I ditched my elite tier upper crust dodge dart for a forte to hold the line until evs got more sanely priced on top of having better audio.
Great review! What would you say are the optimal sound settings for this system? I just got my 2023 IONIQ5 this weekend and want to optimize the sound experience.
I tested one today and I hated the setup - even though it was totally centered, WAY more audio hit my left ear as the driver. Not centered at all, was really disappointing.
We have this car and we love it. I actually prefer doing road trips in this car more so than the fully loaded 2020 BMW X5 it replaced. It’s pretty quiet and the lack of engine noise makes it pretty relaxing. I do wish it had a better audio system to complement the quiet interior. Like Charlie said, it’s nothing great.
I would like to see a Mercedes v class (the van) burmester sound system review, i want to buy one and i imagine because we are taking about a sound system in a van will blow my mid but idk for sure or a bang & olufsen in a bmw x5/x6 will be awesome, a friend of mine wants to buy one and idk what advice to offer. 🤗

My friend had the same car as as me but he upgraded to an ioniq 5 and said he absolutely did not like the bose system that comes in the ioniq 5..he actually bought a harmon kardon system and got it installed on his ioniq 5.
Thanks for this video. The audio sounds good just not great. I have an ioniq electric 2020 and Hyundai chose a harmon kardon sound system which sounds GREAT PERFECT FANTASTIC. Idk why Hyundai downgraded with the bose system. My friend went from the same car I have to a ioniq 5 and the sound quality is just not the same. He actually bought a harmon kardon system himself and got it installed into his ioniq 5.
Thank you for your review. I really thought the sound quality was lacking compared to the HK system in my old Volvo XC60, which I would also consider a B-system. Did you not think the sound was over-modulating at some points?

On our UK models the Bose was fairly poor with low volume, the recent update has fixed the issue and it's like a completely different system now :)

In which models? They can vary dramatically, but in general they're only okay.
