I dragged one of my friends to go see her during this Lowlands. By the end of Laura we both choked back our tears, and so did all the people around us - it was absolutely beautiful.

Natasha is great, but somehow, I think that two girls are missing here. :(
Glastobury performance was, again, somehow better more emotionaly real *to me* than this. But maybe it was a better act, who knows...
Just look at 33:50 - laura, it's pure, i would say 'true' emotion, by that i mean that's believable, trustworthy and beautiful emotion and then contrast it.
Maybe even look at the last song "Daniel" it's so natural, it's different performance that it was before, it's looks like she's over it, she's playing with it, but still it looks natural.
Well, with this album, she let go all her ghost, so maybe she really is over "Daniel". :)

keruis I think she is more ambitious on the last record, and for that it makes it a very good one for me
the thing is, you might feel this way also because, unlike the older performances, she doesn't play instruments but focalises her energy on the singing... i love when she plays an instrument, that was her strength before; she used to repair some old harmoniums and stuff and that was pretty cool
Sure, I give you that. It's just that maybe i'm more into that "raw" sound of Bat for Lashes. That doesn't mean that i think that what she is doing now is "overambitious" but anyway i like more emotional, maybe even immature emotional stuff.
Why is she so much more believable than Aurora?
They have a similar vibe... But... I dont know. Bat for Lashes makes me smile readily. Aurora makes me uneasy.
