Early blues classics & Legends left their mark on many brit players who went on to greater things and in doing so, helped push a stuggling genre into many more hearts & minds and the flood of brit pop & rock, sailed across the atlantic which helped keep alive such a deep and soulful music.
I've been lucky enough to have seen B.B. King and Albert Colin's live. I also was blessed to see Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughn in concert the same night. I know they're jamming in heaven with all the other greats.
Grandma and Grandpa told me blues music was the devil's music. I couldn't get enough....It was truth music to me. The greatest note is that blues note that touches the soul and all you can say is.....TELL IT!!!!PLEASE!
Ah i was so lucky to meet Buddy Guy n his wife late 80s Burnley Blues Festival and BB King at Stadium Dublin approx same time thanks to a friend Brian Day in RTE TV. Im 62 yrs old now and still lovin the Blues n will till die 💝💙💙💙💝🙏

For sure, for originality and technical brilliance, Jeff Beck was in the top league. So modest, too. Good to see these great blues maestros recognised he was exceptional and in their league. The highest compliment.

Not just the best rock, not just the best psychedelics, not just the best pop, not just the best hard rock, not just the best prog rock, not just the best jazz (Mahavishnu John MacLaughlin, not just The Beatles, BUT also the greatest BLUES guitarists of all time - here some standing on this one stage. What an era to live in, as I did, from my teens to young adult -- are you envious? Too much? Well, then, you can JUST BITE IT -- hahaha LOL!.

BB is great by himself but he really treated us well by surrounding himself with some of the greatest talents in music
