This is possibly the only music I can comfortably sleep with playing. It's the closest thing to heaven I can imagine. Hundreds to thousands of voices, sounding like angels, singing away in happiness.
Awesome job! This is the first U2 song that really grabbed me, and their music was among the things that gave my life direction as I was coping with high school, and coming of age.
Thank you for doing this excellent choir cover to one of the most memorable songs of the 80s, from an album - The Joshua Tree - that is arguably one of the best albums in rock history. Every song that U2 made from that album would sound great in a choir setting.
See the stone set in your eyes See the thorn twist in your side I wait for you Sleight of hand and twist of fate On a bed of nails she makes me wait And I wait, without you With or without you With or without you Through the storm we reach the shore You give it all but I want more And I'm waiting for you With or without you With or without you I can't live With or without you And you give yourself away And you give yourself away And you give And you give And you give yourself away My hands are tied My body bruised, she's got me with Nothing to win and Nothing left to lose And you give yourself away And you give yourself away And you give And you give And you give yourself away With or without you With or without you I can't live With or without you Oh With or without you With or without you I can't live With or without you With or without you
Nowadays I can't hear any version of this song without thinking of the brilliant series finale of The Americans. The sight of Paige standing at the train station made my jaw hit the floor. Beautiful performance!
ever since i discovered ccc ive been listening more to you guys than the original songs. also you should consider covering heartbeats by the knife, kind of jose gonzalez style ; )
Aa a 30 something aussie... im getting peak alibrandi memories here... this is such a fucking beautiful song, that was made so sad by that fucking amazing movie
Unbelievable this has to be by far one of my best song by U2 and this was great do more do some Madonna earlier one's from the 80's or do you really want to hurt me by culture club
We've done a bunch of Madonna: BORDERLINE (twice), EXPRESS YOURSELF, INTO THE GROOVE, LA ISLA BONITA (four times!), LIKE A PRAYER (twice), and MATERIAL GIRL (twice). We haven't done Culture Club's DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME, but we've done KARMA CHAMELEON three times. Search our YT and Soundcloud pages!
Was the guy serious at the very end of the clip, saying that this was the 60th take!? He clearly knew that this take was THE one. (It shows all the hard work and level of perfectionism that goes into producing something this good) It was definitely worth it. Amazing job by the singers to maintain that level of passion and enthusiasm after 60 takes. . Having said that though i think will easily listen to this 60 times without getting fed up of it, it's so good.
This hits different when you actually have loved someone you can't live with or without
This is possibly the only music I can comfortably sleep with playing. It's the closest thing to heaven I can imagine. Hundreds to thousands of voices, sounding like angels, singing away in happiness.
this is a perfect example why music will always be the greatest .
Got goose bumps as soon as the vocals started. This is why I love choirs. Multiple voices combined that creates a unique perfect voice
All towns, cities every community everywhere needs this happening. Bring the voices together. SING sing until your lungs unite.
Im constantly blown away at the beauty and talent of these singers
bringing back those old Ross and Rachel memories
haha 😍👌
Awesome job! This is the first U2 song that really grabbed me, and their music was among the things that gave my life direction as I was coping with high school, and coming of age.
Truly LOVE how all of the ladies are having a wonderful time singing this. Their expressions say it all.

Another beautiful arrangement. Who is cutting onions on my deck again?
Goddam onions Brian!
I’m not crying. You’re crying.
Crying over my lunch at work. Thank you.
with or withiut you, I can live...♡
Que bacan ver a estos Ochenteros como disfrutan y transforman un exito pop a una sinfonía hermosa de coros ... Felicitaciones........
See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side
I wait for you
Sleight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
And I wait, without you
With or without you
With or without you
Through the storm we reach the shore
You give it all but I want more
And I'm waiting for you
With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you
And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away
My hands are tied
My body bruised, she's got me with
Nothing to win and
Nothing left to lose
And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away
With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you
Oh
With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you
With or without you
There’s no other instrument as magnificent as the human voice.

This is the best one I've seen of yours. The separation of the male and female voice parts give it a really nice depth and sound.
