Another great interview. One of the things that I admire about Barbara is that she doesn't get stuck in all of the unpleasantness of life. She just bounces back and keeps going. That quality alone will get you so far in this life.
I'm not into money and I don't have much as a result. Barbara says that she likes having money because she thinks it gives her freedom. When I retired, I remember literally shouting in the streets - Free at last! Free at last! Thank God, I'm free at last!.... Meanwhile, Barbara keeps chatting away about how her business partner boyfriend dumped her, and all of her other struggles that come with the attachments to money. I don't see freedom in her aura at all. I see three face lifts and a miserable attitude towards aging. I see her need to be around younger people, flirting with the interviewer when she has a husband, and all the other insecurities that having too much money create. She's a slave to all the systems, times ten. She giving her time to constant lights, camera, action, needing to have make up and nice hair, and filling her daily schedule with appointments and meetings and whatever else she has to do to chase the dollar.
I am in my early 60s and retired at 53. Lots of people gave me pushback because they had difficulty grasping the concept of not working if you don’t have to. I looked at my life as stages. I earned everything I have now through a lot of hard work, but I owe it to myself to “stop and smell the roses” in my final stage of life. In my case I left the country after I retired and live in Latin America. It allowed me to get away from all the negative things happening in America while appreciating my new environment. I have yet to meet anyone who regrets retirement.
Nice way to retire. For me, I believe retirees who struggle to meet their basic needs are the ones who could not accumulate enough money during their active years to meet their needs. Retirement choices determine a lot of things. My wife and I both spent same number of years in the civil service, she invested through a wealth manager and myself through the 401k. We both still earning after our retirement.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $800k by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving; great wealth managers will always make returns.
Kindly share the details for reaching your advisor. With inflation negatively affecting my funds, I'm in search of a more lucrative investment strategy to optimize their performance.
My CFA Annette Christine Conte, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
"Three facelifts...a lot of people won't do it..." Heck, a lot of people wouldn't even admit to it. Thank you Barbara - God bless you for your honesty.
One thing that stuck with me was how she emphasized the importance of taking calculated risks, even later in life. It’s inspiring how she built her wealth with discipline and smart decisions.
That’s so true. I liked her advice about maintaining a long-term vision. She said something like, “Short-term sacrifices lead to long-term rewards.” It’s a great reminder for anyone working toward financial independence or building wealth.
I agree, but what really hit home for me was her point about investing in yourself. Whether it’s through education, learning new skills, or just managing your mental health, it all pays off. It’s advice everyone can use, regardless of their financial situatio
That’s where having a good financial advisor comes into play. For example, I’ve been working with Joseph Nick Cahill, and his guidance has been a game-changer for my finances. He helps align my goals with actionable strategies, whether it’s for investing or planning for retirement.
Oh, I’ve heard about him! A friend of mine worked with Joseph Nick Cahill and couldn’t stop talking about how much he helped them consolidate their investments and optimize their portfolio. They said his approach is so personalized, and he breaks down complicated financial concepts in a way that’s easy to understand.
This is an excellent interview. I find it extremely helpful right now in my life at 60. Thank You, Barbara, I genuinely admire you. I appreciate your candid honesty. So helpful. God Bless You. Yvonne Pena
Barbara went through 7 yrs of IVF treatments before finally conceiving her son. Expensive. She's a wonderful lady, always keeps it real. Tough in business, but grounded in kindness and humility.
I didn't know that. looked her up after your comment. She ended up using donor eggs from a younger sister using IVF & had a son at 48 yo. They adopted a 2nd child, a daughter.
I deeply appreciate the sincerity of this woman. None of that toxic hyper-positivity stuff which I loathe. She gave her honest perspective on aging, love, and money. Life is not all good. In fact, we will all experience more negativity than positivity throughout our lives. I feel that the acknowledgment and acceptance of this truth actually enables one to be more grateful and aware of the positive experiences we do have throughout our life.
Like I said ... everyone can make it , when you put your mind too IT! AND The Sacrifices and Consequences whatever type and form that may be, The Fact is You Choose. Wow Barbara hit that nail on the head when she talked about the fear you have as you get older and not just being able to do something like you did when you were younger. Its palpable and it literally can freeze you in your tracks
Loved that interview. She is awesome. I was poor, then built a business, ran it for 30 years, sold it and retired at 55. I prefer having money over not. I sometimes disagree with the money doesn't make you happy conclusion. Maybe it doesn't matter if you already have millions. More at that point might have diminishing happiness returns. But, to not have to worry about paying the bills and having the option to buy a horse and land for instance, can bring happiness. Making sacrifices to build wealth is worth it.
I've heard a good clarification; *past a certain point* money doesn't buy happiness. I appreciate you being honest with yourself and others that having enough money IS part of happiness.
I wasn't expecting to be moved, but I am. It is her directness. A straight shooter. And the interviewer is great, too. He is one-third her age, but cones across as an old soul. She has the spunk of a millennial but the collected wisdom of ages.
This was so refreshing. Not a lot of chatter. Straight questions ( good ones too). Fantastic answers. She didn’t have to sit there and think about anything. She just answered as in a rapid fire question and answer session. Now… go right her biography. What a fantastic person. Thank you.
I have watched Barbara on the Sharks and she holds her own. The best advice I took away from this is change your thought process. Get rid of the mental baggage. Develop your character. Learn how to be loyal even when it may be hard. But I might add there are some people who don't deserve your loyalty.
That’s my biggest struggle- people are loyal to you experiencing their shared fantasy and it always involves no loyalty to commitments and promises they made to you. So why believe non stop lies? I wish I had people I could be loyal to but all my loyalty left me empty handed.
This was so refreshing and enjoyed every minute of this. Possibly my favourite interview yet. Never in my 48 years have I ever heard a woman being so honest and secure about life, appearance, money and love. I know she’s a unicorn, but she has definitely restored my faith. Genuinely wishing her all the best. Thanku Sprouht
@@SprouhtA lot of why this interview is so fantastic ist because of your ability to dive deeper, ask more questions that show that you are not only a good listener, but very attentive concerning additional aspects of the topic, additional information about the answers that would clarify where your interview partner comes from, and showing surprise, honesty and emotion as a host. I feel that makes you stand apart from someone who does a good job conducting an interview and someone like you, WHO puts in a lot of personal confidence and reference to your own questions. I have conducted research about the best and worst of their lives, in a way I expected a lot of diversity and variety in these answers. What shocked me was all those answers had in common. Nothing was about money, everything was about connections with others, their children and their parents. She did, too. Most proud about showing her love to her parents buying them a new car, first time smelling the roses when she had her first child. She even said that it was the only thing that really matters!!! The plus side, like with her, was their own children. Most people said that having children was the one source of the most high in happiness in their lives, the best they had experienced. On the down side, a lot of people talked about a break up or loss due to separation or death of a parent or a loved one, and nobody talked about their own children at the negative side. Except for people who had lost a child. So, my conclusion after this poll was that YOUR OWN CHILDREN will bring you the deepest sense of happiness and thankfulness to fate and there is no emotional or financial risk AT ALL involved in having children. But this is the most important question for everyone in life - WHO are you having these children with!?! And THAT IS the ONLY ONE FACTOR deciding about the whole level of happiness of your whole life - it is the clever choice of your life partner!!! Most people make that decision when they are not able to think straight because of natural hormones, falling in love. But as she said marriage is long, tiring and boring and the right partner will be a supportive one and a good mother, putting the needs of her children at the top of her priority list, making sacrifices every day for about twenty years plus to raise more than one happy kid and stay a loyal partner for decades. Looks don't matter and the priority she mentioned matters the most, your partner MUST BE a resilient person who is not defeated by a stressful period in life, whatever it may be. Standing back up after every blow and staying loyally by your side. It's all about the inner beauty and strength of a person and not about her appearances. She must be soft and caring genuine and cheerful on the outside and at the same time have this stamina strength and determination and perseverance to stay in a long TERM RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE. Money makes it harder since it could always be the money she really loves. Your guest said that too, money makes it harder to find genuine love and friendship. It can and will contribute to the highest form of happiness in your own children and it can be a gigantic risk for the most intense emotional and financial loss in case of a divorce.
Such wisdom….without ‘loyalty’ to anything or anyone it all crumbles. Without ‘resilience’ we remain stuck in pain and give up. And if feeling lost, find someone less advantageous and dedicated yourself to giving. We become less absorbed when giving. Then happier. She hit the nail on the head to what is important in life. Love her!
Barbara Corcoran is truly a fascinating individual. Her calm and composed demeanor subtly masks the sharp, determined mind of a fierce competitor. It’s inspiring to see someone who balances grace with grit so effortlessly
This interview with Barbara definitely exceeded my expectations! Never knew how genuine, witty, funny and transparent she can be. Only seen her on ST but this interview definitely gave another side to her. Much respect to the Queen of Shark Tank
Having worked for the rich and having had regular contact with celebrities in my jobs, I can vouch for the fact that many of them are miserable and have really messed up relationships. Working for them drained me of any motivation to have making money my primary goal, and I would NEVER wish to be a celebrity.
@2Good2B4Gotten4Real poverty definitely brings misery, but after a certain amount of money ( research says 70k a year in the US ) that covers basic living expenses plus a few luxuries, you don't become any happier with millions. The research showed that people that won the lottery, after one year, were back to whatever level of happiness they were at before they won the lottery. Same thing with people who had tragic life changes like amputations or paralysis. One year later they were back to whatever level of happiness they were before their tragedy. The factors that seem to make people satisfied with their life are PURPOSE and BELONGING. And I should add that the "purpose" can't just be "I want to make millions of dollars" . The purpose should be something that serves humanity, something that helps your fellow human beings in some way. It could just be one person or your family, but it should be some way that you are contributing to the well-being or happiness of others. You could be a caregiver or an inventor or a kind customer service person, or a bricklayer who put his heart into his work building strong structures that served people for decades if not centuries. It doesn't matter, it should just be something, anything, where your energy goes to support the well-being of others. Then there's belonging: no matter what people say, no matter how much they say they're a loner or they're an introvert, people aren't meant to go through life alone. We are meant to be in relationship with other people, to have some place where people are happy to see us, where we fit in, where they need us. So if you're looking for happiness, find your purpose and your people, and then be as good to them as you can be.
@@2Good2B4Gotten4RealMoney can never bring 100% happiness to a person who has serious health problems, or to someone who can’t walk and is in a wheelchair. Money can never bring full happiness to someone who has lost all their family and loved ones. Money can help to get better doctors if you have serious health issues, but if a person wakes up every day with chronic pain, has poor eyesight or even dementia, money can never replace perfect health.
Some real gems in this interview. Its great to see an interview where the interviewer is not going for a gotcha moment. Its like interviews were 25 years ago, where the interviewee and their opinions were the important part of it all, and Barbara had some great reflections on her life...and so honest. Great stuff!
I'm loving my retirement so far! My husband and I worked hard to reach this point - we're both retired, debt-free, and fortunate to have over $3 million in net worth. We achieved this through a saving and investing lifestyle in the stock market, which now generates weekly income for us. And now, we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor! We're traveling, golfing, and spending quality time with the grandkids. We feel grateful to be living smart and frugal, making the most of our golden years.
Absolutely! I'm in the same boat. I just got back from a road trip across the country. It's amazing how much energy and freedom we have now. Make the most of it, because it won't last forever!
I'm a young dad and I'm really glad to hear your story - it inspires me! I'm still working, but I'm counting down the days until I can enjoy my retirement Years. Can you please share your tips? What's the key to achieving this milestone and making the most of your retirement years? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I hit $3 million in my late 40's and hope to reach a $5-6 million net worth by age 65. Most of my friends retired at age 50 with $5-10 million net worth. I am far behind my peers and am working harder than ever to catch up!
What a great interview! I am 78 years old and the thing I identified with most is the hesitation I now experience. For me, it's age combined with coming out of COVID with trepidation.
How refreshing to hear such an honest, real, unvarnished account of life and aging! Thank you Ms. Corcoran for such an authentic and realistic look at life and at oneself. Very refreshing and very inspiring.
She has a lot of wisdom. The only thing I question is regarding her marriage comments. She said that "You can take for granted..." I would counter that you can't take ANYTHING for granted because once you do, complacency sets in. She mentioned boredom, etc. Once complacency sets in, especially in the younger years, that's when people stray. Don't ever get complacent. Love your significant other like there's no tomorrow, because it's not a given that you'll get a tomorrow.
I agree wholeheartedly. Complacency is a very bad thing. I almost lost my part time day job because I started taking it for granted and way too complacent. It's strange how it works. Once you start getting too complacent something usually bad comes along and slaps you back to reality. Staying grateful and humble is the best way I know of to counteract this.
Everyone have different life experience and different perspectives and views about life . i appreciate and totally agree with her honesty about her comments of marriage issues . She is extraordinary case of old lady as such !
Maybe she's just being honest about the complacency that many people don't want to admit because if they lose their partner they'll regret feeling complacent. So who is in the better marriage? There's no such thing as measuring these marriage attributes. We are all contributing to the collective. All our perspectives are holy and worthy of a well-lived life.
Barbara Corcoran's insights are always gold. Her journey from humble beginnings to becoming a self-made millionaire is a testament to her resilience and sharp business acumen. What I love about her advice is how it blends real-world experience with a no-nonsense approach to success. It’s a reminder that life’s lessons are often learned through overcoming challenges, and that persistence, adaptability, and a positive mindset can turn setbacks into stepping stones. Definitely a conversation worth revisiting for anyone looking to grow personally and professionally! Great work mate
I love listening to people who are more experienced and successful than I am in life. It's like someone putting gems on the ground, and I can just pick them up instead of having to locate the gem vein and mine it myself. So much easier to learn this way. She is a fountain of wisdom. Thank you, Barbara.
Barbara is so funny and honest! About marriage being boring, and the importance of loyality and family being worth the sacrifice. Not having to worry about it every day is a sign of good family relationships. You have each others back.
When u know Jesus, u know the destiny of yr life, the meaning of yr life, u can be genuine, Jesus is there every moment when u need help. Peace , strength n joy that the world cannot offer.
I love Barbara! She is so refreshingly honest. She has a good grasp of reality in life, especially about why she does not have regrets. I totally agree with her.
I have never seen this guy before but he is really talented, smart, asks good questions, and listens well. Where did he come from? Wherever it is, he looks like he is on the way up. Btw, Barbara is such a gem !
FYI - Loving marriages do exist! I met my husband (and started dating) when we were 16 and we married at 22 when we graduated from college. We are now 66 years old and we are still in love and have a great marriage. (3 grown kids who are all married too) We are best friends who love and respect each other so much. Find someone who makes you feel at home when you get to know them. We started out as friends and fell in love. We try to help each other achieve what we want in life. Marry someone who has the same values as you do and be on the same page for working financially to build your nest egg. We don’t argue as we both try to work together on each of our plans. Don’t let someone tell you it is not good to get married. You need to find the right fit for you and you can have a life long love. Do not be rigid or controlling. Be flexible and be able to change and grow. My marriage is a treasure to my husband and myself. We have been together for 50 years now and I love him more each day. ❤
Most marriages are bad. Average marriage length is 8 years and even the ones that are "good", some are actually bad. That 70 year old French woman whose husband did the unthinkable to her thought her marriage was good. I think most marriages, 99% are bad, if you know what you don't know. You gotta be a bit insane, very ignorant to believe your marriage was good because I don't think most are actually good.
@@user-lxkwyql Most people get married and stay married for the wrong reason but you've got "to be a bit insane, very ignorant to believe" that this person does not have a good or loving marriage.
@@user-lxkwyql I think some people aren’t made to be married but media, society, church, family and friends may pressure you to do so. There’s plenty of good marriages out there. People change and grow. The “institution” of marriage takes as much work, loyalty, maturity and dedication as any job/responsibility.
God bless her sweet soul. Not everyone is bold enough to tell it as it is. At 47, I’ve come to the conclusion that the key to building wealth is developing good habits like regularly putting money away at intervals. It has worked for me and I was able to save over $15k which I've since flipped 5x consistently building my portfolio.
I didn’t have any prior investing experience. A CFA, Herman W Jonas has taken all the guesswork out ever since I got into his program. My initial capital of $5k invested in stocks, and crypto over the short term yielded me huge profit plus bonuses. It’s all about accumulating wealth through compound interest investments.
She’s naturally spectacular and a huge personality. But what makes this interview a jewel is that he could give it right back to her, laugh, smirk, and rib her back a little. She enjoyed that and fed off of his comfort in his own skin.
Maybe? What’s the alternative to aging? Be careful for what you ask or believe. There’s lots of great stuff about aging. Sure, it’s not perfect. Who cares. Make the best of it. Wisdom can be your greatest reward and to enjoy in older age. I think she is too focused on youth. Not content maybe? Too many facelifts. I accept the aging process but of course what really counts is taking great care of yourself. I do agree with her about her comments on getting weaker…”I can’t stand that I can’t run down the street”. But just watch you tubes on older people her age that can and compete in sports. Don’t give up no matter what!
@@fireflymary9269Whatever the alternative might be, it still doesn’t change the fact that aging is difficult and not fun. You can try to do or say whatever you want to make it easier or sound better, there’s no way to argue against all the bad things that come with aging. Speak for yourself about being “careful about what you ask for or believe,” I don’t share the same sentiment, as I’m just speaking facts. Besides, I have yet to have any older person not tell me that aging sucks, period.
Great interview. I respect Barbra so much for her candid remarks. As a middle age person I can relate to so much. With regards to love & having someone in your corner but it not being easy, love for life being paramount and moving at an even but steady pace, even though it took me 50 years to learn this. The facelift comment was humbling, I appreciate, as well as not really minding age but it being an adjustment and having to give up things you do to maintain a healthy physicality. I had to quit skiing early because my knees are now meant for hiking, yoga and Pickleball. It’s important to not loose everything that makes you feel young and alive. At one time it was how sexy I felt, now it’s how good do I feel because I’m strong. Men, in my opinion tend to hang onto sex far too long and it clouds their judgement for what truly makes them comfortable and happy in life. So, we as women learn that they can’t be the center of our happiness. Beautiful, thank you. 🙏
She does indeed have her priorities straight! What a super woman who has values, authenticity, and is very likeable. Loved this interview so much that I watched it 3 times. Every student in middle school should watch this and maybe this country would be a better place. Thank you Barbara. p.s. To the interviewer, great questions!
I LOVE HER HONESTY !!! A real genuine woman !!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤She deserves every dollar that she has !!! This is by far my favourite interview until today 😊
She's so genuine. One of my oldest friends worked for her at Corcoran NY before she sold her company, and she's just as genuine in person as she appears to be here in this interview. That is so rare and so undervalued.
I'm blown away with this interview. I have known Barbara mostly from Shark Tank show where she is portrayed by many comments as the person being "out" all the time, as a poking joke, but in this interview the life experience coming out of her is so bold. Thank you for this interview!
FanTAStic video! She is a woman I admire, NOT because she has money (it’s non of my business and if she was not on Shark Tank, I would not have known) and I still have no clue how much she is worth. I think it is because she seems genuine, she is blunt but not rude or hurtful. It is how she presents and how she carries herself. I am VERY PLEASED that SHE is the one who addressed the elephant in the room! How handsome this young man is, because he is and this is the first time I have seen someone flirt with him! Just a FANTASTIC video!!! Just?!? What I mean is that nothing else needs to be added to that. It is enough because it is that good. Period.
I’ve never watched Shark Tank or heard Barbara speak, and I’m really impressed. Such clarity, willingness to share and such good advice. So glad I watched this, and best wishes to her
Riveting interview! I don't watch tv so I'd never seen her before. She is SO right on SO many subjects. Just listening to her gave me pep this morning. Thanks for this wonderful interview.
I really value her candid honesty. I find myself feeling quite weary of the nonsense that society often promotes. Embracing the truth is what truly sets us free.
I absolutely love Barbara-she’s authentic, brilliant, and unafraid to speak her mind. I can understand why some people might find her intimidating, but I would truly love the opportunity to meet her. This was a great interview with excellent advice!❤
A wonderful interview with an amazing person. Barbara comes across as honest, straightforward, intelligent, balanced, personable, witty and a real gem. Quite a rarity! Chimo
Absolutely right. Marriage doesn’t mean it’s healthy or full of love. Could be toxic. She is a career woman and most career women who are super driven have been burned emotionally. She finds joy in her work. And she is so dedicated to her work. Very inspirational
Even though I do not know what is this Lady famous for, but I adore that she is to the point, highly concise, when every couple of words is rich in content and sense. A big rarity nowadays (when in an hour of intvw/podcast one could barely draw 2-3 thoughts expressed by the guest). Thank you, Both.
You live in Australia - a country that cares about the population. In America, politicians take away medical coverage to 5,000,000 low income children. This is then cheered on by Murdoch media - an export of Australia.
You love your life despite your age. Which is great! But don't tell me that physical decay is something to love. Unless, by some miraculous pact with the devil, you have the body and face of your 25-year-old self, I don't believe 85 is physically great in itself. Heck, 55 sucks already! Let's be real here.
16:54 i absolutely appreciate this interview as a mental health therapist and a person in general. The 'realness/genuioness' of her answers, and not to mention your questions ❤, were a blessing and honor to hear. I have always wanted to jump in her brain when i watched her on the show. It was great to see this side of her. I subscribed from this video 😊 thank you for your work and sharing!! Hopefully you will be interviewing me one day!! ❤❤😅😊
This was an awesome interview! Good job 👍🏻 Getting older does suck. I am 47 & perimenopausal. I stay cute, in shape, lift weights, desirable weight and it still sucks BIG TIME even though I feel like I am 30. The struggle is real. This year I had to stop ego lifting and that hit me hard. Also when a woman is any of the “M” stages, the “pause” stages her collagen tanks, her energy tanks, her beauty tanks, she loses muscle, and gains extra weight out of nowhere on top of the other multiple symptoms and she is required to move on and keep going. No one cares! What I am trying to say is that it really sucks! What has worked for me (after crying) was: hands down resilience, diet & exercise, self-care as in I take care of me and that has included regular facials and massages. No drinking or smoking, Hydration, having a Faith (Catholic), and not giving up on me. I ❤️ me. I will say at an older age keeping friends or having friends is hard, it’s nothing like in your teens and 20s. It’s a sad thing. I take the Eucharist to the elderly homebound after church on Sundays and I take a mental draining beating for that. It’s sad, yet they still “think” young. It sucks to think young, but your body isn’t.
I can totally relate to everything you say here and I'm a Catholic too 😊. I'm 49 and already menopause. I suffered from brain for a year and I thought I was going to get dementia, like my mom. I needed my mental capacity to do well in my job. The first doctor gave me textbook answers and refused to put me on hrt. The second doctor who's also menopaused could empathise and gave me bio-identical hrt. My mind is alert again. But boy even if I don't eat, the menopause belly is always there. I can't wear my nice lululemon without showing my fat tummy. I used to be hot 🥲 Now I'm trying so hard just to main my weight. Hair is thinner and energy depleting. Mind and soul are still young. Im in conflict 😅. Thankfully my skin and face are still youthful. Take heart. You are not struggling alone.
This is a perfect example of why women take care of themselves, their hair, their teeth, why they wear makeup. Looking this good at 75 cant help but make you feel good. It's not a requirement of being an authentic woman to let your looks go to prove some stupid point.
Why are there people commenting on the stupid microphone?.....who cares....they should've been focusing on the more important stuff, but no, they have to be out there with their negativity. 🤦 19:28

Thanks, Capt. Obvious.
Was that your first business you’d ever started? Congrats
Thank you.
my takeaway was...you cant learn and grow if you dont fail. like she said, she looks for those that are able to bounce right back.

I have watched Barbara on the Sharks and she holds her own. The best advice I took away from this is change your thought process. Get rid of the mental baggage. Develop your character.
This is by far the best of all your interviews! Her candor and authenticity are to be admired. Thank you for this mind opening talk!
Absolutely agree 💯
thank you so much
Such wisdom….without ‘loyalty’ to anything or anyone it all crumbles. Without ‘resilience’ we remain stuck in pain and give up. And if feeling lost, find someone less advantageous and dedicated yourself to giving. We become less absorbed when giving. Then happier. She hit the nail on the head to what is important in life. Love her!

Smart, sharp lady. People do accept you when you’re the real deal, so be yourself! She has a lot of good advice.
Having worked for the rich and having had regular contact with celebrities in my jobs, I can vouch for the fact that many of them are miserable and have really messed up relationships. Working for them drained me of any motivation to have making money my primary goal, and I would NEVER wish to be a celebrity.
My neighbor was a pilot for the rich people and he told me the same thing!
If money doesn't bring happiness, then what on earth does?? 😩😩😩
@@2Good2B4Gotten4Realgiving of yourself to someone else who needs it more than you.

@ OH LOL
I hate my marriage life. I agree with her 100%.

To some, marriage is just not worth the risk. Companionship? We'll have robots for that.
You are very lucky

God bless her sweet soul. Not everyone is bold enough to tell it as it is. At 47, I’ve come to the conclusion that the key to building wealth is developing good habits like regularly putting money away at intervals. It has worked for me and I was able to save over $15k which I've since flipped 5x consistently building my portfolio.
Wow that's impressive! I’m green to investing. I want to make better financial decisions but everything seems complicated. How are you doing it?
I didn’t have any prior investing experience. A CFA, Herman W Jonas has taken all the guesswork out ever since I got into his program. My initial capital of $5k invested in stocks, and crypto over the short term yielded me huge profit plus bonuses. It’s all about accumulating wealth through compound interest investments.
That's your view. In my experience, there is no such formula, it is nearly impossible to achieve success with investing. It’s all just gambling.
Can he help me? I’ve made more losses than profits since I started investing in crypto and it's quite embarrassing at this point.

She’s naturally spectacular and a huge personality. But what makes this interview a jewel is that he could give it right back to her, laugh, smirk, and rib her back a little. She enjoyed that and fed off of his comfort in his own skin.
I love this woman for her honesty and no Bullsh*t responses to questions that most famous people would avoid!
Of course aging sucks, even when I was 19, I understood that getting older would suck big time! Glad she’s honest about it.
Trust me , aging does suck. So does the government and rent also bills.
Even when it feels like no one notices or cares, persist. Let your drive come from within, not from external praise. ❤

Easy and powerful
I really value her candid honesty. I find myself feeling quite weary of the nonsense that society often promotes. Embracing the truth is what truly sets us free.
"Easy choices, hard life.
Hard choices, easy life!"
So, so true!!!
Thank you for such a reflective thought! 😊
Chimo
Thanks for taking the time to read my comment and giving it a 'like'. Chimo
Great interview! I knew very little about Barbara previously, and she's a really amazing person. I loved her honesty. Thank you!
She’s so flirty and awesome. Honest and sassy. She makes me smile ❤
Absolutely right. Marriage doesn’t mean it’s healthy or full of love. Could be toxic. She is a career woman and most career women who are super driven have been burned emotionally.
She finds joy in her work. And she is so dedicated to her work. Very inspirational
Doesn’t sound like she has a lot of respect for her husband.
@@ChocolateAfterDarkdoes he deserve that from her?
Even though I do not know what is this Lady famous for, but I adore that she is to the point, highly concise, when every couple of words is rich in content and sense.
A big rarity nowadays (when in an hour of intvw/podcast one could barely draw 2-3 thoughts expressed by the guest).
Thank you, Both.
Aging does not suck. I love it. 85. Tennis, bike riding, writing, water aerobics, yoga. Val Australia.
Thank you for saying that 🥹 I want to feel that way as well as I age🥰
You live in Australia - a country that cares about the population. In America, politicians take away medical coverage to 5,000,000 low income children. This is then cheered on by Murdoch media - an export of Australia.
True
You love your life despite your age. Which is great! But don't tell me that physical decay is something to love. Unless, by some miraculous pact with the devil, you have the body and face of your 25-year-old self, I don't believe 85 is physically great in itself. Heck, 55 sucks already! Let's be real here.
I’m the fittest and happiest I’ve ever been in my life and I’m 66.
I love this woman
Raw and honest
What a strong woman
May God continue blessing her ❤❤❤
16:54 i absolutely appreciate this interview as a mental health therapist and a person in general. ❤❤😅😊
This was a great interview. It’s refreshing to see a millionaire as humble and as down to earth as she is.❤
This was an awesome interview! Good job 👍🏻
Getting older does suck.
It sucks to think young, but your body isn’t.
you are beautiful!
Admirable! What are you doing for a living?
@@rosamoreno4794 I agree!
Try drinking fenugreek tea ❤
on Shark stank she seems serious but such a friendly person in real life. It’s amazing you can get interviews from these successful personals.
This is a perfect example of why women take care of themselves, their hair, their teeth, why they wear makeup. Looking this good at 75 cant help but make you feel good. It's not a requirement of being an authentic woman to let your looks go to prove some stupid point.
What a amazing woman. She is authentic. This is one great interview. I like your channel. Well done!
Only her facelift is not authentic...
What a woman. I wish I had her as my mum growing up. I'd would be leaps and bounds further up the path than I am now at 58.
You’ve still got lots of life ahead of you.
I love that this is such a laid back, authentic, full of contemplative wisdom and humor interview. Enjoyable content and interview.
Love Barbara. She is very authentic and have some good life experience to share
I want to be like Barbara Corcoran. A smart and wise cookie, rich AF and still a classy lady 🥰
Classy? She was vulgar for the first 3 min of the video!
She was brutally honest. Some people say they don’t care what others think about them, but she means it.
I'm dyslexic too, and you always give me hope! Thank you for being you and for all that you have done!
Why are there people commenting on the stupid microphone?.....who cares....they should've been focusing on the more important stuff, but no, they have to be out there with their negativity. 🤦 19:28
Clearly they are not learning anything from the entire conversation
What are you commenting on the people who are commenting on the microphone?
@@MJ-wrty I guess cause they're wasting my reading time....like you are. 😄
Ha! I never noticed the mic😂the interview was too good and on point. Lovely lady with alot of true words.
Shes authentic, genuine and full of light and wisdom. What a beautiful soul!
