Used this video to troubleshoot my Goodman furnace not heating. Found that the pressure switch was stuck open. Verified the switch was faulty with my multimeter checking for continuity while under pressure. No continuity. Ordered a new switch for overnight delivery and installed it. Now my furnace is back in operation and saved myself a service charge. Thanks for creating this video.

On my 2004 American Standard/Trane 80% gas furnace AUD060R936K5 the inducer comes on then goes off and the fan blows. If I bump the control board it will function properly sometimes and run until the set temp is reached. Then the next time it will go back to not starting. Also a few times I wiggled the control board and it reset the temperature on the thermostat to 62 degrees, weird. I am thinking it must be the control board. Maybe one of the solder joints is cracked or a bad relay. It started when I had 3 flashes from the board which indicates "Pressure Switch Error". Being a novice I replaced the Pressure Switch and Hose and cleaned out the port. Since that made no difference I then replaced the Flame Sensor, Hot Surface Ignitor, Limit Switch and Filter. I also removed the burners and using a wire brush cleaned the burners and the channels in between. I checked the Flame Rollout Switches and they are not tripped. No carbon monoxide detected. I have a new thermostat that I installed 3 months ago that has newer batteries and since the furnace functions properly sometimes, I believe the thermostat is fine. I even cleaned out all the cold air returns. My furnace uses a White-Rodgers Intell-Ignition control board. I found a refurbished one on ebay with 60 days return and the seller pays return shipping. I did check the fuse and tightened the thermostat connection screws at the board. If it ends up being the board I may have some spare parts for later. Does anyone have any input or similar problems?

I bought a house 3 month ago doing the summer. The fan is blowing but there is no heat. When I turn the thermostat off. The fan kelp running. I had to turn it off at the fuse box.

Never heard of or saw such thing as " defective roll out switch " , if it's tripped then that means most likely a problem with the HX

Welcome to my world. I have 2 roll-out switches on my Carrier. One is bad. One has continuity and the other can get continuity if I play with it enough. Someone replaced them in the past with the wrong aftermarket parts. I have OEM Carrier switches arriving tomorrow. I always use OEM parts for all appliances.
