I'm not the manufacturer, I'm just sharing my experience with this dashcam. 480p is the default resolution for the rear cam. I've already hooked up a 720p rear cam with the same wire harness and it didn't work.
hi how do you set it up to overwrite on old files? mine seems to be going out of space constantly and doesn't record voice... other way it's a great device.
It's normal but if you want the screen always on,go to Menu / Screen Brightness and choose On. Advice : The screen should be set to turn off after minutes to prevent the unit from overheating (the battery is right behind the screen inside the camera and it get really hot in summer days)

Hello... My dash cam is just like this but I'm unable to get the menu for some reason... There are a few things I want to fix like the automatic shut off and it only records to about 2 minutes and restarta from 0 seconds again. The dual recording function is automatic, all you have to do is select witch second camera you want ( interior, or rear) in the menu. The audio sounds good compared to other mirror dashcam i have. And there is no possibility to improve it from the camera settings. Thanks for your comment.

I have the same question. Sometimes its a really good quality at night and number plates are able to see, but it is being blured in a few seconds (like changing focus on camera)

Videos are automatically saved in the micro sd card. To play on the camera screen: 1 Press OK to stop recording (Down button) 2 Press the Menu button (Up button) two times to select the playback menu. 3 Press Left or Right button to choose the video. 4 Press Ok to play (Down button).
You connect it to your reverse light on the back of your taillight. You have to splice them together. After you do that, itll turn on when you put your vehicle in reverse.

Good day King ABS. I would like to ask if you encountered: 1. "damaged video file" while browsing videos in dashcam? I bought the same Camera but it has "damaged file" to some videos. 2. I tried setting up the dashcam but when it is off for a period of time, it goes back to default setting. Every setting i did goes back to default when turning off and turning on the device.
No. The only problem I had with this dashcam is the auto recording don't start automatically sometimes (but not often) and it says *format your sd card* except that the quality of the videos is far superior than many other devices I tested. Have a nice day.

Red wire should be connected to the 12v reverse light wire to be able to see reverse lines on your camera screen. You can leave it disconnected if you want and use your screen camera normally when backing up.
This dashcam does not support Wifi . In order to preview the recorded sequences, you have to take off the memory card and insert it into your laptop/phone/tablet using a *usb micro sd reader*

mine, the unit does not record automatically. Every you off it requires formatting of sd card.

I bought one too. Press and hold the M button for around 30 seconds and the setting options will appear

mine too, only record 2 channels. front recorded on folder 1. rear or cabin (depends on active select) recorded on folder 2.

How to fix please format the sd card
