Bought one. Ordered a brand new unit. Had my doubts. Fingerprints on new camera inside the box after I opened it. The nut on the suction cup was stripped. Got a new suction cup from online. It works and it works good. Oh yeah, there were no instructions in the box as well. Somebody did a bum up job of repackaging it.

I have just got this product and the instructions are so small I am glad I found this. As for the rear camera does the red wire need to be connected to make it work or will it be powered from the front camera?
Rear camera is powered by connecting it to the reverse lights. If you can return the dashcam, I would suggest returning it. The rear camera quality isn’t good.
How do you know it’s recording? Noted that the file was empty after a couple of days use.

Great video man, was looking for a review on it. Decided to get it after I came back to my vehicle and found that I was a victim of a hit and run. I got home and purchased it right away. How does the motion detection work for you?
same! parking hit and run night before 4th of July.... ugh. this looks like a listing I got on amazon called "MYPIN" but a newer version, it has a setting called parking monitor, and there are no night vision etc. settings, that's supposed to be automatically detected. If I am not mistaken motion detection is a separate setting from the G-sensor and parking monitor?

How do I set up so that whe put on reverse, the display shows the back view.. All I get is the led lights o rear camera come on but nothing on the display.

The night recording quality wasn’t good. I had made a video about daytime and night time. Daytime was mediocre.

Hi there, I've noticed that the rear view camera comes only with a red( positive ) wire that you can connect to the reverse lights of the car but it doesn't come with the negative(ground) wire. Will the LED lights on the rear view camera switch on still without the negative wire? Thanks
I purchase a dual lens vehicle Black box DVR super HD 1296p from wish it shows on the box that there's a rear camera unit but when I went in open the box It did not have the rear camera unit included I purchased it in January of 21 and I'm just now trying to set it up. I can't seem to chat with a human person in customer service so can I purchase a rear camera unit for this item I purchased?

I enjoyed for video but video already 2 years old. I am looking for a dual system with the screen monitor but better resolution. Any recommendations ?
BlackVue is very good. Though I still use it, the speaker is broker. Not having a working speaker isn’t a big deal.
Another dual unit I still use is the one from VicoVation. But, they have newer units that I haven’t tested. I plan to replace the VicoVation unit this summer. I think I’ll swap it with XiaoMi 70mai. I posted a review of the 70mai a few weeks ago. I like the 70mai because it records in 2k rather than 1080.

Power on rear light
It hooks up to the power on the reverse light, RED. It gives the camera the signal to go into reverse mode when reversing (full screen). If not hooked up correctly the reverse view stays small with no guide lines.
What is a static blue light? I thought recording mode was a flashing blue light.

It automatically deletes oldest video to make room for newer video. But don’t get this brand as other brands have better video quality.

How to set loop recording. From what I understand loop recording will replace old footage with the new one when the memory card is full. But mine just ask to format the memory card instead.
Did you ever get an answer on the loop setting? I am having the same problem.
No. After the last firmware update, loop recording stopped working for me and it would fill up the card instead.
I got one but it keeps turning on and off all by itself ? So disturbing... What can i do?
See if you can return yours or at least exchange it.

There isn’t a wireless transfer option to android or iOS smartphones. Please don’t get this unit. I made a follow up review video and found the unit’s nighttime performance to be poor.

Hi i just got mine today, and had it all set up including the rear camera. All work great, but using it in the night time is very dull, hardly see anything! Checked the instructions and can't see any settings that will help to brighten up the contrast. Is this normal, or am i missing something? P.s great vid.
I just noticed mine haven't got that "enhance night vision" feature on it like yours!

Hi I have just purchased this Dashcam, playing around a program came up so you can alter the closing downtime, from 3 sec 6 sec and 10 sec, the camera is set at 10 sec, I would like to change to 3 sec, now I can not find this program, I did notice on the bottom left of the screen there were 2 vertical lines with arrows going, either way, I may have altered something there, and now I don't want to play around because everything else is OK. That’s how reverse lights work. Power isn’t sent to the light unless I put the car in reverse.

Hey, why the file recording always damage? Because of the memory card? I can't play the video.
Would some videos play but others do not? Format the micro sdcard. See if it still happens. Use another microSD card (another brand if available) to see if it still happens. Because after these two and it still has problems then I think it’s the dashcam that is the culprit.
I had the same issue using a PNY 32gb card, the card turned out to be faulty, replaced it with a Kingston 32gb and is working perfect.

Not really. You can adjust the exposure to make night recording a bit brighter but this dashcam doesn’t do a good job with low light recording.

Hello. It already automatically records when powered on. There is no way for us to stop recording automatically, unless we remove the microSD card or unplug it.

Voice recording with high noise in the background...How to overcome this problem?
I had the same problem, loud noise in the background, i simply turn off thr voice recording setting.
So if you get in the crash and it only records five minutes at a time how do you get the video you want
Upon impact, a min before and after the impact are saved. This save is different as it is a different file and won’t roll over. Normal continuous recording saves are still occurring.
Don’t wait too long after the crash to remove the microSD card and copy the contents to your computer or smart device.

AwkwardHamster ok so you say don’t want to long how long is to long. Like a hour or so
If accident happens in front of you and you press the hazard button soon afterward, like 10 or so I forget what the manual says, that will flag the current recording so it will not be erased when recordings roll over.
Then later you can copy the files off the microSD card.
Even if you did not press the hazard button the recording will still be on microSD card as long as you don’t take too long to retrieve it or else it will be erased.
Dashcam is always recording and when memory card is almost full it will erase oldest footage to make room for newest footage. It’s about 100 MB for 3 min of video. If I use a 32gb microSD card the card stores about 3 days based on my daily commute. That’s why people try to use higher capacity microSD cards. If an accident happens in front of me on a Monday but I wait until Saturday to copy the microSD to my computer, the Monday footage would have already been erased.
I can either copy the footage Monday night. Or, press the hazard button the moments after the accident occurs so that it will remain on the microSD card up until I manually erase it or format the card.
I start recording my dash camera than reach 5 minutes than restart ovee again to 5 minutes than again again.. Cannot record more longer?
It should have created multiple files, not just one 5 min file. If that’s the case then try to get the unit replaced.

File creation is all automated and should not require users to manually create a file. I think the unit broke. See if the manufacturer or seller can replace it.

It’s needed if you use the rear camera. But, I do not use the rear camera due to poor image quality.

There should be a screen shut off timer in the menu system.

It automatically records at powerup if there is a microSD card. Or if you were referring to emergency video saving, press the OK button right after the incident

The recording length depends on the microSD card capacity. If I used 32 GB card, I can record about 270 minutes of footage.

How to lock important footage from being deleted?
If there was impact and the impact sensor detects it, the footage will automatically save and can’t be erased unless you erase it.
If the event happens you can quickly press the save button and it will manually save that clip so the auto erase will bypass it and only way for it to be erased is if you erase it. All dashcams I have since across have these functions.

Check your connections ensure its properly connected at the DVR and the rear connection.

If the shock sensor was triggered the recording won’t be deleted as part of the loop eroding. Regular recording will be deleted automatically.

The delete automatically happens when card is near full. It will delete the oldest video so a new video can be created. This happens with all dashcam.
But if you want to delete everything there is a format/erase option in the settings. It is recommend to format the card every 2 months.

If you change a microSD card the same thing happens, then the issue is with the dashcam.
no one mentions how crap it is with putting memory card in slot. u think its in but it isnt and gets stuck inside. its happened twice now and had to open the unit to get them out, pain in the arse
How did you open the unit to get it out? Mine got stuck inside. I had to use a different one. So the original one is still in there

I got the exact same thing... when my rear cam is powered .. it takes over the whole screen and I lose the front view.. If I can't figure this out.. I will send that junk back to China..
