/ fender
Dear Fender: Please reissue this pedal.
Please for the love of GOD PLEASE RE RELEASE THIS!!!! The demand's there, now we just need the supply!
BRING THIS BACK
I WANT this pedal.. but I cannot find it! FENDER bring us this awesome pedal back!
AndreeTheGuitarist update theres a few on offerup, and on reverb. Best of luck
Freqout.
@@TumbleTrashOfficial PLZ stop telling anyone about freqout . my secret weapon . PLZ! it's my always on pedal YEAH< BUTT What's the deal with insanely priced pedals that people will pay anything for, that aren't for sale? Like a Fender Runaway, a KORG MIKU. We need Behringer, Danelectro, T.T., Mooer, Rowin, Caline et al to step in and get our money!
@@peterwelsh1932 what?
Got it! Found a beautiful; in the box for $180. Had the wrong power adapter in the box though. It had an AC(?) power with it; but it looks like it needs the regular 9v DC that everything else takes. Immediately started earning its keep.
now this is an interesting pedal. sounds very natural to me.
and it's nice to see that the folks at Fender can actually play the guitar! I had worked for Line6 and most of those guys didn't know anything about guitars let alone playing them...
Line 6 totally sucks, everyone knows that. It is not so bad when you are 16, broke, and first getting into guitar, but later on when you want to gig, other gear is more often the option.
BRING THESE BACK. I'm too much of a lazy bastard to point my guitar at the cabinet hoping for a miracle.
This is the best pedal I have ever heard. So why is it no longer maid?
i never knew these existed... its pretty amazing imaging hendrix being able to do that with a pedal.. Where can I find one?
Up your ass and to the left
Hendrix wouldn't need one. He already dimed his amps for natural feedback at will.
one of the coolest pedals i have seen and heard!!
I bet the views on this skyrocket in the next few days since Scott Grove did a video on it. Really cool little effect. I can't believe it only ran for a little while and never caught on!
It is like being able to introduce the eBow effect at will. I agree, I would consider trying and buying a pedal like this. I assume that is is most effective with single note playing (not chords).
Didn’t know about this pedal. It’s amazing. Want one
This is a great pedal, its on the pedal wish list!
bring this pedal back. this is very cool. i really wanna buy one but cant find one anywheree
To answer your questions:
1. It will not compromise the guitars overall sound. It has a full bypass path and the effect is added to the guitar signal in parallel.
2. The pedal is made of die cast. Feels very sturdy.
3. Click on the link in the description for an overview. A few highlights: Harmonic selector switch lets you choose among fundamental, upper-fifth and sub-octave harmonics in different preset combinations. "Full Wet" switch simulates backward-recording effects.
4. MSRP is $199
Does this require a "real feedback loop," i.e. guitar next to speaker, or can this be used in front of a DI for VST amp emulation? If the later, everyone who records direct should love this.
If the former, I suppose this is like a sustainer pedal with a dry wet expression control...
I've done that, and it sounds crazy, I think you'd like it.
that white guitar in the beggining is awesome!
It sure does look awesome
Fender ! You know what to do and we are waiting.
It wasn't sold directly by Amazon or anyone else. But it was on sweetwater and I've used that site before, so I know where I can get one. That sounds like something I would use in my band.
I could have A LOT of fun using this with my locking tremolo!
looks sound like a ebow dude! I want this pedal for playing Nu metal extended intro feed back for from the inside thanks!
@letterbekmen No he does that in other albums, listen to the song before the beginning he uses feedback, i dunno if its a pedal or natural feedback
just make this one more time fender this is sickk!!!
looks awesome
people are forgetting that the fact that it's an expression pedal not only makes it possible for you to control feedback but it also makes you control harmonics... and yes i mean the individual voicings of the guitar... this could turn the guitar into so much more than 6 strings
Bring it back
Jason Ingram makes a great sound with that pedal, looks pretty handy
The pedal has been modeled and it is available now in the tone master pro
i am interested in how well it tracks polyphony.
i'm just intressted in knowing 4 things... 1st will it compromise the guitars overall sound with buffers and stuff like that??? 2nd is the pedal made of plastic???? if it is (cause it looks like it), why would you make an expression pedal out of plastic???? 3rd what can you control using this pedal besides the level of feedback??? 4th how much????
Where do i get one of these magical devices?
Can't find one to buy...
I'm still trying to hunt one of these down!!
I will buy this pedal right now if you reissue it Fender! You did a lousy job of marketing it. That isn’t the pedal’s fault or the lack of sales. Fire your marketing department! If you had marketed the pedal as an alternative/combination to the eBow and EHX Freeze you would have picked up flanker markets as well.
Is the pedal spring loaded or can it be set at any position and left there?
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BRING THIS BACK
Can you rebuilt that with wide harmonic type?
It was the Gretsch George Harrison signature - it's basically a '57 Duo Jet featuring the same mods that George's had.
the pedal ran away :(
This is my list of pedals.
Reissue this please I want ut
Please god bring this back
I just picked one, and its a fun pedal... just have to get used to it.
Ahh crap.. I thought I was done buying pedals!
Damn you Fenderrrrrr!!!!! >:^ (
Did they stop making this or something I can't find it anywhere?
What is this telly you are playing ?
Very cool!
Absolutely right.
kinda intersting seeing the first pedal fender puts out in a while to be a FEEDBACK pedal of all things.
I want it !
will this work in the UK?
I can use one of those. Its so hard tryna activate feedback naturally off the amp when you live in a apartment lol
really? this is the only video on all of youtube on this pedal? did it not catch on? i'd love to run one of these through my 66' tremolux =)
nice cry for attention.... no one cares what amp u own
That may be the COOLEST pedal I've seen since....since.....Since, well I dunno.....What IS that thing??? A compressor with a foot-controlled sustain?? Fender has topped the "Blender" it seems!!!! As soon as I get money from a GIG I'm buying one!
Well, it would help quite a bit. Not everyone has the luxury of cranking an amp every single day, and even in a studio it's kind of difficult to achieve feedback from the monitors. Personally, I think this is a good idea, it's like a sustainer built in a pedal.
Digital or analog?
so is what john frusciante using in 'before the beginning'?
Neat pedal, but I want to know more about that guitar!
Question is 1) is it polyphonic like a sustainer ou monophonic liek an E-bow.
2) does it work with a clean sound ? The demo uses to much drive to me....
Reissue this please!!!
omg...where can i buy it ?
I have a brand new one of these still in the box.
not a fair contest , considering each guitar in this vid has it`s own sound set up (fx etc ) i`d like to hear each of the guitars in this vid on the first guitars set up :)
What's up with old Boss DF-2 as well as new FB-2? Don't think this pedal's sound will be better than Boss.
fender. please . BRING runaway pedal BACK again.
Cool pedal, but not a very good demo, though. How does it sound with chords? And more clean settings?
The Holy Grail Of Shoegaze
Is anyone making anything similar that is available/affordable?
You can find it on ebay
i wish this would make a comeback and if it does i'll search anywhere including heaven or hrll just to buy this!
Checkout the Digitech Freqout
I will literally throw money at fender if they rerelease this!
They did then cancelled it
O.K ….like all ‘feedback’ pedal demos before it…we see several demonstrators playing single note lines up and down the guitar fretboard… Now, it is possible that I may be in the minority here…but I’d really love to know or more to the point hear if any of these feedback pedals can handle chords ? …..This would be the deal breaker for myself as I have a particular song in mind that I could use it for…well, more than one song actually…
combine it with a killswitch then make magic bb
I can't even find a used one!
This would do well in today's guitar market. Looks like whatever is out there costs anywhere up to 800 bucks
I still can't get over the fact that they produced this thing for literally five minutes and then discontinued them forever.
this is it exactly, and if a talented early adopter gets creative with it,it might just become the "whammy pedal" of this decade.
I like.
No, he uses what's called reverse soloing. play the chord progression backwards, records the solo the other way, than play the tape the right way. it's like talking backwards from a tape, only more detailed, and the notes are getting stronger, or a more simple way, is a reverse delay (like the Backtalk pedal from danelectro.) IDK what he did, amazing anyway.
Just picked mine up.. Found one is a small shop..
Lucky
Who knew. Tie Domi can rock a pretty fucking good guitar.
Does anyone know of one for sale? really hard to find :(
I have one on eBay right now for sale. USA only though
@@ShinraXSoldier I want it let me go look
This takes back a lot of pedalboard space just get a DigiTech Freqout lol
why is that guy using a Jackson?
To show off the "feedback" i heard very little of, try engaging that thing with a sustained note, rather than on for a fraction of a second with some "look how fast I can play crap. Might be a fun pedal but that was a horrible demo.
exactly my issue with any feedback pedal demo... I wanna see some Kurt Cobain level feedback!
jeff litchfield right? These guys sound wack lol
Esquire guy didn't seem that bad tho but the others were pretty eh
they came up with creative uses. Y'all know there's a volume knob on yer amp, right? Zane Cobain? Amps have a level control built in
Sounds like an ebow but on the floor
There's one on Reverb. $450
This is sooooo fucking cool.
Price??? This looks like a fun toy :)
Rocking
amazon, ebay... its new, so highly unlikely that they stopped already lol
1:47
Sounds a lot like live Page at some points.
And Gretsch, Guild and EVH.
Everytime I find one of these nowdays it's like $400 which it's starting to look like I'll have to pay if I really want this rare pedal for the price I'd rather just install a sustainiac and the same result but no one makes a 8 string sustainer and from what I've been seeing and hearing the freqout and boss pedal don't hold a candle to this pedal
This is like my Wayne's World strat. One day.......
Just get a Boss FB pedal. Trust me. Or a sustaniac
Really.
