HI EVERYONE!!! My classes are coming up this month! Please subscribe to my email list below to be the first to be notified! Or send me an email at janetged123@gmail.com and let me know you're interested so you can be on the presale list! I love you guys SOOO much and thank you for all the support! nursejanetg.com/get-in-touch
I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the nclex test last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mrs Brenda
I’m still in high school and I’m looking into all of this. I was wondering if I could shadow a plastic surgeon or someone in a clinic while I’m going through Nursing School?
Thank you for being so forthright and open about these things. I watched one of your videos where you said people weren't open and honest with you, so the info you give means that much more. 😎 I'm looking forward to watching you regularly because this is a field I'm suuuuper interested in. Happy New Year!
I am so glad to hear that! We need to be more transparent so people know if this field is for them! I am having virtual classes (my IG has the info) so if you’re ever interested in attending one, they are available! :) Happy new year!
I’m low your low key fan girl! I appreciate you being so transparent and I can’t wait to get into the program and get my license! Once I’m done, best be believe I will be signing up to your classes. Please keep the videos coming. It inspires me everyday. ✨💖🙌🏾
So much good pointers! 📝 Thank you so much for sharing your experience & knowledge 🙏🏼💜 I’m in my last semester of nursing school & I cannot wait to try aesthetic nursing.
Love these tips! Don't under dose. I always hear dose equals duration and I didn't understand that at first but now I do and people actually come back at the 4 month mark and their tox lasts until then and it's amazing to see. Thank you for the realistic tips on what to tell our patients and how frequently they should be coming in to see a noticable result versus something so subtle and then they feel like they didn't get their money's worth. I need to invest in your book on Etsy!! Such a helpful video. All your videos are!
Thank you so much! yes, it makes such a huge difference! my patients love me so much more now because of the longevity, it is great! Awww thank you so much! You will LOVE the content calendar!
I was considering this road, but after joining FB group “Botox/Dysport side effects” and reading all the horrible, horrible side effects people experiencing, I reconsidered my decision.
HI! So the content calendar basically tells you what to post each day. It gives detailed ideas on posts and stories and what you should say and why. It is in-depth and you can use it every month with your own ideas.
hi! so i am currently in this area of practice and i was wondering where do you get your continuing nursing education since it has to be pertinent to your current area of practice
Hi Briana! So some classes have CEU credit but you can also find CEUs on nursingceus.com. I do those for the remaining CEUs I need. In Cali, your CEUs don’t have to be in your field. I’ve done CEUS for Covid, flu vaccine etc etc :) great question btw!
Hi, Hope you're well! What procedures can aesthetic nurses do and a aesthetic doctor can't or vice versa? Are there any differences? I really hope you can answer ❤️
@@sophiaromero6242 Yep exactly. Also, nurses cannot own their own practice. So if you'd like to own your own practice without a medical director (doctor) then you'd want to be an MD. I would always check with your states licensing board to see what your scope of practice would be :)
Hi! I highly appreciate you making these videos! I got a question for you. Once you are a RN, do you take some courses for injections, fillers, etc? And do you need to have an Aesthetic license or something to perform those procedures?
Hii Maria! Yes once you graduate you can take courses (I have videos to cover that). You don’t need a seperate license because your nursing license covers it 😊 Watch my video “I graduated nursing school now what”.
Hy! I have question ... i graduated from high school ! Can i take adn degree and botox fillers courses to get into this ? Can i get job easily in aesthetic nursing after adn ? Or i have to be a bsn nurse for this ? If yes! is theres any difference in salary adn nurse or bsn nurse in this aesthetic nursing field ? Though i appreciate ur content 😇
hi! no difference in salary (that I know of) in the field of aesthetic nursing. you can definitely just get your ADN and then take courses to do this :) as far as getting hired, that is the part you have to do your part and keep at it. Apply apply apply and keep networking. nothing comes easy, but it'll be worth it.

The nclex test is very difficult to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞

Scammers now pretend to help you pass and the end up taking your hard earned money, Brenda is a sure help but very difficult to her her info
@@stellamarryann4673 Sometimes hard work doesn't pay you have to back it up with smartness, I think your cousin understood that perfectly
It is such a hard test..Kaplanhelped me immensely. No textbooks or anything just hours and hours of questions! Best of luck
@Bryan Josh I love this

How do you determine what to charge for consultations (if you do charge) etc

Hi Sophia! They can all do the same in the aesthetic field :) so injectables, microneedling, botox, threads, etc
@@NurseJanetG So then the only difference would be the time you spend in school?
