    Great information about quite crankbaits versus loud crankbaits. First time I heard a pro address that.

    Thanks Seth for your Tips.
    In fishing stained water in the Fall, I prefer the silent crank baits.
    Most Bass get Smart to baits with Rattles in them. Fish can still detect a lure running through the water.

      Absolutely Rodney. We’ve had good success with the Ned rig in dirty water with less than a foot visibility which is clear proof that fish have a powerful ability to detect food through water displacement.

    I love the DT Fat. When I first started fishing I was in the military stationed in NY. I caught an 8.8 on one on the spring. At the time I didn't know how big that really is but it's my go to square bill.

    Could y’all do video on fish leaving your spot for good? So I’ll back track a little. Late late fall right before ice on I saw a pipe that almost goes across the entire lake.(end in the deepest water possible) and we saw fish on it but couldn’t catch them. Fast forward to summer of last year. Slayed em I watched them summer to fall transition. I come back this to the spot and livescope showed that they weren’t even there. I fished it for 3 hrs and no bites. What happened. And I must note that I fished the hell of surrounding wood rocks deep and shallow. I have no idea

  • @nickcavazos5718

    Crazy how efficient you can be making short cast with a shallow plug. Not having to let it fall, sit then shale and reel in. Was more presentations In an hour much less a day!

    • @Wired2Fish
      @Wired2Fish 3 роки тому +2

      Absolutely, he makes good points about bass often being suspended in the wood, and a crankbait the best tool for reaching them whereas you're often fishing below the bass with a jig or Texas rig.

    After he missed that fish on the log, he threw out to the middle of the lake for a cast and then threw back to the log... any idea why?

    • @maxxcavanaugh6660
      @maxxcavanaugh6660 3 роки тому +3

      Give the fish time to set back up. With squarebills you often cast to the same structure multiple times. When they are set up in wood like that you gotta drag it through just the perfect spot. I definitely do more repeated casts with a squarebill more so than other techniques. That’s my 2cents🤷‍♂️
