..I’m persuaded this man has received a very powerful, most peculiar gift... from where all good things/gifts come forth from, The LORD Christ Jesus. I’m persuaded that He gives them to be used.and he enjoys it when the Man uses what he was given ..Mr Guy can make his guitar a extension of his voice.. Im a retired guitar player now for reasons..so I have the guitar player perspective. Before I picked up a guitar, I never fully noticed the guitar in a song..it was about the voice I suppose..after I then learned to play guitar for a long while. It reversed, I didnt hardly hear the vocals..just the guitar. ..I learned and gained a perspective that any song words of how the guitar player feels can be said by anyone and they perhaps not even care..they however, when your guitar playing alone can speak to me how you feel..such a guitar man that can do this..well, that authentic, peculiar, and gifted guitar player comes around about as often as a total lunar eclipse..so rare, I haven’t not seen a new guy come on the scene in perhaps the past 2 decades that I perceived they had the same type gift as Mr Buddy Guy here
SwampyMusic I believe they make a Buddy Guy signature strat with those colours. Im not sure about the pick-ups, but it was pretty common in the day to put an EMG active pickup in there. Something about those EMG pickups just reacted beautifully with some slap back echo or a blues deville amp.

I know this comment is three years old but if I remember right those are lace sensor gold pickups like what were once in the beck & clapton strats
