The Cello is the most beautiful instrument. Pula Arena was constructed during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian, who was also responsible for founding the Colosseum. So many memories fade over time but not a visit to this ancient arena. A place to enrich the mind and soul of your modern day gladiator.
It reminds me of my parents fortieth anniversary when they slow danced to the original. They both passed away three years ago, but I KNOW they would have loved this. I’m smiling through the tears. ❤️

Let me share a story. In 2014, I was in 8th standard in school, and my brother first introduced me to the 2Cellos. I was not that overwhelmed by them at that time. 2 years passed and suddenly I found this performance on UA-cam. Since then, I never stopped listening to them. In 2016, I had to undergo an operation, and I remember my 15 year old listening to 2Cellos just before I was taken to the Operation Room. I don't know whether I'll ever get to see you guys live, but you guys really mean a lot to me.
One of my favorite songs ever and possibly my favorite cover. I've seen this video, many years ago. It seems to have been recommended to me again at a poignant time in my life. I had tears of both joy and pain. I hope to hear it again in a few years under better circumstances. I can sit in a dark room, and be enraptured by the way you guys play this song, over and over again. There’s many contexts that this music would be spirit stirring in....I can imagine that upper row of a massive open air auditorium with thin acoustics would be one of them.
A cello combined with modern music is a great combination. A cello has a huge variance. Hard play, soft play, loud or silently. Classical music doesn't get these variance. Only good pop music can give a cello the place to its capabilities.

I never thought anyone could do this song justice but after hearing first Pagagnini and now this, i am in awe. I am a 40 year old male and this song still has me in goosebumps and tears.
These guys shouldn't have split up. They sounded amazing together, going solo didn't work for any of them I believe.

I can sit in a dark room, and be enraptured by the way you guys play this song, over and over again. A cello combined with modern music is a great combination. A cello has a huge variance. Hard play, soft play, loud or silently. Classical music doesn't get these variance. Only good pop music can give a cello the place to its capabilities.
