bands out there with one or more black musicians. Body Count, Sevendust, Killswitch Engage, Skindred, Fire From the Gods, Animals as Leaders just to name a few.

This concert was so important because it was one of if not the first times that American bands were allowed to play in Russia following the fall of the Soviet Union. That’s why there were 500k people in the crowd. They were just released from 70 years of communism.

    • @bogdani.4497

there were over 1.500.000 people in the crowd, but aroud that number they stopped counting. and because it was the first time that American bands were allowed in Russia, metal was at this level for the first time there. and most of the people that went to the concert had no clue how to act or how to react, hence the violence that took place there

To truly understand this band you gotta check out the VH1 Behind The Music on Pantera. The guitarist and the drummer are brothers and they started the band. Fame and fortune never went their heads. They were the most down to earth people youd ever meet. They loved life and appreciated absolutely everyone. They treated total strangers like family. RIP Dime and Vinnie!
