Feider with the master class! Thank you sir! Creeks and rivers are going to be my focus this year! For sure sprinkle lakes in. But generally bank and kayak fishing! Thanks again Feider and Wired!
This video was so helpful! Awesome job. Tied on all 4 of these baits today on the Ohio River. Managed to catch a 4.4 and a couple other 2or3 pounders. Caught fish on 3 of the 4 tactics. (Texas Rig didn't get fished much) thank you again. Its so hard to find any decent information or content on river bass fishing.
Never have understood why so many pros cast and reel right handed - cast right handed and reel left handed like Seth here and you don't have to switch the rod from hand to hand
I think the younger pros who still use righty learned from old timers. It's just whatever you got used to as a child. I was born in MN and still there. Almost every bass angler in MN uses lefty like Seth because we Minnesotans all grew up with spinning gear fishing for walleye and panfish. For some reason, spinning reels are mostly sold with the handle on the left and even though it can be changed, everyone just fished it as is. So we all just got used to reeling with the left hand.
There are a few moments here where he uses a right-handed and left-handed bait caster. Sometimes the reel you want doesn't always come in the hand preference you desire. BUT, you do make a good point. A lot of my friends switch hands when casting to reeling, and think it's funny that I use a left-handed reel so I don't have to pass the rod back and forth like it's a burning man festival. Tradition is a funny thing, but sometimes it's manufacturers faults for limiting reel hand choice, too.
@@garywest2250 LOL I guess. My dad put a Mitchell 300 in my hands as soon as I was big enough to cast so I grew up with a spinning reel and left hand reeling. I still left hand reel baitcasters even though I’m right handed. In addition to efficiency I like having my dominant hand on the rod when the rod is doing most of the work, so basically everything but offshore fishing.
Majority of people in the south do not use spinning reels. I see a lot of northern guys that grew up using spinning reels also reel bait casters left handed but I reel right handed and don’t switch hands. I also play guitar and finger with my left hand even though I’m right handed. We’re humans we can handle it.
@@Jcestanley Majority is doing a lot of work there. Everybody I know in the south grew up using spinning reels, I guess y'all went from zebco 33s straight to baitcasters? We all went to spinning reels as the next step. Might have to do with style of fishing. Farm ponds for bass and brim and crappie in lakes where I grew up. Straight to bass fishing in lakes likely lends more to going straight to baitcasting. Never said anyone couldn't handle it, but it is more efficient to not have to switch hands.
Awesome video! Iv been researching river pre-spawn, video after video, site after site and this video right here provided so much more useful information/tips/suggestions than any article/video iv watched! Just curious, what was the water temperature roughly? Thanks for this video man, super helpful! You gained a sub out of me for sure!
Thanks for the awesome comment Chris. This is the kind of feedback that motivates us every day. We can't recall for sure but we think water temps were in the low to mid-50s. Good luck this spring! It has come early for many places throughout the country.
You are probably subconsciously noticing something he does that most other pros don’t. He is right handed but uses a left handed reel on a bait caster. No hand switching. Very efficient. :)
It lets the hook twist freely and gives it more action. You can acheive the same thing by thing on with a loop knot, but the look knots aren’t quite as strong
When Feider speaks, we listen!
🙏👂
Yessir
Feider does a great job explaining what baits to use when, where and why. Always watch and listen when he is talking.
"Oop, Got a tree. Nice." Relatable hahaha. What a legend
Seth’s breakdowns are the most straight forward. Any one can learn from the Llama 🦙
Get the popcorn and sit back . Feider man in the house
He never stops spewing gold 🤮👑
@@Wired2Fish I'm glad he from my state. MN
Love it how Seth always giving tips and ripping lips at the same time in most of his videos.
"Wait till you feel'em IDIOT" LOL
HE killed it
So relatable. Nice knowing the pros share some normal angler tendencies too.
That was a damn good video, Seth. I’m sure I’ll watch it again. Thank you and nice fish they were.😎

Right on Lu. We'll be getting after the bank and kayak fishing too. Good luck this season and thanks for watching.
he's truly the best and my favorite!! Legend!
Feider is my spirit animal. I rock the long hair with the 'stache like him, one day I'll catch fish like him too lol.
Thanks Seth. I've always been a "look at the pictures " guy. Thanks for the education while you putting on a clinic!
Right on. Thanks for watching -- Seth is an instructor extraordinaire.
Favorite to watch and learn from

404 accent not found. Minnesouthern?
Mississippi timeee
Seth, what are your thoughts on red or orange baits during that pre-spawn?
Thanks for video
Most welcome! Appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Hammertime
I just wish know he’s spinnerbait setup in specific ? ( Rod , reel , line )
As soon as Seth starts a channel it will have 100,000 followers day one. Maybe even double that. We are ready Llama 🦙 please bring it on
Excellent
I love it
It almost bothers me how effortlessly Seth casts a bait caster. He’s like Obi wan Kenobi with a casting rod

@@fishitfirst2798 he actually uses both efficiently. You’ll notice he uses both R and L handed in the video.
That steez ctsv is the best reel on the market
Thanks Bro
Any time
My rivers in Pittsburgh don’t have any backwaters, only creeks. Where would they be then?
I’m in central PA! I’m in the same boat!
Fishing in PA has been pretty depressing lately
GOAT
The best
What was that black and purple reel with the black and blue craw jig on it?
It was a diawa elite I think either a 100 or 150, they come in red, purple, or gold depending on which reel speed you get.
Anyone know to get that hat?
Why do you have a split ring on your Texas riged tube?
Gives its more freedom of movement
Word
Water temp?
I'm going to be throwing a Crosseyez chatterbait in fire craw with a Big Bites Swimon Kamikaze flamethrower trailer.
What size flashy swimmer are you using with that swimbait? 5/0
It's in the description 4/0 he uses the vmc brand
Thanks. I didnt see it. Sorry about that.
"Nice."
"wait till u feal then idiot...the ate my trailer" 😂
Looks like pool 4
Floating worm. If they don't eat you see em
Is Seth Feider ambidextrous?
I'd love to hit up chick with ya sometime man
Could you Donate a Baitcasting Rod!!!????pleasssse
Feiders voice seriously puts me to sleep.
Why do you have a split ring on your Texas riged tube?
It gives it a more free-moving motion. It comes standard on the VMC hooks he uses.
It’s a MN thing Jkjk. Yeah it helps give more action to the bait.
