LYD could be a BWF commentator if he speaks English well. I love the way he analyzes so a viewer like me who knows nothing about badminton (and its strategic/tactical movement whatever) could understand more about a match/player weakness/strength. Also thank you guys for making the subtitles in three different languages. Please do not stop this Review session. It's fun!
Other than player from my own country, Arisa/Watanabe is my favourite pair from mixed double's sector. They formed a great pair. Both of them can play on front and back court really well. Arisa doesn't afraid at all to play bold against male player while Watanabe fast movement and amazing jumping smash make them one of the strongest mixed double pair right now. I really hope they'll play together for a longer time.

excellent commentary and analysis. as discussed all 4 players here are excellent. despite very different playing styles, only microscopic differences in skill on this day make the winners here. best point was about timing. chinese play the shuttle early and aggressively but theirs is straight timing game, like music on the downbeat-- easier to predict, while japanese more jazz-like vary with a syncopated upbeat, giving them a slight edge in control and conversion of defense into attack
