A great example of Anakin using his emotions to fuel him. A dark side tenant. But at the same time an example of how that tenant is not ‘evil’ by nature. The Dark Side isn’t ‘evil’, it emphasizes power and emotion. That’s a slippery slope that can easily lead one to darker paths, but it CAN be walked without being ‘evil’. To do so requires the Control that the Light Side provides. The most powerful force user is one who has enough Control to use their Power without being lost to it.

Exactly!!! I was one of those people that refused to watch any of the animated shows. Well, I had watched all the live action ones, ugh, even the dreaded sequels and I was craving more Star Wars (I am an OT kid). I was at home sick one say and thought, "Why not?" I didn't even know there was a show on the Clone Wars. I started watching and got hooked! I was amazed that there were so many serious scenes and content. I especially didn't count on the humor! Sarcastic humor is my thing. I couldn't wait to watch several episodes a day. I wasn't real thrilled with the Prequel movies because it left so many unanswered questions for me. TCW filled in all the questions I had and then more! Learning about all of the different species were a bonus! And then the last 4 episodes......tell me that was a "kids show." I bawled my eyes out on those, especially the last 2. Sheesh....I have watched it many times and still cry. Poor clones! Rex is one of my all time favorite clones. After the end of The Clone Wars, I decided to move on to Rebels and then the Bad Batch. The sarcastic zingers in both were hilarious! The last season of Rebels gutted me. Especially the arc with Zeb and Kallus. Then of course, the last few episodes with Kanan 😢. I do love that I got to see "old Rex." The Bad Batch is also pretty serious. My favorites oscillates between Tech, Crosshair and Wrecker. And Echo....man. 😢 what he went through. I think my favorite at the end was Crosshair. So...I'm 56 and have a Rex action figure on my bookcase at work. Hardly anyone notices him. Actually, no one has, or either they have no clue who Rex is. If I hadn't watched the "Children shows" it would be a sad thing indeed. Now I have moved onto all the books! Even more detail! I didn't even know about the books! I wish I had started the "children shows" a lot earlier. Just learning about all of the species were worth it!

The concern and care anakin has for his men is so heartening when you compare him to other jedi. And the fact he didnt cut though redeyes body, even reflexively shows his respect for them

Its honestly really chilling just how well the Spider droid was puppetering the clones body. Any ordinary Clone probably wouldn't have noticed before it was too late and the droid was ripping them to shreds.
I love how quickly the clones show up to save him. My headcannon is that they've just always got some people tailing Anakin because they've picked up on his protagonist energy.
