this would be interesting to hear, but the editing is very poor. when you are discussing the match the parts you are discussing are often edited out. and there are a lot of silly comments and gossip that can be edited out. i hope you will produce more of this kind of video with lyd's valuable commentary but edit it in a more serious way

randomly got recommended this video and the comparison is ridiculous now. Yes they were better in the past, but Indonesian MD's have not won a single MEDAL in the Olympics for 16 years now. They have not won the World Championship for 4 years and solely relied on the legends Ahsan and Setiawan for all their biggest titles. As good as Gideon and Sukamuljo been, they have not won a single MEDAL in any big events. The comparison is nonsensical
I agree, even from 2013 - 2022 in MD Indonesia only Ahsan/Setiawan were able to enter the world championship finals 4 times and become world champions 3 times, even in the Olympics they also went further to reach the semifinals

This is the first time I watch this video, right after I watched BWF's video about Istora. I immediately paused when the guy on the right said that Korea should learn how to train from Indonesia. This immediately reminded me to that controversial match from Kang/Seo vs. Alfian/Ardianto. Instead of learning how to train, I guess Korea should learn how to teach the players to show good sport and come clean in every match. I'm sure there are so many examples, but we all know one from Axelsen.
