I love your work, Alan. This episode was a joy to watch. It really explains the phrase, "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime". The way you portray the different cultures and the way they make food would be an amazing addition to Minecraft. Hopefully they add it so players can make different food without using mods. The ending was really funny as well. Keep up the great adventures of the stickmen.
I love the implication that when the village was being attacked back then, a Master Chef with unimaginable fighting skills didn't do anything about it.
Love how they use Minecraft objects and features in a cooking context like using a piston to push dough through the woven lattice of the scaffold block to make noodles, or using a grindstone off its axel to grind grains into powder. It’s really cool and creative and I just love these shorts so much.
And how the recipes sorta make sense! Like heating up sugar in a furnace to make syrup because it gets caramelised, and how boiling milk causes it to coagulate and become cheese.
i am someone who works in the culinary field and this was an absolute delight to watch!!! cooking isn't just about the final product you make, it's about immersing yourself in the diverse range of cultures they originate from and i think that was so well done here!!
How it started: “haha, stickmen like ramen” How it ended: food is an art, meant to be enjoyed across many different cultures because of their differences, and anybody who wishes to learn the art deserves to know it

In my personal opinion, it all peaked when Green finally had enough of this globe-trotting culinary fetch quest and decided to sucker punch Villager Ramsay before swiftly scarfing down the dishes they made for the cookbook trade like a pack of rabid animals. Bro was soloing the entire stick gang in his house yesterday but he never saw that punch coming🤣
The amount of research that probably went into creating this episode and making the recipes seem as authentic as possible to their homes of origin in the real world translated so well into Minecraft must have taken a very long time. And it all made for an incredible episode! ...That ending, tho... Sheesh...
As a mexican, I really liked how Alan and the team made that interpretation of our country. Though, the villagers didn't teach red and green how to make pan dulce, so the mexican food class hasn't finished yet!

The backgrounds and the villagers and the design of the dishes, it's a-m-a-z-i-n-g. We can really feel all the work that has been put in this. Thank you so much Alan. This is stunning. (And mouthwatering)
My grandmother is French and seeing those dishes brought back so many memories. Quiche, steak tartar, crepe, beef bolognese, and potage just to name a few.
It's funny that 9 years and he's still so good and never abandoned his stickman friends and always did things that the public liked, not what he thought was easier to do, thanks Alan Becker :)
Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.

The villagers look is different from every place they are in shows you how Alan and his team care even about the smallest details in their videos, true respect for you all.
The French villager bowing is probably the neatest detail in my opinion. Also the stickfigures must have insane language/literature skills since they somehow managed to communicate with 3 different villagers.
As both a cook and artist I loved this animation. And as someone who’s been watching your animations over the years and got inspired by you to try animated via that video of you teaching how to animate FireFox, I applaud how far you’ve come in your animation. It’s been a pleasure seeing you grow. And nothing gory of an inspiration as well.
As a french, I'm proud to see Alan honoring the french gastronomy and expertise. I was actually surprised he add the Quiche and Boeuf bourguignon among these recipes, since they're not really known outside France. That proves he made some researchs indeed.
For those wondering why the villagers who were once cowardly and oppressed by simple illagers can now handle fighting their saviors who took on world-class disasters. It is simple, training. As seen when the stick figures enter the village, the villagers had been constantly training non-stop all this time as unlike the stick figures who have the internet and got distracted with silly hijinks (which I love).
ok them training to be able to defend themselves when another raid happens makes sense but it does not make sense for a chef with knives to be able to solo all 5 of them while they're armed, hell, unarmed they should be able to beat him, especially when the villagers have probably only been training for a few months meanwhile the stick figures were literally made to fight and regularly spar with eachother and with alan
I don't think the 5 of them were going all out anyway since they only wanted the cookbook and not to upset an entire village that is now trained in their combat hehe@@kozolith2121
The way Alan and his team don't use an actual language but you can still tell what his stick figures are talking about is really impressive (and convenient considering he has a pretty universal audience)
3 things about this video. 1. The gang getting tired of boring Minecraft food makes a lot of sense by how long they’ve been eating it. 2. Blue being a show off while cooking makes a lot of sense and makes me love the guy even more. 3. The villagers coming back in a fun way is cool since now it gets me excited to see more past characters come back.
3. Is awesome! Maybe season 4 will have some more Purple Orange action? I think Orange will need to regain some trust from the Gang, and it’ll make purple feel bad.
@@DewIsAGorilla Purple would probably be a bit hurt but understand since king orange did try to commit genocide of all Minecraft things. But he would be able to show that’s he’s a good guy now. I also wonder when the Stickman will find out about his backstory.
This episode kinda feels like flexing Alan and his team's animating skill. Every scene was just stunning and satisfying. and music, sound design.. perfect in every aspect. Personally, I wondered how Alan would lead the story because season 3 was grand-scale. however, no disappointment whatsoever. this is just whole new level. Again, amazing work!❤
The way it's been going so far is that one season has a story, then the next is just light-hearted fun adventures, the next one has a story and...yeah.
It stuck out to me the most as I was able to recognize some of the other food featured in the video but instantly recognized the Hispanic food so quickly

I'm a gastronomy worker and have never felt this appreciated. Nowadays it's all about the food being quick and cheap which makes seeing some actual cooking (even in a video game) so refreshing. The ending was on a comedian level as well, you're a god, no debate
there is a reason why Alan Becker still remains the most popular stickman animator. Because he never animates the same thing twice, and appreciates different cultures, and never ceases to amaze us
But it takes a lot of imagination and skill to animate the way Alan does it. And also its very much about the story he tells. I would argue minecraft only is a small part, where it draws people attentions, but they stick around for the whole video because of the amazing story and animation alan provides
I'm glad that the portals are no longer the center of conflict for some great adventure but are used for side plots. Allows a lot more creativity to the story.
I was hoping to see the mod "farmer's delight" displayed here, but these custom models are extremely detailed and fit in neatly with minecraft's aesthetic!
the farmer's delight mod has a lot of addon mods that actually have every single one of these foods and textures in here (give or take a few, i haven't played all of them), i definitely recognized a LOT of the textures
The idea of using the grind stone to make flour and using the scaffolding as a noodle maker actually impressed me so much I couldn’t think of that within a year
I always appreciate the realistic little touches Alan gives his characters. Like in the racing one where they all got mad cuz Yellow said all of them were winners. I didn't expect Green to sucker punch the chef but a pretty realistic reaction to starving yourself just for it to be a "the answer was in you all along". Always love your videos Alan!
The secret ingredient of my secret ingredient soup is NOTHING! There is no secret ingredient. To make something special, you just have to believe it's special!
He was locked up in prison for a few decades, can't blame him for wanting some good food. Should've just given him some of Mr. Ping's secret ingredient noodle soup and all would've been okay, smh...
It cant be an alan becker episode without an incredible fight scene, an epic journey through a world hes created, a lesson taught without a single word spoken, and a hilarious twist ending XD
Cooking is not something that can just be given, it's something that is tested, time honored, taught and practiced repeatedly. Just like Minecraft building or animating. And Alan Becker has captured that PERFECTLY. Very well done. also now I want sushi...
Except that I agree on green's last move . He was like " so you made us travel the world just for 1 empty book ? You scammer !! We were starving !! " I would probably punch someone if they scammed me this hard
I noticed that the foods described in the video was actual real food from around the world, including French, Japanese and Vietnamese food. The animation team did a great job making the food as real as they can! Keep up the great work! 100/10
The group splits off into three main areas: Red and Green go to a Mexican inspired area to learn to make tacos, tamales, salsa (looks like pico de gallo) and flan Yellow and TSC go to an Asian inspired area to learn about chow mein (could also be Singaporean noodles, too many stir fry noodle dishes to really make a good guess), sushi, steamed buns (looks like xiao long bao) and bubble tea Blue goes to a French inspired area to learn about beouf bourguignon, quiche, croissants (quaso) and macarons It's all real world food. Also, don't see anything particularly Vietnamese here
Seeing Mexican female villagers making them help in the cooking process is something I didnt know I need. As both Mexican and someone studying in Culinary Arts, this episode brought a smile to my face
Villiger is truly just a humble chef. He knows good food when he sees it, he can't be bribed, and he beat the stickmen (two of which were able to defeat youtube itself). Gordon Ramsay would be proud.
Love how we get to know each stickmen's interests and skills in each episode Red: Animal lover, Fighter Blue: alchemist, chef, nether warts enthusiast Yellow: engineer, prankster Green: Architecture, musician TSC: Jack of all trades
A more accurate one Red:Zooligist Green: Architect/Designer Blue: Agriculture/Addicted to cocai- I mean netherwart Yellow: Engineer Orange: anything he wants
also blue a farmer, blue probably has more interests/skills so far probably we will find something more on red soon who knows i feel like he would be also a fisher but the type of fisher that would set the fishes free after caughting them?
The main cast -stopped the game from imploding because of king Orange -is stupidly smart and skilled at fighting -multiple years of experience -took down hordes of mobs -stopped a pillager raid -trained villagers to be good at fighting and enchantments Chef villager -can canonically beat the main cast on his own -did not do anything about the pillagers when they attacked -dies to a single punch
This was a nice change of pace, not much combat, no internet ending threats, just 5 stick figures learning how to cook in Minecraft and it was quite wholesome at times
As a culinary major, this video made me very happy! Seeing the chef kick their butts reminded me of "Don't mess with the cook", which is a very true statement. We do all kinds of heavy lifting and work in fast-paced, stressful environments. We could definitely kick butt if we wanted to. But also, don't mess with a hungry person either cuz they will knock you out over a taco. XD
love how blue decides to let the chick live specifically because red is watching knowing that there's a decent amount of chicken put into the ramen noodles
Honestly, THIS is what minecraft really IS missing. Imagine the different villages each having different types of foods. And each village has a chef that trades foods from other biomes. It'd be SO COOL to have some new edibles and ways to cook them, and kinda "regional" styles of foods.
I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard at one of your endings before. The entire animation was chill and soothing to watch, but the ending was your classic punch-line in the most literal sense. That’s for the great start to the weekend!
What a way to ruin the moment, Green! Still, it would be amazing to have actual corn, ramen, donuts, cheeseburger and fries, and pepperoni pizza in main Minecraft. Just saying.

How it started: “haha, stickmen like ramen”
How it ended: food is an art, meant to be enjoyed across many different cultures because of their differences, and anybody who wishes to learn the art deserves to know it

How it really ended: Maybe there are better ways of teaching people how to cook than forcing them to go on a worldwide voyage while starving
how it really ended: (green) deck him.

Spoilers: This episode was already so good, starting off with general, particularly well known foods before showing off different dishes from different cultures around the globe.
In my personal opinion, it all peaked when Green finally had enough of this globe-trotting culinary fetch quest and decided to sucker punch Villager Ramsay before swiftly scarfing down the dishes they made for the cookbook trade like a pack of rabid animals. God bless.

He probably beat the stick man team so easily because they were so hungry
This was a nice change of pace, not much combat, no internet ending threats, just 5 stick figures learning how to cook in Minecraft and it was quite wholesome at times
looks like every even numbered season is a chill season while every odd season involves world ending stakes
Still funny when green punched the chef at the end and they all darted for the food

Halo Kakak - Kakak Saya Membuat Video Dengan Kartun Yang Ramah untuk anak anak yaitu doraemon dan upin ipin 1
XD

real
love how blue decides to let the chick live specifically because red is watching knowing that there's a decent amount of chicken put into the ramen noodles
Not talking about what he did of course when he tried to make an omelette 😁
also baby chickens don't actually drop chicken, but minecraft logic tends to be loose in avm
Honestly, THIS is what minecraft really IS missing. Imagine the different villages each having different types of foods. And each village has a chef that trades foods from other biomes. It'd be SO COOL to have some new edibles and ways to cook them, and kinda "regional" styles of foods.
SOMEDAY i will make mods spdcifically inspired on Alan Becker's animations

I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard at one of your endings before. The entire animation was chill and soothing to watch, but the ending was your classic punch-line in the most literal sense. That’s for the great start to the weekend!
What a way to ruin the moment, Green!
Still, it would be amazing to have actual corn, ramen, donuts, cheeseburger and fries, and pepperoni pizza in main Minecraft. Just saying.
I love how every once and a while everyone will line up in rainbow order and it just looks infinitely incredible
Alan makes minecraft look infinitely better through his animation.
